My reservation was of course NOT available at my original location and I was told I could drive 45 miles away to pick up the Uhaul. I drive 45 miles to this location and they did not have my reservation. I had to call Uhaul and leave messages for â€œthe big bossâ€ for authorization on a Uhaul. The size I reserved was 10 ft and they tried to give me a 36 foot rig!! The transaction took about 1 hour even though everything was reserved for â€œcontactlessâ€ pick up and drop off.KRISTEN ROSE W.

It makes no sense to do an online pick up and return, and then be forced to go inside and speak to someone to get a key! And then I had to go inside and return it. The person taking my key REQUIRED me to wait while he checked the vehicle, even though I did the online return and took pictures. I won't be renting from haul again as long as the pandemic is happening. It was unsafe and inconvenient.Robert P.

When I went to drop off the U-Haul at Ramada in in Wytheville Va .they was very unhelpful like I was lieing. They kept saying the gas was supposed to be almost a full tank and said I disputed the gas but I don't remember disputing any gas, he made me pay half the gas he kept half my deposit wasn't helpful about trying to call someone to get it straightened out. why would somebody dispute the gas it had half a tank ??why would you dispute that when you first pick up the truck, that didn't even make any sense but they just wasn't willing to work with me at all on it and I want the $45 that he kept I want that refunded back to my card. I returned the rental to this location 1 hour and 45 mins past the due time. I lost track of time while moving and was very appreciative of the call from the drop off location. But looking at my bank account this morning I see a 59 dollar pending charge from the drop off site. When I dropped off the truck she thanked me but she did not inform me that I would be charged this additional fee.JASONMYRON T.

The clerk asked me if there were any issues with the truck and I said no - there was no damage that occurred while we had the truck rented. She said that she would inspect the truck and email me the receipt. I told her that I would like to wait on her to inspect the truck and she said no she would email me a receipt. The next day I received my receipt along with a damage report that says that there was a light scratch on the decal and that there was a $171 claim filed with the insurance that we had for the truck. The damage report says that customer not available to confirm the damage - - that is because she sent me away. I will not use this site again.TRACIS R.

First, my reservation was confirmed 1week in advance. I was guaranteed a 26ft truck. I showed up at 7:59am for an 8:00am reservation and no 26ft trucks were there. They offered additional free mileage since I would have to make an additional trip. This still did not account for the additional time it took to get the truck packed, the additional expense of the guys we paid, the additional gas and time. When i ealked out with the keys to the 20 ft teuck, there was now a 26ft truck there which they would not let me have since it too was reserved. The 20 ft truck was nearly new and a good truck but not what we reserved.James W.
