Wayne BastianVery confusing process. No one there at my pickup time and very confusing building entrance. Wasnt able to pick up until about 15 minutes past my scheduled time. Was treated like an idiot when I didn't know how drop off worked and walked into location to give keys. Nothing was explained to me. I'm not stupid but this was my first time using uhaul and it was just so confusing and unwelcoming. Will likely just go to an actual uhaul store next time.

Mike GeboeMake sure not to get the corporate yahoo's from Arizona. They don't understand distance or the terrain in Montana at all and might send you on a wild goose chase. They don't bother to tell you if they have everything until a couple days before your rental.
Steve WhiteI received no email or other notification about my final bill and additional charges. I had to go to my account online and investigate prior transactions and read through the details to find out why my credit card was charged an extra fee. In addition, I disagreed with the reason for the additional charge, however the technician had created a typo in the documentation, leaving me with no proof.
Travis ParkerMake sure that the locks on the back doors worked properly we were unable to lock or load as we travel from Portland Oregon to Billings Montana and when we realized we couldn’t lock the door it made our trip very stressful to restock and when we stayed overnight not being able to lock our things up

Dennis SchuelkaWe were delayed due to heavy winds and rain as we came across the country. This required us to add additional days to our destination for which we were charged $100. Then, our RV broke down due to engine issues in Birmingham, AL which caused us to turn in the tow dolly at a local Birmingham location. We were charged a fee for that locations drop off. When calling the Transportation Center they indicated they could not assist with removing the charge. Finally, when originally traveling west to Montana in April the tow dolly rental was just over $100. Upon returning to Alabama in late October the rental fee for the same equipment was over $500. This is “price gouging”. Due to a combination of all these circumstance we would not recommend UHaul for any future business. We can be contacted for further discussion if a corp member wish to know more.

Josh SayerThe "yard" out in front of the office is very crowded, difficult to pull in. The equipment was across the street and it's a 1 way requiring us to go around the block to get there. We didn't know we picked up the equipment across the street from the office.
Leandra RitterCheck in went smoothly, vehicle was good. However, when I returned the vehicle, they said they would check it in and a receipt would be emailed to me. It took them 3 hours and 2 phone calls to get it checked in. Will go to a different vendor next time I rent a uhaul.

Charlie JessenThe U-Haul pick up truck I rented was not clean from the inside and the people works there are not so kind/nice. No greeting customer Like others U-Haul places. Being 30 minutes late I get charged for another 24 hours. They said if your 1 minute late U-Haul will charge you for another 24 hour. Whenever I'm traveling through in the near future I won't be using their services anymore. I hate to say Maybe if your white you get treated better.

Jason PopeI rented an auto transport. When I showed up there wasn’t one available. One had a jack problem and the other was rented out that morning to a walk-in customer regardless of my reservation and the broken one. They arranged for a one way rental from Rapid City back to Billings. It cost me $100 more dollars. I am still pissed!
Kevin OwensI called to book my uhaul from main street in Billings yet everyone was giving me the run around that I called the wrong location when I went to pick it up. I confirmed when I booked it was the main street location, and then I called to confirm my pickup 3 days before, they also confirmed it was main street. But I realized someone (or multiple) is lying to me. I never had to go through a phone tree to get ahold of anyone when I booked my reservation which is what I had to do when I called the place where my reservation was changed too. Even my phone records show me calling the Main Street location. I’m extremely disappointed at the amount of lying within the company to cover there butt and send me all around the city trying to get my uhaul. They wouldn’t even have someone drive it up to meet me, saying it was my issue. Would highly discourage anyone renting from uhaul in Billings.
Krista CarrothersThe gas gage stated 3/4 full, but it was only at half. The cab had gum and pet hair. I removed the gum and vacuumed. Also the cargo bay had quite a bit of dirt, so I swept it before returning. Could not print a invoice for me on returning van.

Ken WavraCheck engine light was on, check fuel cap was on, completely on empty at pickup… ordered and paid for 2 dolly’s and never even got one even after double checking with the guy who cashed me out assuring it was in there. Returned it and told the lady I never got the dollys and she says no problem I’ll take care of it. Get the receipt emailed and got charged for 2 dollys and had to sit on the phone for 30 minutes to fix it. Trash and an old burrito in the center console🤣 clearly they never checked the truck I got before renting it back out.
