This is a NASTY convenience store! The parking lot is extremely unkept with potholes everywhere. I gave the man the keys and told him I was returning the truck and that there were blankets in the cab that were unused he said ok I'll get itMelanie B.

Dropping off the U haul was very quick and simple. The man running the store was very friendly. If you need to drop off or pick up on a holiday like I did, this is you place. They are always open. Highly recommend.Christopher B.
The first place we were to pick up was Nathans Storage in Warrenville. We waited an hour for someone to show up. They had a note on the door when we got there at 215 that said they were running errands and would be back shortly. I called U-Haul and they had to change our location pick up 6 miles away. This was aggravating since we waited for one hour and then had to drive an additional 6 miles to pick up a U-Haul. I returned the U-Haul one day early. Do I get a refund for this day?Alan P.

Radio on/off control could be more user friendly - bumps in the road made it impossible to calibrate. Seats could be of the air type. This would be better for longer journeys. It was a good experience. Will definitely use again.Barry O.

AC didn't work in 90+ degree weather Transmission slipping and at times we worried would we be stranded. Truck was dirty interior - items left from previous usage. Overall experience wasn't worth what I paid and will be looking at different options on the future.Sara C.

This was not the place were were scheduled to return our truck - 5056 Whiskey Rd was our drop off and it was vacant. It took us over 1.5 hours to talk on the phone to two different people and to finally get our truck to the correct place. We were told it had to be returned to a place that was open, but when we got there we had to log on to turn it in ourselves. This whole experience was not a good one.Chance P.

The only problem was the phone app. Neither the clerk or I could get it to respond in a timely manner. Eventually the clerk had to scan my driver's license and attach it that way. Phone based is a nice option, but still not ready to be the only option.Robert G.

Don't rent from the pick up location I went to in aiken poor customer service didn't even walk out of the store to inspect the equipment didn't bother to help hook up the trailer and I waited in a store for over a hour to rent the car trailer once he was ready for me he asked for I'd and debit card didn't explain anything or did he ask and opinions or if I wanted insurance for it but after I got the trailer self loaded it and left the store the trailer had a loud noise and the lights had a short they kept flickering I used the trailer due to the fact my wife and son was on the side of the road and I done wasted 3 hours dealing with uhaul stores when I dropped the trailer off on peach orchard rd the gentle man was trying to get it discounted and couldn't get my account pulled up so gave me a free rental and here it is 10:30 and there pulling money out of my account when originally I was paying cash and pick up store demanded a card I will not use service anymore and the money takin from my account needs to be replacedChris W.

The owner of the location was helpful and friendly and even called the night before letting me know my rental was ready, however when the truck was completely filled and we left in the dark and rain, the running lights did not work making it very dangerous to drive at night.Nicholas S.
The trick itself was jerking the entire time I was driving it. The brakes made a funny sound as well. I think I may have been overcharged but the guy at the store argued with me. I asked for a medium truck and was told they were out but they could give me the large one for the medium price, again I think I was overcharged. Store clerk tried to tell us we owed an additional 185.00 for mileage overage. When we disagreed and stated that we knew we had not driven over 400 miles he finally had someone go out and check the mileage again and realized he had written the number completely wrong. Not sure if this was a real error or a way to get more money. Once the error was realized he apologized but overall we were not pleased at how it was handled.Jimmy P.

There clerk was busy waiting on other customers and I actually typed in some of my information on his computer to expedite the process. The parking lot is very small and the trailers are parked near gas pumps, making it inconvenient to get to them.marty I.

This location was a part of a gas station in which there was only one person running it. He was spread between checking people out at the gas station, people purchasing bus tickets and myself trying to get my reserved uhaul. I have never placed a uhaul on the pack of my truck but today I did. I will not come here ever for a uhaul pick up/ drop off.Samantha C.

Location at a gas station that has bums literally sitting outside of the door. The cashier made me wait while he assisted other customers paying for gas station items. The location smelled disgusting and was dirty and gross!Ellen B.
The owner required us to pay $35 dollars because the uHaul was slightly below 3/4 of tank full of gas but he did not reflect that charge on our receipt. I know it would not have taken $35 to take the tank to 3/4. I feel like he scammed us and pocketed the extra money for himself.Nancy M.

Stay away from this place at all cost! This place is nasty and scary. Drunks standing at the doorway begging for money and trying to sell cd's. They got us going in and followed us when we came out to the truck still begging. As a female I felt completely unsafe. We had to track thru mud and weeds just to get in truck. Not parked on a concrete pad. Pulling out was almost impossible because the employee parked behind our truck. Did not come out to move it. Hard to back up when you are dodging drunks, cars and gas pumps! Horrible customer service. We were told when we got there they had no dolly for our order. Then the owner actually asked if I wanted to remove it. Uh, yeah... there's an idea. I don't want to pay for it! When we got to the storage place we opened the back of the truck to find 5 dozen blankets all over the place and a dolly. We didn't order blankets much less used ones that were in our way and created more work for us. At least we had the dolly we needed. I guess you just have to hope honest people rent since you obviously never checked in the truck correctly and had no idea what was in it. Someone else might have kept them. Uhaul should reevaluate using this business as a rental hub. I have used uhaul numerous times and have never encountered anything like this. If this becomes the trend I will head over to Penske.Rocky S.
This store was awful - I told the employee that I would be moving to Alabama and dropping the truck off at a location in Oxford, AL. I told him that the distance traveled would be 280 miles. He said OK, and still put me down as an In'Town move and had his store listed as the drop off. Trying to drop the vehicle off in Alabama then became a nightmare - the local Uhaul shop couldn't receive the truck because it was placed by a store in a different state - the Oxford employee called the Aiken store up and they said that they couldn't do anything because the employee who handles the Uhaul orders was gone for the day. Fortunately, the Oxford Store was awesome and was able to work it out and get everything fixed - In addition the Aiken store then billed me for the original of over $600 even thought the actual amount was about $350. I had to call my bank and challenge the charges. This store was awful and I will tell everyone I know in Aiken to stay away from them - these guys are crooks!ROBERT B.

I was given a truck at the origin in Central,SC which only had a half of tank of gas, because they had to switch trucks at the last minute because the original truck assigned to me had been damaged by the previous renter. Not knowing how much gas I would need to get to AIken, I put $40 dollars worth of gas in the truck to Aiken. I arrived at the drop-off and tehad 3/4 tank of gas remaining which was a 1/4 tank ABOVE what I was originally given. I asked the staff at the drop-off location if I could receive a credit for the excess gas. They basically didn't want to be bothered and told me to "go talk to Corporate" not exactly the type of customer service and response I was expectingJames G.
