What to expensive for a 1 way haul. Also trailer way to short

The first trailer was not road Worthy. The tires were severally dry rotted. The second trailer also had dry rotted tires and missing taillights. The dolly I used had poor tires and only the passenger side light was in working order. I was out time and chose to drive from Wichita to San Angelo without working lights. I believe there should be a better process in place to verify equipment's condition. Rob Pryor 316-734-2312

The computer system at this location was not working properly which certainly delayed the check in process. The attendant was very polite and did his best to work through the problem.

The webbing straps on the car hauler had been damaged and were not long enough to go over the tires of the vehicle when it was loaded. They should have been replaced! Did not notice this issue until loading the vehicle.

First of all, I requested for the pick up location to be in Newton, KS where I live and booked the rental through a dealership. I was called and told that I would have to pick up the trailer wherever they told me it would be about a day from when I was wanting to rental date. I had to drive approx 40 miles one way to pick up the trailer. Then it took me 3 hours to get the rental picked up. The people we very nice but they could not get the equipment checked out to me. Between them not knowing how to work the program. I had to call my friend that I booked the rental with to have her help them get through the process to input my information for the rental agreement. After they finally got the system to accept my information then the trailer was not found in their system even though it was setting on their lot. They called the Uhaul 800# to get help and their support t because they could not get the triailer to show up to proceed with the rental. UHAUL support told them that they would have to wait until the next morning for them to process the trailer onto their lot because someone did not return it correctly. I again had to call my friend and ask for help. She called her Dist MGR who was able to change the trailer to their lot to be rented out. After I received a call back from my friend she told the workers how to find my reservation and to assign the trailer to me for the next day. They did not have the link for the trailer lights to work so I had to go find a auto shop that carried the attachment to make the lights work then go back to pick up the trailer. The trailer had no jack so I had to get the guys to come out and lift the trailer to put it on the hitch. I was finally getting off their property at about 7pm. Oh what an experience. Then when I returned it the next day again the computer program was so slow and would not accept the rental back into their system for several tries. I spent another hour just trying to get the trailer turned in. Then again I had to have the guys take the trailer off my hitch so I could leave. WoW I would never rent another UHAUL again through anyone but our Newton location.

My pick location was changed less than 24 hours prior to rental. This location didn't have the extra equipment I paid for. It took 2 hours to get through the rental check out. This location also didn't offer to hook up the trailer or even bother checking to see if it was hooked up to my vehicle properly. My rental was set for 9am and I didn't leave until 10:45. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

Their is a $20 penalty if you bring the equipment back "after hours". The hours is not listed. Not disclosed. And the number provided did not answer the phone the several times I called. ....so if I don't know the "hours" how would I know how to define the "after hours"

The individual at the location did not seem to be trained and told me to go hook up the trailer. He didn't check the inside or how I hooked it up.

I had a reservation to pick up a 6x12 trailer at 3733 N Arkansas ave in Wichita Kansas. Upon pickup, the man working the counter did not greet us, give us any information about the trailer, nor did he help us. We went out to hook up the trailer to our truck and it was laying on the ground with no jack available. We had to pick it up to put it on the truck and my dad hurt his back in the process. We went in to ask for assistance and the man said “I don’t know anything about it so I can’t help you.” We also had to ask for the brake light wiring harness because it was not on the trailer. If I didn’t need the trailer to move tomorrow, I would have cancelled the reservation and tried to find a new supplier. I was highly disappointed in this service.

Barely spoke English, place was dirty and smelled like sewer. Didn’t feel comfortable providing my cc information. Would look for a different place next time.

Car tow dolly was inoperable. Drivers side tire was frozen, appeared the unit may have been backed into something, the plastic bumper was against the tire. The lock down was not secure, ? if it would work properly. Notified the store about the unit being damaged. Found another tow dolly at a different location.

We needed a trailer to haul a motorcycle I had just purchased home. The first location we went to didn't have what we needed but quickly found another that did. They made a reservation for me and we headed to the 2nd location. It was a dirty ran down convenience store. The guy that tried to help us rent the trailer barely spoke English. He did not know how to use the u-haul web site and had to make several phone calls. 1 hour later he tries to rent me a truck instead of a trailer even though I had reserved a trailer! He finally got it all figured and had no way to print my receipt, I told him to just forget the receipt because I didn't want to wait longer for him to figure out how to email it. I have rented several uhaul trailers and trucks and every time someone comes out and goes over the equipment, helps you hook up and make sure the lights work, etc. this guy just says thanks and leaves it up to me. I will never go back to this location again, and if you value your time and sanity you shouldn't either!

Very dirty place. Didn’t realize it was a u-haul drop location... U-haul person made me unhook the dolly and roll it back into a parking spot and then back the truck in next to it.. I’m sorry that’s not my job! It took forever. Then he wanted to argue about the twilight on the dolly, I told him that I told the people at the pickup location about it and they said they would annotate it.. They gentleman was very rude!!! Will never use that place again!!

No help from the guy working. He was like get your money, sign this and there's the trailer. No help hooking it up. No checking lights, which tail lights did not work. I had a friend check my hook up and he did it right for me. I rent this every year for several years. DONT SEND ME THERE AGAIN.

I thought this convenient store was very dirty. There were 2 employees and it was kinda busy and the 1 girl just left and left a line for the other girl to help all the customers. So the girl that helped us her name is Mariah she did not have a lot of knowledge of how to check the trailer back in so she was googling and calling people to see how to do this. She also have to help the other customers during this time. I would not recommend this location to drop off or pick up. This is a Quick Pick little store in Witchia Kansas I feel they need more training. Mariah was very courtsey. But the other girl was just eating her sandwich and looking at the customers picked up her purse and left the store

Returned my U-Haul on the 2nd of April per my contract and was charged a $40 late fee. The clerk stated I don't write the contracts said it was late and charged the $40.

I had to call UHAUL customer service myself because the person working said his server was down and he couldn’t do anything, he said it would be a couple hours. Didn’t even try to help resolve the issue by calling uhaul, once customer support took care of the rental the worker didn’t even come out and help me hookup the trailer. I was already disappointed I had to drive al the way from Andover with my uhaul truck rental to ge this so his lack of customer service really left a bad taste in my mouth.

After thought u-haul location looking only for the money. Could not print my paperwork, and I had to hook it up myself. I then went to the u-haul location at K96 and Hillside in Wichita to get my hook up checked and they also printed my paperwork.

The guy was alone and couldn't take care of my paperwork and put the trailer on my car in a timely manner because he had to help other customers. He didn't fill out the paperwork out correctly and had me returning the trailer to the same place when I was traveling out of state and you were going to charge me double the amount.

The communication was very bad. I waited 30 minutes because the tennant could not fill it out correctly. He had to call someone for assistance. My bill is currently over charged with items i did not rent. I plan to call uhaul today

I called in the order about 5 days in advance. Whoever took the info put it in wrong. The gentleman at the pickup site was very apologetic and did his best to correct the order. This took about 40 min. The software seemed to work very poorly. The trailer was fine. I will not rent from this facility again. The counter had candy bars for sale right next to condoms, there were porn CDs in the case, I guess for purchase. The only fuel station in Wichita I have seen that doesn't have pay at the pump. You should choose your pickup sits with a bit more care. It will keep me from using you again in the future.

have regular checks over the items being rented. educate the counter clerks better on using the system it was very frustrating to keep giving the clerk my info (my card number and drivers license) the lady that reserved the car carrier for me took down my info. then the guy at the uhaul place asked for all of it again. it took 45 min for me to get my traier. cuz he said it "didnt go thru"

Sketchy part of town, and I'm not sure why I was referred to a gas station in lieu of the UHAUL location I originally selected online. (the UHAUL location mentioned below had a couple trailers in the size we needed) The gas station clerk on duty was doing what he could to assist us but he was also the only person there so had to assist all other customers simultaneously. We had issues getting brake lights working on the trailer and he didn't have any equipment to test any of the towing fuses. We ended up calling customer service and they recommended driving the trailer to an actual UHAUL location that was like 2 miles away. (with no brake lights) Again, not sure why we were referred to this place when one of your main locations with efficient staff was just around the corner. Just not a professional experience at all.

It took over an hour for me to drive away in the truck due to computer problems at the grocery store. Second, I had reserved 24 blankets, only 12 were available. Third, I had reserved a furniture dolly, none were available, and the store personnel kept trying to give me either a 2-wheel hand truck, or an appliance dolly.

I chose this location because when I got to the drop off location on my contract sheet, I was informed that it was no longer a uhaul dealer.

I made a reservation on phone and had everything verified so it would be a quick process to pick up the tow dolly. I called the day before to verify it was there, The person answering the phone could hardly speak English and understood less. When I arrived to pick up the tow dolly for the next 45 minutes he tried to get the reservation to pull up on his computer and failing. He tried to call his uhaul rep from KC 8 times to no avail, no answer, no voice mail. He allowed me to get on his system to check the reservation also. Side note9(I am a system engineer, your system has a bug with a credit card getting stuck in a system loop.)Another 30 minutes of him attempting to call his owner, and a local rep (shane) Shane answers and is on his way home. When he arrives home he returns the call and we again create another reservation. He said after he will email it to me which I still have never received. So after 1 hour and 30 minutes plus I finally leave with the tow dolly and not one piece of paperwork. I use it overnight and return it the next day. Now to find out that I am billed for 2 days when I used it less then the 24 hours on my first reservation made. This would have been MUCH quicker, MORE efficient, and ACCURATE if you would set this up like they do the luggage carts in the airport and take the monkey out of the transaction.

This place is absolutely terrible! I wish there was an option to give it a negative rating. After having a poor experience previously with U-Haul and against my better judgement, I made a reservation to use another one of their vehicles for my move to Oklahoma. I selected a pick-up location that was near my house in Maize, KS, only to find that my preferred location did not have the truck that I requested. I had to drive clear across Wichita to find this filthy gas station as an U-Haul authorized dealer. I can not believe that U-Haul allows such a place to represent their brand. This is the scariest gas station I have ever been to in my life. As I stood there waiting for 45 minutes, I got the pleasure of viewing the facility's outstanding selection of drug paraphernalia. The counter is full of pipes, grinders, pipe filters, blunt cutters, and detox drinks - at least they're considerate and want to make sure you can pass your drug test, right? They even have their own mini casino in the back... There is one guy running the entire place, which is why it takes forever. If all of this wasn't bad enough, I find out that they didn't even have the dolly or moving pads that I reserved, so I had to drive another 20 minutes south to another location to get those. The guy did not do an inspection of the vehicle prior to us taking it, probably because he couldn't leave the store unoccupied. We have taken pictures to document the condition of the truck. Hopefully we don't have any mechanical issues or problems trying to return it. Stay away from this place!

This location was a long way from my requested pickup point, which interfered with my travel plans. The location was not especially clean or inviting. Even though I had confirmed my order online ahead of time, the attendant had to re-ask all of my information for the trip to enter into his computer. He seemed inexperienced but was very eager and helpful. He didn't do a walk-around inspection of the vehicle with me, which I would have expected. Overall, I would have preferred picking up the equipment from my selected location.

Completely terrible experience. We were sent to three different locations trying to return the truck and tow dolly. This last location required us to disconnect and back in the equipment ourselves and were very picky about the placement of the vehicle. Even after the awful experience and being assured over the phone we would not be charged for additional mileage/fuel that was incurred by fault of Uhaul, the clerk attempted to charge us an additional amount! Unbelievable, stressful and maddening experience. Will think twice before ever using Uhaul again.

The man was helpful with checking out the trailer and unhooking it. The location and store it self was very poor. I would not want to send my wife or family member there by there self.

I had a great and easy experience at the Quick Pick uhaul location. The employees were extremely friendly/helpful and the service was fast. This will be my "go-to" place when I need to rent a trailer. Two thumbs way up!

I waited 45min until she showed up after our agreement time. I didn't leave until one hour after my appointed time. Then when I dropped off I was told someone would be there again I had to wait until she showed up. Your policy states that I would receive a 50$ refund. Indtead I got a voucher for future use. Why Would I come back when my service was so poor. I want a refund like your policy states. Thank you.
