The location closed early so there was no one to help. To pick up the truck via web, The web page said to sign in using my account (optional), or use my phone number and a code. But every time I tried with the phone number and code, when I selected â€œpick up rentalâ€ it kicked me back to the sign in screen. I finally had to figure out my login and password to be able to complete the rental. It was very frustrating after five times trying to use the phone number method, since the other was â€œoptional.â€ The truck was in good shape but the inside of the front window was dirty.Schuyler D.

The truck ran awful. I couldn't go over 45 miles an hour without it veering off the road. It needed to be aligned.Kim H.
i think we are owed a day's refund. We rented the truck on Thursday, packed it Friday to travel to California beginning early Sunday morning. The truck wouldn't start and Uhaul spent the whole day determining the truck had a bad battery. We weren't able to leave unti Monday morning. We still were able to deliver the truck to Uhaul Wednesday . Yoiu owe us for rhe lost Subday.Chase H.

This was our second rental of the same type of trailer (but not the SAME trailer) whose lights were defective. The first trailer had NO brake lights nor turn signals, the second trailer only had a right turn signal and brake light. Both times the guy checked the lights and said they were good to go (especially on the second rental). He was a nice enough guy, but it was a dangerous situation he put us in.CHUDDIE J.

The inside was very clean, however, neither brake lights nor turn signals work. You did get running lights if you opened the truck door. We tow our own 16 ft trailer alot, so we know the problem isn't the truck's wiring.Chuddie J.
It was very difficult to book. However, we did get a discount because they didn't have the vehicle we had reserved. Making an account and actually making the reservation was a nightmare. So, I guess it is the system I wouldn't recommend.Juan P.

Mobile pick up was difficult because the uhaul app doesn't relay the right information. However the location was neat and truck was ready, I won't use mobile pick up or drop off again and will schedule counter pick up and drop off.Jack W.

I had to make a second trip to location to attempt self return. App would not recognize location. Made multiple calls to U-haul and passed around trying to confirm return. Ruined my whole experience because U haul expects the customer to ensure check in at drop off. Wasted gas and time trying to ensure prompt return updated in your system.Anthony B.

When I got to the location, my u-haul was stick in the mud, and looked like someone knew it was in the mud, tried to get it out, and when they couldn't just left it for me. After an hour on the phone I was given a smaller truck, that had a ton of mud and some drinks in it...Brian R.

My Nephew phoned me after dropping off the trailer. His description of the person who checked him in was "Sketchy". We was so concerned about the person/process that he took his own video of the condition of the trailer and sent it to me in case I needed it. Additionally, he returned the trailer on Saturday and I received a phone call two days later asking if it had been returned , when, and where. The agent reversed the "extra days" charges when I explained the situation. I also informed him of my Nephews comments and concerns about the person who received the trailer. This rental from start to finish was VERY frustrating and has caused many additional steps that I now have to take to protect my finances.Travis H.

At first I attempted to use the mobile rental feature in your app. That was a disaster. Once I knew that I had to go to the office to check out the vehicle, the person that waited on me was knowledgable, efficient and friendly. Overall had a great experience with the local establishment. Corporate could work out the bugs on that app deal.laurie F.
I rented the truck so I could use the ramp to move a few appliances. After renting thr truck, bringing it home. I noticed this truck had no ramp, so I was unable to use it. It cost me money for nothing. I recommend if there are trucks without ramps that you all let us know it has no ramp during the reservation period. Thanks VicVictor R.
To start, the "app" said I was not where I was suppose to be, yet I was standing next to the UHaul trucks. THANKFULLY a employee showed up to work on cars(it was a auto repair place) he called his boss and he got me my keys. then since covid I presume, the neighborhood dealer where I was going was not open. So I took the truck back to the place I got it. Once again, I could not check in the truck. Had to call Uhaul once again. After sitting on hold while the guy did his job and got the truck straightened out. Which turned out I was suppose to drive the truck another 30 miles north to another town. Since I couldn't get the app to work correctly I did not know where to take it. HUGE fiasco. Modern technology, gotta love it...Raymond P.

Drop off location was 20 miles from my destination, there were 3 other facilities in a 5 mile radius of my destination. It was almost a 60 mile trip, I only had 70 miles on my contract. I feel as though you tried to cheat me into going over I will never rent from you or any other Uhaul location again, neither will my family nor my friends.James M.
This location i dont feel cares to be a uhaul location, when i got there the doors were closed. I had to go track down a worker and they proceeded to ignore me repeatedly. Poor service Wont use this location againjacob F.

Correct the hours of availability. The guy said he has changed them with you all but you all do not give the correct times. Because of this I had to wait for him to arrive which set my already very tight day back a lot!Bryan D.

The attendant was very helpful and friendly. He hooked up the trailer and made sure all was well before we left. We came to pick up the trailer at closing on a Sunday and I appreciate him working past when he was closed. Great place to get a rental. Online I had requested an Anna location and the summary on my account showed the Anna location, yet, when I clicked on the details I was sent to this Van Alstyne location. Upon arrival the Van Alstyne location was closed and no one was there. Online says they were open. A worker didn't show up until 35min after our appointment.Ilan C.

I live in McKinney tx and reserved a car hauler to pick up in denison tx Saturday at 12:30 after driving from McKinney to denison i got a call at 12:00 saying they did not have one even though i was sent a confirmation code.
