Bonnie SainioHelpful, curious and as prompt as the tech from U-Haul let him be. The U-Haul app is worthless. We have made 8 major moves in our married life. 7 with U-Haul. The loaders and unloaders were great. This truck was the worst truck of the 7. The others were good. Suspension and/or shocks on this truck needs to be fixed though.

Dione PerpichCalled ahead of time they told me exactly where they were located. When I pulled in, they came out to greet me told me where to back it up to three employees at the drop off location unhooked my vehicle to the trailer and sign me out within minutes very efficient and friendly.

Gary WinderThe locations were great. The over all u-haul experience was horrible and I would not recommend. Our current move is only temporary and I won’t be using u-haul again when the time comes. I downloaded the app. The app stated the pick up location was incorrect and was stating that there was no truck available- hence why we had to use a location further away. I call u-haul and they verified the location was correct on their end. I prepaid for the truck as someone else was picking it for me. I was able to do this over the phone without issue. Then when the dollar amount from my account didn’t match the truck, insurance and road side assistance I requested I called back. I was told the insurance and assistance were not on there and I was unable to pay via phone and needed to pay at location. I was transferred to someone else who did let me pay via phone. I was also paid for an appliance dolly and moving blankets. When my friend went to get the truck - the location didn’t have dolly or blankets and refunded me the price but also cancelled the insurance and assistance. I called immediately and was able to put them back on or so I thought. Just to be sure I called the next day to verify. I was told the insurance was on but not the assistance and in order to put the assistance back on I would need to drive the truck back to the pick up location which was over an hour away. When I started to explain the situation to Tabitha, she cut me off, said have a good day and hung up on me. Very poor customer service. No one seems to know what is going on. Will not be using in the future or recommending. I then had to go to the closer location and rent the dolly and blankets. Those guys were great! Also no tie straps included in truck. Told I needed to buy my own. Why would they not come in a moving truck??

daniel d brendelNothing against the place where I picked up the trailer itself, but I originally asked for my trailer to be out of a place where I was working, and not an hour away. I ordered my trailers a couple of weeks in advance to have them at the place convenient for pick up. Then they told me I had to bring the trail back to where I got it from besides, even though it says on the side of your trailers it can be rented for one way travel. The place of business is perfectly fine. U-Haul on the other hand , you are deceitful in your advertising.

Kerry ElmbergRepresentative was very helpful. Also called the 800 number twice (pick up and drop off) and very helpful getting pick up time moved up and changing drop off location. The truck had 3/8 of the tank full. I dropped off with 1/2 tank.
tim JohnsonThey closed at four I got there at 4:05 and everybody was gone the self drop off using your smart phone is a nightmare. I got some sort of message asking how I wanted to pay for 38 some dollars for cleaning which I absolutely refused to pay for cleaning a dirty truck That I rented that way there was no indication at the site where to park the truck there’s a blizzard coming and so I had to drop off that night which is the same day as pick up. I just was not thoroughly impressed with this U-Haul rental in general the only thing that was pleasant was, I had done my own research because they changed my original pick up to 30 miles out of my way And found one two blocks away and the lady I talked to did a free upgrade from a 10 foot to 15 foot truck. Other than that this whole experience has turned me off. I will be fuming if I see extra charges on my card. as this truck was completely filthy at the time of pick up and I cleaned it better than it was when I rented it. The directions as far as gas and mileage were very unclear being it was -0 and trying to figure out where to park where to put everything we had to takeoff the dolly and get my car off and go get gas and come back and try to figure out where to park the truck and where to put the keys and where to do this and take pictures and it sucked so much gas just trying to figure out and navigating these directions and then every time I moved from my car which was warm back to the truck I would lose signal. I’d have to start over again. Technology is great, but not for returning a U-Haul truck your system really stinks .
mona pittmanThe locations are fine. The problem was with the reservation. There was no trailer available after we had already paid a week in advance. We got a call telling us you were cancelling our reservation which was a nightmare. This trip was a one way to remove furniture from our parent's home. We had already driven 300 miles to get things ready. The local uhaul looked our reservation up and said that uhaul had us scheduled to get a larger trailer that should arrive at 7am on our pick up day. When I called to confirm that the trailer was there, it was not. The trailer was finally available at 10am. We are thankful for the larger trailer but moving parents out of their home is stressful. Threatening to cancel our reservation after we had already driven a long distance and prepped the furniture was not a welcome stressor. The trailer availability was a dysfunctional process.

Michael AndersonThe man was not very helpful when picking up the car carrier, I had to go ask him twice to come out and show us how to use it and for help loading the car, and was told well I'm the only one here right now but second time he came out but seemed irritated by it.
