As a first time user I was not impressed. Without even going through the entire process on my end. I got a screen saying that I had successfully located the truck, when in fact I had not even picked it up as yet. After each use vehicles should be sanitized. Speedometer and gas indicator was inaccurate. There should be a no smoking policy when using the vehicle atleast not inside.Davion F.

No parking. I drove over an hour to this location only to be told I couldnt park my vehicle and had to drive down to a residential area and leave my vehicle unattended all day, and walk back to pick up rental. Inconvenient location.TRACEYANNE D.
Hi Lady came late to open shop Very rude! She look like didn't wanted to be there . When I came back my fault I forgot the key in truck and locked door , she told me that's your problem and she never attempted to help me , and her self and another lady behind counter no Mask Covid ! Worst move ever becuase of uhaul. Reserved a 20 foot truck pick up in pickering drop off in newmarket. Spoke to one of your agents they never mentioned the truck change and when they said your returing it to the same location I said no I'm returning it to newmarket they said let me check then said ok. Went to pick up yhe truck found out the reservation was changed. They said they called but your system didn't take my updated number so I was never informed before the pick up even though I spoke with agent. I ended up spending two hours on the phone trying to fix everything only to find out how incompetent 5 uhaul people are. Non of them qualified the call to the next agent so each time I had to re explain everything horrible customer service. He first agent was a witch. The second actually told me oh we have a 20 foot truck currently at your pick up location as I'm sitting in the lot and can clearly see there is no 20 foot truck. So your still miss representing what you can offer even day of pick up. Do you not realize that people are booking becuase they think you have what they need and your telling them you do only to cause them complications on move day when it is to late for them to fix anything. Hostile customer service. Was told the location person I spoke with was a neighborhood uhaul so they don't always know everything and that there was nothing that could be done but you guys did your due diligence. Lol what a joke. 1 in 5 of the people I talked to was nice and helpful. Everyone else oh we need to get you to scheduling or we need to get you to customer service. Only for me to be told mamm I'm just customer service. It was a waste of my time in the end I had to make an extra trip so drive an extra hour and half than planned also uhaul would not honor the dorp off location I booked and said they would charge me if I dropped it off at that location. So another 45 min drive. Also I had booked movers on what was suppose to be the one unload but it wasn't becuase of uhauls bull. So I paid movers so that I could move a bunch of my stuff myself. Oh but you guys were kind enough to offer me 50$ because you changed my truck and some extra miles. But it was like offering a single French fry to a homeless person. You still charged me for extra miles driven. I spent 178$ in gas becuae of all the extra trips. So your $50 is insulting. You need to have competent people working on Saturdays that can actually make decisions and fix situations I ubderstand mistakes happen but this was not a mistake. You miss represented what you offered me when I made my reservation, didn't inform me of changes to the reservation even though I spoke to one of your reps on the phone. At 9am the day of my move with everything packed movers and family booked you knew I would still rent the truck and you raked me over the coals with extra expense becuase of your incompetence. Feels a lot like fraud to me.Tom M.

Improve? Try including the trailer hitch receiver. The truck is useless for towing without it. We wasted time, gas and mileage running around trying to find a receiver. The truck was filthy inside. Garbage in the cup holder, dirty sock behind the seats, filthy inside windshield, layer of dust and dirt covering dash, muddy and dirty floor mats. It is obvious it had not been cleaned in a long time and definitely had not been sanitized. This is a direct contravention of COVID protocols and I will be reporting it to appropriate government officials. This dealer is a joke and should not be renting Uhaul vehicles.Jessie R.

Rental was for 9:30 and we were on a tight schedule. The attendant showed up right at 9:30, so we had to wait while they turned on the lights, booted up the system and checked the vehicle. This put us behind schedule, which was frustrating.Paula C.

I received great service from the Agent. My reserved vehicle, a cargo van, had been stolen off the lot overnight I was offered a 10' truck as replacement, which resulted in higher mileage cost, but at least I got my tasks done. I was lucky to get the replacement, but would not recommend the location since the vehicles are not secured after hours.ALICE K.

I booked the van to be picked up after hours (9:30 pm), after I did all the process online I never received the code to access the key, I called and chat with customer service but no body was able to help me, actually nobody care, I waited or one hour on the phone and refreshing the website hoping the code will come but it never did, so I gave up and when home. The filling date I have to wait into the store was open, I explained the situation to the staff but they were rude. Anyways I picked up the truck more than 12 hours late, almost miss the window to pick up my house keys and at the end I was charged for the full rental. It was a very disappointing experience.Victor C.
Staff at this location was very friendly and helpful - recommended! Only issue I had was that the vehicle that I was given did not match the one that I reserved online. (This is not the location's fault). The van did the job that I needed, but just barely.ROBERT R.

Had online trouble with getting the lockbox code for rental truck keys. The code was not displaying and then timed out, this kicked me out of the process and I could not re-enter the â€œpickup vehicleâ€ process. The store was not open for another 2 hours. I called 1-800-Uhaul and was placed on hold for 35 minutes before an attendant took my call. Help should be easier to access, frustrating.Thomas R.
Be specific about the use of method of payment. You can rent a big vehicle with visa/debit but not rent a small vehicle with your visa/debitKIMARLA D.

When my dad went to drop off the rental truck he was verbally abused by the owner and her children for where he parked in their parking lot. He was screamed at and told to leave several times extremely rudely. Absolutely disgusting customer service at this location. If you can avoid I 100% would. We will never go back to this location and Uhaul may have lost our business entirely. Not sure I'll ever rent from them again after this.Manpreet B.

Leaving customer vehicle at customers on risk at the location before pick up of the rental and drop off. Because it was a little inconvenient to ensure somebody else was there to drop off the vehicle what if we didn't have somebody close? Just that apart from that great service thank you.azmina K.

Called 5 minutes to closing, crying and distressed after a hired moving company unloaded a 15ft truck of our belongings in a gas station parking lot, aftr hrs of attempts to extort money frm us. Unfortunately on the day of our move. The 26 foot truck we had booked two weeks before became unavailable. Jay, at this location was able to secure a 15 foot truck for us, thankfully as it would have impacted two households moving. We had to reload the truck several times which was inconvenient, but managed to get it done and return the truck ontime.DALE S.

I arrived to pick up cargo van rented online at 6:30 pm. Clerk told me UHaul counter closed at 5 pm and was unhelpful. He said to follow online reservation instructions. It was pouring rain outside. I exited store and UHaul reservation instructed me to complete transaction online. My password wouldn't, work and my attempts to reset were unsuccessful. I called UHaul and waited 12 minutes for an agent. She began to help and we were disconnected. I called again and waited another 10 minutes. Second agent was wonderful, My brother arrived to hep me and took over call. It took a further 22 minutes to complete rental. I was soaking wet and my phone lost power. The dolly I had requested was not in the van provided. The return 2 days later took 5 minutes and was effortless, My experience was super stressful and unpleasant. Not happy !,,,,Kristi H.
