Overcharged us for rental and charged us for gas incorrectly. When we received our bill, we went back to get his corrected and we were told because the bill was finalized, there was nothing they could do we would have to call U-Haul Customer Service. We called three times to let them know we would be returning the rental late and we were told by Tracy that we had until 3:00 pm to return the truck at no charge. We were charged $40.00 for an additional day and $60.00 for gas because the cashier put the fuel level at 1/8 tank but we have a picture showing it was 1/4 tank which is where it was when we rented the truck. We called customer service and the Agent "Marietta" put in a claim and said we would have to wait for "Alvin" the Area Manager to call us back to fix this issue.Mark H.

Here's the rub. I had a different location for drop off in my contract. When I went to return the truck, we were told that UHaul cancelled his location 3 days earlier. And uHaul then gave us the different location at Sara Lee that was MUCH FURTHER AWAY. Took us an extra hour. Never would've rented from UHaul if we had known we had to drop off at Sara Lee because that was totally inconvenient. UHaul should not bait and switch on drop off locations.Darryl L.

Rena's Travel Center personnel was great. However, the equipment was not well maintained. My initial truck had an exhaust problem and the second one had a check engine light. The whole time i was wondering if i could reach my destination. NERVOUS THE WHOLE TIMEQuinnsander P.

The uhaul SUCKED ass!!! It was so LOUD it woke the whole street! Not to mention I felt ROBBED when I had to pay because there's no way I drove over 100 miles when my house and the storage is 7 miles apart! They were not knowledgeable about UHAUL and their solution was to cancel my truck when the one reserved had a padlock on the back. It took a total of two hours including a 20 min drive away and back to finally get a truck and then that process took forever.Kristin G.
I will never rent from U-Haul again nor will I suggest it to anyone I know. Ended up getting charged 300 and had no idea why. The girl never gave me a copy of the contract and signed my name on the phone while she was doing the contract. I will rent from Penske or Home Depot anytime I need a truck for anything. The 10' truck was relatively new but did have a few dents, scratches, and a crack in the windshield when I picked it up. That didn't effect my moving experience in the least but there was some confusion when I returned the truck that had to be cleared up regarding the timing of the damages. Staff ,(Blanca),at pickup location failed to put in correct drop off location. Pickup location was Rama Center Eatonton Ga When attempting to drop off I realized that Blanca had entered the pickup location as the drop off location ;instead of a location on highway 78 Snellville Ga..The persons at the attempted drop off were very unhelpful. Stated they could do nothing. Also stated that I needed to call U-hall 800 #.. Further stated that they had no room on their lot to receive the unit although there appeared to be approximately twenty empty spaces. Staff justified it by stating they had that many units scheduled to come in . Again stated they could do nothing . I had to call U-hall. Upon making the call I was placed on a recall list with an approximate 55 to. 65 min wait time. I then called the pickup location for help. Pickup location said they could do nothing that it was not their fault. I asked what time they closed as I would need to drive the two hours back to Eatonton to return the unit. Upon returning the unit to the Rana location I was told that they would submit the paperwork on line and I would receive an email stating the unit had been returned. It is now Thursday, July 28,at 8:42 am. The unit was returned Wednesday, July 27 at 5:40 pm. I have yet to receive an email with confirmation of unit return. In addition I did receive a return call from the 800#. However it was a pre-recorded options call approximately 90 mins after initial 800# call. Left another message. Have yet to receive a call from an actual person. In my opinion U-haul appears to have no standard operating procedures. That is of course unless the procedure is to pass the customer around. Don't assume any accountability and please don't stop talking to the two or three employees standing around to actually help the customer. Just tell the customer to call the 800# so that they call be put on a list for a callback in a hour or so by a non human.Harold R.

I had to drive an extra 70 miles from where I picked up the truck to get the trailer and back. Stopping at two locations to find it. At 10 MPG that is 7 Gallons of gas at $5 is an extra $35 you cost me and three hours I did not have to lose also.Then I was charged $110 more for the trailer since it was not rented along with a truck, even though I was driving the rented truck to pick it up. I then had to it by myself without any help or anyone showing me what to do to hook it up myself. Have you ever backed a truck up blindly to hook a trailer up to it? it isn't easy for someone who does it all the time, let alone someone who doesn't! I deserve some compensation for the dreadful experience!KEVIN E.

staff acted as if I was interrupting their work day. had me disconnect and put my tow dolly away and then park the truck in their back lot. they had me go back out to the truck to photograph the gas and mileage...rather than leave the office and check the equipment themselves. very poor representatives for your business, especially after the great care and service at the pickup location.Joseph M.

I had already completed my reservation online, but it was more of a help yourself at this location. I had to go get the truck in the parking lot with a key, but didn't know which truck was the right 26ft, they had 3. Again, the UHaul App would not function correctly.. it would not upload the photo of the gages. I had to go inside this convenience store. I had to go to this location because the equipment had been stolen from the original pickup location. Agent got the contact center to re-schedule a new location but it was 26 miles away. I think I actually passed a location with the needed equipment about halfway there. The second location did not have internet and was not able to dispatch and was understaffed. I would have had to wit an additional 45 minutes to be able to help me. I had to get the Contact center on my phone and get it dispatched. The contact center resolved the issue.Richard R.

Checkout was very slow, even though I had already completed the online check-in process. The employee did not know how to extend my rental; it was one-way and you only get 3 days, and Iwanted 4, so I had to call UHaul before the rental was over to extend. Otherwise, it just took a long time including taking pictures of the truck and trailer right next too the store because their computer wouldn't work farther away.Lee P.
