I would NOT recommend UHaul globally. I reserved equipment for pick up in Grand Rapids, Michigan at a 7 am location because we were on a VERY TIGHT time schedule. When we arrived at the Grand Rapids pick up location, we were informed that they did not have a truck for us. We had to drive an HOUR to the Mattawan location to pick it up and that caused us a 3 hour delay in the day. The whole day fell apart because of the botched reservation. THe Mattawan location representative was AMAZING.John K.

We originally were supposed to pickup from the uhual on portage st in Kalamazoo. We had our uhual pickup scheduled for 7am. When we showed up to the portage st location, no one was there. We call customer service and were passed along to 4 different representatives. We waited an hour outside of the uhual and no employees showed up. This was an awful experience, especially since we had people to help us move who were only available in the morning. This experience definitely makes us reconsider uhual in the future. The customer representative changed our reservation to 9am in a town outside of Kalamazoo. That pickup experience at a small refrigeration shop was much nicer than the large location in Kalamazoo.David H.
It is not a typical U-haul facility that you might be used to but the person who waited on me was very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Submitting all the required information and documentation on line before picking up the equipment made it a very simple & quick pick-up visit.Kevin D.

Got along really good laid back environment really liked this uhaul place I'll be back to rent a rv trailer thanks to you we got home with our vehicle the uhaul place in Kalamazoo sucks they said you cant hook a auto transporter to a 10 foot truck lol we sure made it home he just didn't feel like doing the paperwork we would of been his last customers of the day but he lied and turned us away thanks Matawan... Don't go to the uhaul on 1004 postage street Kalamazoo mi 49001 they treated us horrible making our trip a day longer because we had to stay in Matawan and wait for them to open next day cost us more miles on the truck but uhaul took care of us on bay rd in saginaw mi thanks so much you guys this was the worst week of our lives with our mom dieing and us breaking down trying to get home after our moms funeral. The trailer came with dry rotted tires that were worn unevenly. I showed this to the staff at R&S and they said it "should be fine". They didn't have any other 5' x 8' trailers so I was stuck with it. Of course it blew a tire half way home which cost me 4 hours of time as well as $160 on a hotel room I couldn't get to because the blown tire.Mitchell S.

The place where I picked up my trailer was a terribly disorganized dirty facility. I have rented at other U Haul places before and each of them have been quite nice. This place was terrible. The person helping me was very nice! Drop off not nice. He never told me he was closing for the day. Wasn't sure what to do with the trailer when it was returned. I had to call the customer service for U Haul to let someone know the trailer was returned as the trailer was not locked up and I was concerned someone could steal the trailer and I would be accused of not returning it. The regional person from U Haul said someone from the place I rented it from would call me, he never did. One brake light was not working although he told me the brake lights were working. Other than the person helping me being nice, terrible experience. Seems to me if your name is on this place as one of your rental sites, at least a customer could walk into a clean, organized building. Someone should check this place out. Puts a black eye on your company. Again, the person helping was very very nice, it was the building and lack of follow through on returning the trailer were the main issues.William M.
The owner of R+S was very professional and knowledgeable about all the aspects of using Uhaul equipment. He treated us just like one of the customers from his own family business ! Very polite and friendly !Luara D.

Location is fine. Bring your boots in winter to navigate through mud and puddles in the gravel lot. Location forgot to place packing blankets in truck but customer service made it right by refunding fees.Jason C.

Have better contact with your outlet centers. The owner waited for me to pick the truck up. I requested a 1:00 pickup when first ordered and they had the only truck but closed @noon. Thought my pickup was @ 10. Tatal confsion glad he waited for me. Awesome ownerPETE F.

I couldn't get the online return to work so I waited for the mattawan location to open and the gentleman was rude and acted like I was an idiot for waiting. I wasn't sure how to complete the return and he made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I would rather drive to Kalamazoo than use this location.Jennifer G.
