I was supposed to have app only contact and it ended up that I had to go in and the place didn't have a dolly, I had to go get that AND I had to pay full price AND get charged for 20miles over my limit. Never again!

it was a hassle, the trucks are parked far away from the actual location, if you use the remote pickup it is an awful experience and takes forever. on top of that, i paid for a moving dolly that i didn’t receive. at the end, it wouldn’t let me dispute that charge either. all in all, stick to an actual u-haul location and don’t use the remote pickup.

karess EI used my credit card to pay here and right the next day there was two fraud charges on my account for $12 and $399 and I know this has to do with using my card to pay at this location. Feel very uncomfortable and concern and God knows what they do with people information and this is very scary. I am just a normal college student on a fixed income and can't afford the fraud on my life. Again, I know for fact has to do with using my card to pay for the car here and as far as the service go it wasn't really great and the gas level was not what they told me. Never be back ever. Beware of this location please.

Judy DCheck in took an hour, causing us to need more time to use the truck but not allowed. Rented online asked for utility truck, didn’t get one. They said I didn’t order it and that they didn’t have one but I was certainly charged for one. Check engine light was on truck.

If you are going to run a business, please make sure that your orders are correct, and you are available to answer customers during listed business hours.
JOSHUA KYour online app failed during the pickup process. I had to call customer support to get the lockbox code so I could get the vehicle key. Another guy next to me in the parking lot had the same problem. Your online app also failed during the return process -- it kept deleting the photos I took of the vehicle. Again I had to call customer service to make sure my checkout process was completed. If you are going to force customers to use mobile apps with no employee on site, please make sure your app is working smoothly.

JUDY WIt took us 45 minutes to actually get the keys to our Uhaul. It took 10-15 minutes for the Uhaul rep to call and verify who I was, and then the line inside was moving SO SLOW...I'm grateful I got the skip the line when we FINALLY get the confirmation that we could get our keys. And then, I only got my Uhaul for 3 hours and 15 minutes bc of how long the process was for me to finally get the keys to the car. There has to be a simpler way to do it.

ROBERTOC TWas given a truck with a check engine light on (was not warned). While driving the low tire pressure light came on and they said ignore it - not sure how someone would know if they actually had a flat tire.

The fuel was literally on the same when received, yet I got charged for that as well. This process was beyond inconvenient- way over priced with zero knowledge. I will never again use a Uhaul.

Terence OWe were really sure where we were supposed to park the U-Haul or put the keys. Luckily another person was looking for them too and by working together we could figure it out. This location was in a strip mall, so maybe add something on the app about where to park it and where specifically the key drop off is located.
Micaela LThe cab had a lot of food crumbs in it to the point of being gross. We only had the truck for a few hours for a local move, but if I'd had to drive this to another city, I would have been really annoyed at how dirty the cab was. In addition to tons of crumbs/chunks of food, it looked like someone had spilled a package of white chocolate chips and no one ever cleaned it up.

Morgan FThe truck we got was filthy with food spilled all over, trash cups, etc. I called and told office and they did offer to get another truck but finding place was hard and we were already late so just took the truck we got as would taken longer to switch out since truck not right next to office and had to drive there. Then the check engine light also came on so truck not clean or maintained well.

Khaled GPretty sure the truck I rented needs to be retired or have a round of maintenance done. The truck has a hard time shifting gears. I went 83 miles and had to put 13 gallons of gas into it so the truck was full like when I picked it up. That’s 6 miles a gallon fuel efficiency. The driver and passenger doors don’t close all the way. The tires in the back of the truck are almost bald. The steering was horrible. I think the power steering is going on the truck as well. I couldn’t back up the truck in one shot into a driveway because the steering was so bad. I had to backup and pull forward 3-4 times to back into a driveway. Driving down the highway the steering was all over the place. Every bump we hit on the highway the truck went in a different direction. The suspension on the truck was very suspect as well. Overall the truck needs to be worked on significantly or even retired. It has 160,000 miles on it so either needs to be maintained better or retired. I was actually concerned that it wouldn’t make the short in town trip once we started on the highway. I normally don’t leave reviews because they aren’t worth my time but feel this one is necessary because the overall truck safety isn’t up to par.

Jason PThe Uhaul I was given was in very poor condition. After loading it up and starting to drive to the new location the truck overheated and the check engine light came on. I sat on hold forever with Uhaul’s customer service trying to get help, in the middle of moving. After a while I finally got ahold of someone who said they would send a service technician to my location. That person showed up after 3 hours of us sitting and waiting. The technician stated there were 29 error codes on the engine, reflecting this truck had not been serviced in some time, yet was still being rented out. Eventually he fixed up the truck and we were able to return it, over an hour after my scheduled rental time ended. Uhaul of course charged me for this overage. Called Uhaul to see what they would do to make up for this hassle, haven’t received a call back yet.
Ashley BI like the the app to return the uhaul. Time is sensitive when moving and this came in very handy. Leave a note when the employee has to leave to check a uhaul.
