The pick up location has no signage that it is a u-haul location, I had to enter a sketchy back entrance with no lighting or direction on where to enter, the pick up documentation showed that I had 3/8 of a tank of fuel and driving away for a few kilometres the gauge indicated that I only had 19 miles of fuel left, a little deceiving...

I already have a $30 refund for this experience. Late. Stinks. Smokes inside the office. Everything was a red flag including the literal flags and signs on the building. Hand-painted Uhaul signs. New movie plot, "Couple, planning to move into their forever home, rent a U-Haul but, are inexplicitly lured into a trap and are forever unknown."

I am so mad with my experience! I reserved a 20' truck weeks in advanced at the sarnia rd location. The day before I move, I have a text saying my time and location has been changed. How inconvenient!!! I had to reschedule the elevator. I had to reschedule movers. They didn't have a 20' truck. They only had the larger one. So I was stuck with the wrong truck that didn't have any brakes and had no gas in it!!!! I was also quoted $115 originally. But when I got there i was informed it would be $200!! Worst experience EVER!!!

The manager was over half an hour late, had dirty facilities with food all over it, a child sleeping on the premesis, lit a cigarette as we were walking to the Uhaul and had it burning in the truck, did not explain the information properly and was not sympathetic for his unprofessionalism. I will never book with this location again, extremely disappointed and will be telling other people to cancel if they get booked through this location.

Manager was 30 minutes late in arriving. Left me waiting in outside in the cold until he arrived. Location was dirty, poorly maintained, and unprofessional. Would recommend uhaul find a different vendor for the area. The experience was so bad that in the moment I was considering to never use a 3rd party uhaul vendor ever again.

Location was very dirty and dis-organized. Owner was not present at approved pickup time and young person self there by herself was not trained on how to do U-Haul pickup. However she was very friendly and was able to help by calling the owner and completing the transaction. I would have preferred the Clark Rd location in London.

This trailer would not track well. speeds above 80Kl's would swing side to side . I've rented this size trailer before and NEVER had such issue. in future I will not use UHAUL .

The drop off location could hold only 4 vehicles. Very small. I arrived there to drop off the van and was told that I had to go to another location because they were full. So, what is the point of having a reservation?

When I returned the key the guy got the key and told me you can go. He did not come to check the mileage. A day after I charged for extra miles. I stongly belive he used the truck after I left. He had another business in food supply. I filed a claim for this case and follow it up. He was very aggressive and not reaponsible at all. I am asking to check the CCTV at dropp of location.

Poor signage. Office dirty. Smoking+++. Employee helps to attach trailer but did not tighten coupler properly--second time this has happened to me at this location. Make sure you check all connections yourself! Not the location's fault, but the surge brakes on the trailer did not work, even after I topped up the brake fluid (which was low on pickup). Actuator slammed right through to max and zero braking effect. First time I tried to stop was a smoking-tire white knuckle affair that almost resulted in a crash!

Not open on return date, called uhaul to inquire what to do. Told me I wouldn't be charged extra because it wasn't possible to return to this location (store closed and gate locked) and then got billed for two extra days.

This was the 3rd location I was sent to in my neighbourhood. The one closest to my home had a problem, so they switched me to the next closest, which closed before I left work. In the end, my reservation was moved to the next day at this location. The staff were lovely, but it took quite a while to get us set up. I want to thank John in London for his assistance in getting this worked out.

They charged me more, and also when I show up to submit the truck no one there.. not even gates were opened to put the truck inside. My car was struck inside and I was forced to take the truck back, even tried to contact, no one answered. Poor quality and I am totally disappointed. They charged me 50 $ more not a good customer service and worst experience

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I booked a trailer to move from on city to another. When I booked it I was under the impression the cost was $40 dollars in total. I then called to clarify if I was able to drop off the trailer at the city I moved to instead of bringing it back. The customer service rep said yes of course and never explained that there was a huge cost difference. Nothing about the change in price was even mentioned to me. On the day of my move I came to pick up the trailer with my bf and the location we picked it up from was rude and disrespectful. Only then I found out the cost was $140 dollars. I called U-Haul to try to figure out why this was not mentioned because it felt like I was being scammed. I was on hold and transferred from one person to another for about 1 hours. The last rep I spoke to basically told me that there was nothing that her manager could do or offer me. I asked to speak to the manager 4 times but was not given the chance to. I explained that her rep omitted to let me know the price difference hence it felt like it was completely unprofessional to surprise me with a $100 difference. I had no choice but to book the trailer anyway so I paid the fee after much frustration. Once arrived to Toronto from London (3 hrs of driving on the hwy) my dad took a look at the trailer and was absolutely surprised that ball and hitch weren't attached properly. The nut the holds the ball and hitch together actually FELL OFF during our drive. My dad had explained that this was NOT attached properly and we could have lost the entire trailer and caused a major accident. I am beyond disappointed with this service. Also my whole family is absolutely shocked at how unsafe and disorganized this was all set up.

The whole experience was terrible. From dealing with the original "reservation taker" (who was a complete b!tch in every sense of the word) to receiving the product (from a guy working out of a Chinese restaurant supply store, who I had to wait for because he was out delivering Chinese food supplies). If I don't have to use your company again I honestly wouldn't. For the first time using U-haul I am truly surprised at your operation practices and how you have managed to be in business for so long. There must be a low level of expectations from your core customer base, or perhaps your prices are low enough that people just accept the terrible service and company design. Truly a walmart experience. (in case you didn't know, walmart is terrible as well) The only thing of value that I received from this was the truly epic and laughable story of how you operate. In comparison to companies like Carter Rental (who I use regularly) you're a business joke, and will be used as an adjective in rotation with walmart for describing how terrible things can be.

The customer service agent at this location suggested me to fill the gas tank to FULL and then drive the truck to the destination, which I filled as it was HALF FULL when given to me.

I will not rent from U haul again if i can help it. The first location told me i could not park my car at the location and then could not get into the computer system. the second location had about six businesses operating from it. Very unprofessional. The truck was filthy. I overfilled the gas tank and asked for a credit. I was told that was too bad. Overall quite a terrible experience.

This was by far my worse experience with U-Haul. I had to wait for the proprietor to return to the location so that I could pick up my rental. It took me the better part of 45 minutes for what should have taken 10 minutes. Then when I wanted to return my rental I couldn't get it into the lost because the compound was locked, and so was my vehicle! I then had to wait for the owner to return so that I could retrieve my vehicle. If I am ever given this pickup location again I will cancel my reservation and look for a new vendor!

Have owner aware of pick up, be on time, and have better signage. I have used Uhaul a number of times and this way by far the worst. All other scheduled events the day of moving had to be pushed back. Very unconvinced.

Poor service, poor business, non-existent customer service, the business owner is a crook. Despite the fact that I fueled the vehicle prior to returning it, the owner charged me $15 for fuel and $30 as the fuel fill-up service fee. Disgusting. Never again.

- Terrible service at the location and the company; your Company is plagued and blinded by its own hubris. - Hidden charges for "move-out-fee" or whatever it is that your Company charges; why not notify customers of these charges upfront despite how expensive the service appears to be? - Why was i charged $235 for a move that was supposed to be $161 when I initially booked the truck?

To whom this may concern, My name is Cheng Ju and I rent a moving truck yesterday from u haul. I have noticed that the charge for renting the truck rose from 19.95 to around 70 dollar. This has drove up the charge by much and I am wondering if there is any misunderstanding between the agreed amount and the actual charge, since we only rent the truck for three hour instead of the full day. I was given a cargo van with the gas light on and as I pulled out of the driveway the warning came on the dash so I had to find a gas station immediately. When picking up the van I had to estimate the km's and asked when I would have the van back but I booked it until 4PM. He said he needed it back earlier for another person. I returned it early like he wanted around 3PM and he was not even there and some random guy working at another business in the same yard said the manager was out and he'd take the keys and I asked who would check over the vehicle and he said the manager would when he returned but to leave the keys with him. Needless to say I took multiple pictures of drop off location as well as gas and mileage to cover myself. About an hour after returning the van I received a call from the manager asking what the mileage and gas was brought back at which leaves me to believe someone was driving the van after I returned it. Luckily I took before and after photos so I had th accurate mileage and gas level. This was a real shady location and I would never rent from there again.

the cab was very dirty, pop holders were full of pop, cigarette ashes everywhere, burns on the rubber of the door window, pop or something sticky all over the steering wheel, it was absolutely disgusting. i have pictures to back this up, very disappointing as i was driving from London to Peterborough and had a hard time holding the steering wheel as it was so sticky. i would like some action taken as this should not have happened.

The guy inputted the wrong $ amount to charge my credit card after telling him numerous times the amount to charge it, since I was paying part credit card part cash. The truck they gave us had no gas in it and it was marked on the bill as more tha 1/4 of a tank. The truck was filthy! Fruits, vegetables, dried leaves all over the back...the location was a fruit and vegetable vendor! I didn't ask for any more miles than came with the truck, they added on an extra 270 miles! Which would not be bad if I needed them! I foolishly forgot to check the miles on the truck and compare with the bill before I left! We drive a grand total of 150 km's and we were over on the miles! Thankfully I didn't have to pay for them since I had an investigation started because of the discrepancies! I will NEVER use this location if I ever need to rent a uhaul again!

I dropped off my Uhaul and took a picture of my mileage which was well below my contract amount. Then I get a bill for $32 saying I drove it an extra 245km after I dropped it off! I filed a complaint and am awaiting a response. Also, the location looked like an auto dump. Hence why I took a picture of the mileage and the back as evidence that I returned it clean and under the limit.
