Well the guys at this location are always so nice and helpful . My only problem was I was charged 40 something dollars based on me going 10 miles but by the time I drove to get gas and back I went 12 miles so there was another charge of 50.86 pending so I figured that was for going of 2 miles but 94.70 was charged and went thoughRoxann B.
Dropped truck off Sunday. Owner stated place would be closed. I dropped off across the street where a supposed employee of R&R lives. Left keys in drop box. 3 days later I am told truck is not there and cannot be located. I went straight to R&R and spoke with the guy who gave me the truck directly. For having a truck missing from his lot, the guy was very non chalant, saying things like " oh don't worry about it" , " it's in uhauls hands now" " you don't have to worry about anything"...when I asked him if they had cameras, he acted like he wasn't sure which was odd to me if you work somewhere usually know what resources are available to you in these instances. He then asked another employee sitting next to him, the guy says " yea facing right out front". Right where I left the truck. He says this as if the other guys should know that they have cameras. Then the guy says "oh well we do have cameras, but that's up to uhaul if they want to review that footage. In my honest opinion, I'm not sure how all this works with your guys vendors but the truck they gave me had previous documented roof damage and an exhaust leak. Not sure how somebody who works at R&R and lives where I dropped off truck did not recall hearing me drop it off or someone else taking it( truck was as loud as can be). Seems like an insurance scam or something to possibly get rid of that beat up uhaul they leant me( I had an appointment at another uhaul that didn't come thru so I was sent to r&R as a fix to that situation so I had to take whatever they had at the moment) and get a new one or some money or something. Guy wasn't even trying to review cameras or showed no sense of urgency in finding out what happened. Uhaul needs to seriously review this matter with a fine comb.Alfredo L.

Truck needs to be inspected fully. Tires weren't good, truck kept sliding in raining weather. Windshield wipers did not work, made view worse in able to see. This was the worse truck I've ever rented from U-Haul. I will not return to this location ever!Jasmine C.

Truck had barely enough fuel to make it to service station. AC did not work and truck was dirty. Plus advise the person said will correct the fuel overcharged and still has not done so.Anilkumar B.

The attendant was not friendly at all. Didn't say anything to me other than I would get an email receipt. In the past I received some kind of confirmation that I dropped off . But, processed the closing quickly which I did appreciate.Blanca S.

When I originally booked my uhaul, it allowed me to select the desired uhaul size at the location of my choosing. The next day, someone called me and told me it was switched. I wasn't really given a choice about the location, she just told me it was only a mile away. I found that process annoying but the people who helped at R& R were outstanding. Would highly recommend them.Megan Y.

The attitude of the person who waited on me was bad. Said this is not a Uhaul place , we run a car repair shop. Took me 2 1/2 hours to pick up a 20' truck, a car dolly , and some pads. They did not have the number of pads I contracted for and no furniture dolly. Very disappointed!Eugene K.
There is no parking or maneuver space to drive and park a 15' moving van with AT. Additionally, the roads are small and hard to navigate. Lastly, the neighborhood this boarders appears unsafe.Michael M.

We had opted to remove the insurance and we're still charged for it. Furthermore we used the vehicle for only 1 day yet were charged for 2. We had spoken to the gentleman and he stated he would make the changes to the reservation prior to charging the Uhaul, this did not happen this were charged way more than expected.OSCAR JOHNATHAN M.

I dropped off a 26ft truck after hours. There was no parking at the location. I ended up parking the truck across the street next to another uhaul truck. I assumed that was the proper location because there was no other place a 26ft truck would fit. This location should not have been suggested for dropping off anything other than the smallest Uhaul equipment.John W.

The vehicle was not ready as for pickup. I used the app pick up. The vehicle was blocked by a U-Haul trailer and I was not able to get off the lot. The attendant was rude when i approached him for help.Raymundo R.

The facility assisted with unhooking the trailer after making me wait. The trailer was not checked in on 12/22/2020 prior to 12/25/2020 due date. When I called to report that there was a mistake and I did return the trailer I was told that I was mistaken and that I needed to verify I did not have the equipment. After several calls and texts to retailer in San Antonio and Uhaul the trailer checked their property and identified the equipment was on their property and finally checked in the property. This is the worst experience I have had with Uhaul. I do not appreciate being threatened with legal action with my history in renting from Uhaul.Ivory D.

No one did the walk thru at check out. Milage on the receipt was wrong! The customer service was horrible!! There was trash and furniture in the truck we had to dispose of. We were told to be back by 5:45pm, we showed up and the location was close (we got there at 5:20pm)....THEN we were charged a second $133+ dollars AFTER we spoke with customer service (800 line) and were told we would not be charged!!! I would never refer anyone to your horrible company and I need a refund ASAP!!!!!!Corre T.

Truck was difficult to start. We had storage at 5810 San Pedro, San Antonio, TX. Extremely frustrating and disappointing to have to pick up truck all the way downtown on Hackberry in an unsavory part of town when parking lot was "FULL" of trucks at storage location on San Pedro, but we were told no trucks available. Waste of time and gas. Big inconvenience for us.Marcos B.
The office is small and dingy but the staff are very polite and helpful. They forgot my dolly at first, then what they gave me was old and rusty, could have at least spray painted it to be orange again. The brakes were not in good shape, so driving the vehicle was scary.Barbara W.

The guy that rang me up was rude and had an attitude. The older gentleman was however was very nice. The truck was okay. The AC didn't work and when it started to rain I found out neither did the windshield wipers. Probably going to stick with enterprise truck rentals next time.SAMUEL TYLER M.

Richard was his name upon returning this trailer that was so desperately NEEDED by the other location we jut left from in Louisiana, now he states can we go and turn this 5X9 trailer to another location as he did not have any room for it, we had just drove 8 hours the night before and are now trying to return their equipment the next morning as instructed to this specified location as we were instructed. He also asked US the customers could we call around as to where to drop it off. We stated to him to call, he did and we were atleast able to leave the trailer with him. No apologies were given at all, from either sites not even from calling 1-800 number, again VERY DISSATISFIED EXPERIENCE and we have always used UHAUL before!DARRIN LOUIS H.

Associate at rental location never checked my equipment in when I returned it so I was overcharged hundreds of dollars. I only should have been charged for one day. U-haul customer service was able to help me regardless of the associates inability to perform a simple task of checking my equipment in after use. This location I would not recommend due to my costly experience. U-Haul as a company provides exceptional service so I will still rent from U-Haul, but at a different location.Marisa C.
