We were supposed to have picked up our truck in Brooklyn Park, MN but the scheduling was messed up so we had to drive 35 minutes to pick it up in Hudson, WI. This made us 30 min late for our movers and cost us an extra $100. We are very disappointed with the scheduling team. The Hudson, WI personal are not to blame for the U-haul error.CARL B.

Main issue is with the mobile pickup. Could not complete the process with required photos. Kept getting error codes "Cannot process due to low memory." Sometimes it worked but most time it didn't. Was on hold for 40 minutes. Absolutely horrible. Will not use U haul again.Jacob H.

I had a recent order (23199966) that I had the WORST customer service from uhaul. The location (Regal Car Wash in Hudson, WI) did not stage the vehicle. Then I spent 2.5 hours standing outside the truck at the rental location trying to speak with customer service. Multiple chats and hours spent on hold before phone the hold line timed out and ZERO help. Had multiple chats end with "Please call this number they will help you".. That was the number I just sat on hold with while I was chatting. The number never got me connected to a person. Finally I got in touch with a person... but they transferred me to "make a new reservation" department.... to which they cancelled my order and then sent me back to on hold. I have never been so disappointed with the lack of help. Now I wont even get that bogus "$50" guarantee that my rental would be ready because they just cancelled the order instead of helping me. I still needed the truck..... so at 9pm in the dark I am scrambling to get a trailer from a friend. I will not be using Uhaul again and I will be extremely disappointed (even more than I already am) if there is no follow up. Zero regard for my time as a customer.Alec T.

It is a convenient location, and our 10-foot truck was there as reserved -- at a good price -- but they wasted a half-hour of our time (and about $3 worth of our mileage) by giving us a truck with a low-tire reading.MICHAEL D.

They didn't have the 9' truck I prefered in inventory. I went with the 10' truck which worked out ok. The truck interior was clean, the exterior was not. They didn't attempt or offer to clean them when I checked in. Reserved 10 furniture blankets and they said that they had sent 40 on a one way. Maybe time to reorder?Kevin K.

I reserved a 20' truck 2 weeks ahead of time only to have a uhaul representative call me the day before to say that my truck is no longer available, and that I would have to pick it up from a location that was almost twice as far of a drive for me. I needed it, so I picked it up anyways and it was a 15' truck which they charged me a 20' truck price for anyways. No chance I'll ever use your services again and I'm going to tell anyone who mentions renting a truck about this situation.Daniel K.

Truck was not cleaned. Cold winter day. As I drove home I turned the floor heater on. Whatever was there before me in left residue. I cleaned truck floor boards off near heater. Helped a little but the origins of smell were further the back of the cab.Kevin S.

I scheduled my rental to be picked up at 8AM on 8/2-20. All related info received from Uhaul indicated the same until 3 days prior when I noted that the most recent email indicated a 10:15 AM pickup time. I contacted the pickup point and was informed that the rental had been rented out previous to my renting and nothing could be done. If that was the case then Uhaul should not have indicated that I had the rental in the first place. Very poor customer service on the company's and not the Uhaul pickup centerrobert L.

It was my first time renting a Uhaul. I couldnt really tell that it was a Uhaul dealer. I had to look around for the door. Turns out its actually part of the gas station. Weird. UHAUL shouldn't auto-downgrade a reservation made online without calling the customer first, especially when the preference for comm's was via phone. Also when basing availability, perhaps notifying actual availability in a range. The auto-downgrade of size was not a pleasant surprise and can jeapordize event requirements. Otherwise the location/staff was excellent. Customer service, once I called, was very kind and helpful. Please reconsider your online processes.Adam H.

The ratings were for the facility and equipment. However, with U-Haul itself, we have a problem. We reserved a 26' foot truck 10 days before our move with confirmation. U-Haul pulled our truck, stuck us with a smaller one, and bounced us to another facility. We had people change their schedules to come help and everything was in order. By the time we were able to secure a truck, and only a 15 footer, some could no longer help and it caused us multiple trips. How can you send someone a confirmation and then pull their truck at the 11th hour?! We tried calling, only to be bounced around five times and put on hold for almost two hours. Absolute farce of customer service. And through the five operators, no one would answer the question of what happened to the truck we reserved 10 days before with confirmation. Glad we're not moving again anytime soon, and if/when we do, we will explore other options.patrick S.

I reserved a 17' truck successfully on the website. I arrived to he told there were no working 17' trucks, but they had a 15'. I took the 15, completed a new contract on site, took the vehicle and it worked great. About 4 hours later, I got a call from U-Haul saying it did not appear I picked up the 17' truck. I had to explain to them what happened with the truck switch. Not a big deal, but it was more complicated than it had to be.Robert M.

While I have no issues whatsoever with the location, it was NOT the location determined at the time that I made my reservation. UHaul changed the drop-off location sometime during my move. I am grateful that I received messages to update me on drop-off and I had good phone/internet service at the location so I could follow the self-check instructions easily. However, this location came as an additional change (NOT self-inflicted) after many others I had encountered since making my reservation and I found the overall experience to be extremely stressful. I also disagree with the policy to fill the fuel to where it was when you picked up. It should be full at pick up and filled before drop off for the ease of everyone involved. We overfilled the tank from where its as when we picked up but we were one mile over our rental mileage and had to pay a $0.38 overage. Get real.Kyle K.
