Really appreciated the folks at this location helping with a truck at short notice. We had reserved a truck at another location, but it was not available when promised, and fortunately we were able to get when we needed from Quality Muffler and Brake.

The biggest issue was I rented the truck to tow a trailer and couldn’t even use it because the hitch was locked on the truck and the ball wasn’t the correct size. I had my own hitch (that I made clear to the person taking my order) and planned to tow with it. Needless to say. Rented a truck I couldn’t use. Used up gas and never even moved my trailer. Customer service was useless in helping. The location has no after hours phone number on file. The road side assistance for uhaul was also useless. I’m out $150 and have to rent another truck.

The chains were left far too loose and dragged along the highway as we drove. Fortunately, we checked them during a gas station stop, realized the problem, and tied them up with a bungee cord before it turned into a disaster - but by then, the chains had been worn down to almost nothing. If we'd drive any further without correcting it, they would have snapped.

I know that it is not the locations fault, but they did not have my truck when we got there. The individual that had it did, did not return it on time. They did fin another truck at a different location but I lost over an hour going to the new location.

We have never had a rental experience with Uhaul that has gone smoothly, as planned or without issue. Really quite frustrating. The only reason we return year after year is because there are no other rental truck options. Ugh. Unimpressed, as usual.

The owner was otherwise nice and respectful to me. He also wished me good luck and safe travels before I left.However, here is why I am rating it as a bad customer experience for me. I checked in online for faster turn around time and went to the UHAUL Draper store in Utah. As I entered the store, the owner told me it will be a minute. There was no customer at the store at that point. After 10 mins of wait, he started entertaining other customers who came after me. Anyways after I waited for 25-30 mins, and all customers who came after me were gone, he said now it’s your turn. Sad to see this kind of preferential behavior from UHAUL. Also, when I asked if I can leave my car parked here for an hour so I can drop uhaul at my place first. One of the store worker showed me a parking spot where I can park. Around the same time, the owner came back from behind and started getting mad at his worker. I don’t exactly know what he said to his worker but I could clearly see he was not happy. Only thing I could hear is his worker saying” I only allowed him is to park there, isn’t that ok” . The worker was really nice. I ended up parking at the same spot. Anyways I am not coming back to this location and won’t recommend it to my friends.

Make it so that you can return the vehicle after hours WITHOUT having to go to a website (which did not work well), download an APP, take a picture of the mileage and fuel level and then drop the key AND the CONTRACT into the drop box. Way too much! The Web URL that you're directed to should take you directly to a RETURN VEHICLE landing page. Same with the App. There should be no more than ONE click to get where you need to go. I had to hunt around the App to find it, and after taking the picture, there was nothing to confirm that I had actually done it correctly. Not very well designed.

Trailer was full of construction debris. Lots of Sheetrock dust. Vehicle had light issues that I was able to fix prior to trip. Had blow out on road. Service was fast and efficient and only list about an hour of time. Roadside assistance operator and service tech were great.

Vehicle had to be maintained after truck had been loaded. Because it took so long to get help since nobody maintained the vehicles and tried to give excuses as to why they don’t maintain them, my help had to leave, only leaving a small number of people there to help. We expect so much more from uhaul and their chosen locations. They let us down. We want a partial refund on our rental to remedy this.

I received a message a few days ahead stating that my order was confirmed. Upon arriving, they only had 2 dozen of the 6 dozen moving pads that I ordered. Moving with this amount would have surely left my furniture scratched. I called customer service twice and was not able to get any assistance in finding more. It was only after calling another location myself that the guy there mentioned that the main office would probably have some. An hour and a half and much frustration later I finally had the pads. Had I not found them myself I would have had to postpone or cancel my move. This situation unfortunately turned what could have been a great uhaul experience into one that will leave me not recommending uhaul in the future. This is not an issue of this location but with uhaul itself since their system and lack of customer service over the phone is what caused this issue.

They recommend a renter have their tow vehicle safe inspected...which I did (looked at it from about 50 yards away) and said it was OK. When I went to pick up the trailer my vehicle didn’t have the correct electrical harness connector (small connector). I had to go back home and find an adapter, which luckily I had from pulling a boat trailer before. If he would have looked at my hitch originally he would have seen I only had the large connector on my vehicle.

I dropped the trailer off on Sunday, but they didn't check the yard for new arrivals. I have to come back on Tuesday, take a photo, and note the unit number. I left a note for them and they dealt with it. I have rented and dropped off to this location several times. Generally they are helpful and good to deal with. It's a low budget muffler and auto repair location. It's not at all tidy or inviting on the outside, but they are good people to deal with.

Customer service was great. Just wish the pickup was explained better on line. If the u-haul web page isn't done correctly and the connection at the sight is bad, you must wait for the location to open to get your rental. This made us lose an hour of productive work time.
