The equipment at check out was faulty. Wouldn't take my credit card or debit card. Had to call my bank, but it was the the Uhaul transaction equipment that was at fault. Tried my Visa again, and it ended up charging my Visa twice. Had to call Uhaul to have it fixed

The fellow in the variety store who handled the transaction was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient. The van was in good shape. The van cargo area was not cleaned after the last user. There were dead leaves all through the back area, and the driver's seat was covered in some dirt as well. I had to brush out the back before loading my cargo. I recommend the vehicle be examined inside and out, and cleaning required before returning it. Thank you.

Store ripped me off I had to pay and extra 20$ but the email recipes I got said they owed me 20 never will I rent a truck from there again I'll go somewhere else like discount truck rental and I am telling everyone I know to do the same

They did not provide any documentation when the truck was returned early and did not register that the truck had been returned until 20 hours later. In the future I will only make a return to an official “full time” uhaul location and not a connivence store.

Very hard place to drop a large truck off...When I went to get a day's refund for returning a day early which was earlier discussed with contract personnel the proprietor was unwilling to help me until he called you about my returning truck a day early. But he did call you when I insisted that the pick up start time on the contract was wrong. I discovered the contract read that I picked the truck up at 4:30 when it was 5:45 The operator who refunded a day's cost was excellent so thank you for that. But I will not use U-Haul again unless I get from the Niagara Falls location on Thorold road. They were excellent which Is why so chose you a second time but the experience was very disappointing

Overall good experience. Pickup and drop off of vehicle was hassle-free. However it is becoming a bit of a recurring theme for me to have to pick up the vehicle at a location that is further away for myself. If that truck cannot be made available for me at the requested pickup spot, then it should not be listed as an available pickup location during the booking process.

I had the most horrible experience ever moving I broke down I was on the phone with U-Haul more then moving there were so many mistakes it was unreal. Was a loyal customer for years rented trucks trailers quite often. Will think twice about renting ever again.

Get the order right. Keep the vehicle cleared of snow and ice. Defrost the lock to allow ease of pickup. Or at least keep it covered aonwater doesn't seize the lock.

The rental was for 8 am and the owner of the store didn't even show up until almost 9 and he never answered the phone number we provided then he said his computer system was outdated and needed updating then he couldn't find my order even though I was showing him I checked in on line..this is the second time I have been sent to this location and the same problems...also the area is very dirty with garbage strewn everywhere I was afraid we would get a needle stick injury so we couldn't fully inspect the truck due to the place the truck was parked. I am surprised U-Haul uses this as a location and going forward I will refuse this site and only deal with the Welland avenue location . Does your company ever do a drive by of these outlets without them knowing you are showing up?

Very dissatisfied, needed the vehicle for Saturday delivery not told that it had to be returned by 7:00am got dinged for another day. Never again. My company rents trucks from you on a regular basis, I will be letting them know how badly I was treated. Your employees do not care about customer service. I am in a customer service environment and would be a little more helpful, they seem to no care. When I got back from Ottawa where I dropped the vehicle, I went to where I made the reservation and they take no responsibility for the situation. I've always used uhaul I will now think twice.

I wasted time calling corporate uhaul (1 hour at this location, specially) returning your truck. This location 1. Tried charging ne a whole extra day for being 45 mins past 10am, even though I called corporate the day before and was told the possible late arrival would be fine. This franchise did not read those notes. Then this franchise charged me kms ($51) even though 350kms were included. He refused to do the mile conversion and even though we should him the miles converted to less than 350kms, he refused to take the kms off. I said I wasn't paying for something included, and the franchisee advised, that was theft and the police would be called. When I called corporate, TJ had to finalize everything, I spent more time on my phone and went over my alotted minutes, resulting in extra charges, all because notes were not initially read. After this hassle and speaking with some community people; everyone we spoke too, has had a bad experience with Uhaul. In addition, Sandra, from Uhaul called on July 1, left the most unprofessional message with no pertinent information (she kept pausing on my vm, it seemed she was not comfortable with the system and could not find what she needed to tell me, which resulted in another call I had to make). For $222 for a truck we packed, moved, and unpacked, and the service we had, we will not be ever using Uhaul again. This experience ruined our whole move.

Though the location was smaller and different than other locations, it was actually faster to get the truck since it was less busy. Not having moving equipment however was inconvenient as I didn't realize this location was at a gas station and I ended up having to go to a larger location to get moving supplies, so I wish I was warned that this was a smaller location with no supplies so I could've gone ahead of time. I also had a long wait to buy my supplies since all the people ahead were renting a truck. Luckily someone let me go in front as I was already in a crunch for time. My main issue however, was when I called to book the truck, The person on the phone assured me a 10ft truck would fit my one bedroom apartment, even after me listing everything I had to bring. It was most definitely not enough space and we felt a 10ft truck could not fit a one bedroom apartment in most cases. I wish they would have better explained what could fit. I now have to do another trip to bring the remaining belongings, so I'm quite frustrated as I now have to find other arrangements.

A bit weird having the gas station attendant in this little gas station be responsible for the uhaul service as well. Seemed a bit inexperienced but he did get us the right truck and on time with no problems, so I guess we can't really complain. Just seemed a bit weird with the location.

Everything went well, but I was ticked off because online we ordered blankets. 1 dozen for $7. When we got there he told us they don't have blankets. I had to move $7000 worth of furniture with towels that I had to borrow from neighbours. My dresser was damaged during the transportation because of not enough padding. If I had known I would have brought more padding. Why would you have me order this stuff online and not be able to supply it. I came from out of town, What would you have me do.

The vehicle was dirty when picked up . The lady did not know how to do the paperwork , caused atleast a 20 minute delay . Next morning I brought the U Haul truck , the guy working said that he did not know how to use the system so I had to leave the truck and comeback when his boss comes in 2 hours. I said I can't do that , he called the boss and said I can leave . I recieved an email 20 minutes later and the charged me for safe move which I never asked for , how can you charge me for something I never asked. Terrible location and service

It is not acceptable to allow people to book for moving pads and not provide them. If you don't have them, at least have the courtesy to advise BEFORE we show up so we can bring blankets or something!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

-the site contact person did not do a circle check with me -the parking area was not lit and had obstructions -the tank was 3/8 full of fuel -the box of the truck was dirty....leaves, dirt, papers -it looked like the vehicle had just received new tires but I strongly suggest it be aligned....I spent the whole trip doing corrective steering -the drop off was absent of personnel...no return circle check by U haul -the vehicle was returned at 4:04 on Saturday afternoon -Thank you for the 2 wheel dolly -the truck had lots of power -the pull out walk/ramp was very useful

Our truck was not at the location it was supposed to be and the dolly that we reserved was not there on pickup we had to drive around town to get the dolly. This caused extra charges for kilometers. I have used uhaul several times and sad to say this was the worst experience that I have had and will not be using uhaul in the future. However the man at the location was very friendly and accommodating and was not his fault uhaul didn't have their ducks in a row.

If customer had completed info on line prior to pick up as I had it would be helpful if the info was already entered at the pick up end. As it was it took 10 minutes to complete the registration making it useless to complete it beforehand.
