The lady tried to give me a different truck, and the truck was very dirty and almost out of gas. When I explained it to the lady she said she wanted me to have a different truck, and she knew the truck was dirty and had pads and a dolly floating around the back. Truck did not drive very well. Very rough. The back was very dirty trash and stuff all over. I cleaned the truck and told the lady upon return.

The customer service is great, but the lack of cleanliness in the office, is greatly missing. The steering wheel was so sticky & dirty, I had to work on it before I even started on the move. The location was very convenient for pick up & I would use it again in the future.

QC Cleanup is a smoke/vape shop. The moving blankets I received smelled of smoke. I returned the blankets to the 5000 Ave of the Cities location. I question why U-Haul changed my rental location from my selected location in Geneseo to QC Cleanup when they could have changed to 5000 Ave of the Cities.

Very friendly and reliable at this location. She also explained the difference in renting and making a lot of stops to renting a smaller truck to load and unload according to gas mileage.

The vehicle clearly hadn't been inspected or taken care of since the last customer dropped it off. There was trash and nastiness in the cup holders, two blankets had been left in the cab, two dollies were loose in the back. Also, I asked to come in to pick up and got an email the day of saying they were closed and I had to do a mobile pickup and drop off. The process was annoying, and when I tried to report that the truck should be cleaned before the next customer, uhaul tried to charge me, even though I said the truck was dirty when we picked it up. This location needs to actually staff their business and inspect their trucks inbetween customers.

My biggest & only complaint, is that the app would not let me check out the truck. I had wait 2 hours for the store to open,because the app would not work. However, the lady there could not have been nicer. While she didn't know much about the app either,she got us checked out as soon as the computer woke up.

Facility smelled of heavy cigarette smoke. Trash and debris all over the office. Cat bed on counter with what looked like mouse droppings on the cat bed. Parking is tight with no assistance to back 26 foot truck blindly out onto busy roadway. No room to turn large trucks around in the parking lot. Attendant did not inspect vehicle with me and I had to come back in to describe previous damage. Truck ran poorly, engine was misfiring, which I reported upon returning. This truck handled poorly and seemed like a chore to drive. Worst u-haul experience I’ve ever had and I’m generally quite forgiving. Sorry for the bad review. I did get the job done though.

Let the customer know you are send the inspection link an hour and a half after they take the truck. And let them know you won't be there for check in so keep your keys to do the mobile check out.

Easy to reserve, was running and warmed up (Feb) when I got there. Truck drove easily. Waiting for me upon return. Excellent service. Yes, there is a cat. I would definitely use her again and recommend to a friend.

Truck leaked fluid in driveway. I had planned on picking up a truck from the Rock Island location but that truck had a mechanical failure too and so my pickup time was delayed.

Truck was filthy inside and out, appliance dolly wasn't in the truck. The truck was a disaster, steering was super lose, brakes weren't good. We had to use pliers to pull the ramp out

The over mobile rental experience was terrible. . 25 minutes just to complete application process. Anothe 30 minutes to pick up the truck which cut into my reserved time and another 20 minutes upon return. The owner came out barefooted and dirty when I leaving asking how I got the truck . ( jets were in the cup holder). Had no idea we even had the truck . Had to show her my rental agreement

I misunderstood the online reservation time and according to the woman working, I was late. She made that very clear in front of multiple other guests. Rather then explaining the issue and working it out at the beginning she was rude and said she gave our truck away. She did have another available, but was having issues with the keys so it was not clean & smelled heavily of smoke. We had to take it due to being on a deadline. She did offer us a dolly and blankets for the confusion.

Not a location issue, but I had to extend my reservation by 2 days. I went to the website to extend and it has a note to call the phone number to make changes to the reservation. I called and was on hold for about 20 minutes when I gave up. The phone message said to use the website to make changes to the reservation. I sent an email from the website and the changes were processed. The website/phone messaging is circular...
