Nice man tried to help me hook up trailer. But when attempting to roll the lawnmower on ramp, trailer came off hitch and jumped into the air. Scratched by truck slightly. Lucky it didn't come loose on way to my house!!CARL W.

The online self-check-in is a pain. Not streamline at all. The app/website is always trying to upcharge you on some additional feature. In addition, the rental is listed at $19.95 yet we ended up paying $45 for 4 hours! That's false advertising and shameful indeed.Charles H.

Based on all the screw-ups (wrong milage out listed on contract and working hours /posted working hours of "when you want" - I cannot recommend anything about U-haul to anyone. In a town of 20K people do you really need 4 locations with no more than 2 miles between them. thin the herd of locations down to something you can control/make work.BARRY R.

I ordered a half dozen pads for my move. They were not in the truck when I arrived. When I asked the man at the desk, he said they did not have any and gave me no other options. I do not like paying for services I don't receive. He also took a rather extraordinary amount of time to give me the keys. I did not leave the lot until 40 minutes after my pickup time.lyndon W.
The rep told us to hook up the trailer a certain way, but my husband had to tell him that if he did it that way, it would cause severe damage to the chain and trailer. My husband has been pulling trailers since he was a teenager and he KNEW this was the wrong way to do it. I was glad to have my husband there, otherwise it would have been a wreck (pun intended).Carla H.

The gas station clerk was not familiar with the system. I rented the truck Sunday morning and returned Sunday afternoon. I was told on drop off that the system was down. The clerk would not provide me with a written receipt of drop off and assured me it would be fine. I received a call on Tuesday from uHaul asking me if I planned on returning the truck. It seems to be resolved now, however a lack of training lead to someone at uHaul not knowing where the truck was and the assumption that I did not return the truck.Clayton M.
