I reserved the truck for 8am but was told that the uhaul dept does not open until 9am. When I returned at 9 I was given a dirty truck with a completely empty tank of gas. Definitely not the way you want to start off a day of moving. When I returned the truck, the gentleman attending the uhauls were wonderful. I left personal items in the truck and they happily let me retrieve my belongings from the uhaul.Ralph D.

I was charged 160$ when picking up truck and upon returning the truck I was told to wait 20 mins for a email which I never got so I can be reimbursed because I didn't drive the full miles they estimatedErnest G.

The truck was dirty and had almost no gas. The location did not give me the equipment I paid for and no one spoke English to help me. I returned the truck on time and was billed an extra day and for the supplies I did not get even after I spoke to customer service 2 times and left a dispute claim. Vehicles in this location are always filthy. Also when you ask for reservation they always tells you to just walk in because the person who supposed to process those transactions is never in. They said that they don't speak English and that they don't know how to operate the computer. Also when you show up they always have to call another person to guide them on how to use the computer step by step over the phone. It makes you waist a lot of time. Because of ignorance from the attendant I was recently overcharged 2 days rental while I used the vehicle for just few hours and less than 15 miles round trip. So yes the service is definitely very poor and it needs a real improvement.AMADOUTIDIANE B.

I received the truck on empty for gas yet my paperwork said it was a quarter of a tank. I return the truck with more gas then what I was given. The tires on the truck were low and the warning sign was on the dashboard. The side View mirrors were broken and on the truck with tape. The inside of the truck was dirty. When I called them to tell them of all these things that were wrong they said it's no big deal just bring the truck back when we're done. This had to be the most undesirable experience I've ever had with U-Haul. The truck was dangerous and not kept well in addition to being given to us with no gas and incorrect paperwork. I am very disappointed in the experience that I had with U-HaulBARBARA C.

OMG! I rented a van and I was soooooo super happy to see that the van has a rearview camera!!! OMG! Thank you UHAUL! The mirrors are fantastic and it helps so much especially when a person is new at driving large vans. Also, the reservation and pick up experience was so easy and quick! While I was very happy with the pick-up location and staff, I am extremely disappointed overall with u-haul customer service. I moved 45 minutes away and had to return the truck to the same location...and had to pay double what I should've paid as a result. That's completely unfair and unacceptable. I wanted a credit or some sort of compensation for that inconvenience but was instead met with a very nasty representative on the phone who told me nothing could be done and that I had no options, outside of going with another company altogether.ALEXA P.

Truck needed new wiper blades. I had to sweep out back of truck.Joe P.
I was unable to proceed to the next page because I did not use the uhaul for more than a mile. I needed it to move something from one building around the block to mine. The app would not allow me to move further. The front desk clerk said I could leave the keys with her and that she would take care of ending this booking. I arrived at the parking lot at 930a to return. Also, the reservation process needs to communicated ahead of time and I should be allowed to start my pick up prior to arriving to the location. I could not start the pick up process up until 8:00am on the dot and my reservation time was for 8am to 10a. It took me 20 minutes to go through the pick up process. It would've been great to have a 20 minute grace period before my reservation so that I could get the full benefits of my reservation timeYajanira P.

The truck was in horrible condition. Airbag light was on. The maintenance vehicle light was in. The low tire indicator was on. They wouldn't accept the vehicle after 10:30 pm even though my reservation stated that I had until 10:53 to return the vehicle. I had to drive the truck all the way back to Yonkers. Find parking and drive the truck back to the uhaul location. Then I had to pay $37 for an Uber to go home. A huge inconvenience! That place is ghetto!Kisha C.

Did not get truck until 8:40. Was informed that the truck would be ready at 8:00. I got there 7:50, the gentleman who was alone told me I had to wait until 8:30 because that is the time the computer opens. Improve the state of the vehicle. The truck was very dirty, there were several warnings lighting up including: Servicing and adding air to the tires, Service air bags, and a general maintenance warning. In addition of being unsafe to ride, this creates additional stress on the driver.SAMERJ H.
