Ensure you listen to the customer when they're picking up their rental. If U-Haul allows for a third party to set and bill for rentals and pick up at any location, the pick up location should have access to view what has already been included in the rental and paid for so the customer is not billed twice for equipment. Then once the charges are available to see, U-Haul appears to not to show the same charges that's appearing on my card. I will continue to reach out until resolved. This facility was smaller and crowded and I don't know if it was due to short-staffing, but the inside of the truck cab did not appear to have been cleaned out there was white dog and/or cat hair all in the seats and the floor hadn't been vacuumed out. Unfortunately, I didn't feel customer service was at its best here. I initially requested rental services from the facility on hwy 50 because I had rented from there before and had a good experience; however, that facility contacted me to let me know I would have to pick up from the 6th Street facility, which I didn't want to because of reviews that I had read. Suggestion: Provide some customer service training at the 6th Street location.Alicia B.

Make sure vehicles receive proper maintenance. This truck needed steering work; it floated all over the place and was hard to keep in my lane. This vehicle's engine shuddered very badly as if it were going to die at every stop light or stop sign. 1/2 way through my trip the check engine light came on and stayed on for the rest of my trip.Marvin C.

Make sure the uhaul is in GOOD WORKING CONDITION before letting a customer take it. The check engine light came on 25 miles into my trip, and the Transmission was shifting hard. ALSO I was charged for products I, 1 never asked for, and 2 asked for and did not recieve.MARVIN W.

The business was closed on the day I scheduled my rental pick-up. I wasn't aware they would be closed, so was not aware I'd have to call U-Haul to learn what I needed to do. In addition, we'd had snow & ice the day before, and the truck was not cleaned off. All I had was a short handled scraper which made the job pretty difficult.Susan G.

Absolute nonsense that we drove 100+ out of our way to pick up the equipment. The man at the Granby location was unhelpful, condescending, and rude. The woman I spoke to in scheduling was just as bad, or worse. The only person who was professional and helpful was the lady in Emporia. I'll happily recommend people to their oil change shop, but I will say bad things about Uhaul to anyone who will listen. Note to self; rent from Enterprise next time and make my life a whole lot easier.Tyler G.

No dollies that I ordered were on the truck. And they messed up my reservation making it an in town rental so I had to bring my truck back even tho I was moving to topeka so I not only had to make the drive back the next morning but also had to pay for those miles. I have used uhaul countless times, and this time will be the last time I use your service. In the last months it has been harder and harder to get the truck I need to satisfy the needs of my customers.And this time I was completely unable to provide my services. The woman who helped me at the Emporia location probably was the most incompetent person I've ever met. It took about 1 hour to rent a small trailer because she didn't know what she was doing, tried to blame it on my credit card when really it was a system issue. Never again will I use UHaul.Nicole D.

Similar to my comments before. The come-along ratchet strap on the passenger-side of the trailer was wedged too tightly for me to release. I had to take the trailer to the rental location to get help. They were cheerfully agreeable to help.Bradley H.
