Your APP needs a lot of work. I seem to have trouble with it anytime I use it for checking as well as other problems. It isn’t a good system for a really good company.

I never could get someone to answer the phone and had to leave a message, which they never returned. When I got to the location nobody was there. After knocking and walking away a person down the way asked if I had a reservation which I did. I went down there and she took care of me and got me taken care of. With no problem.

Easy to follow mobile prompts to self check-out. I picked up at 5:30 pm local time and there was no one available to assist if needed.

KIM WAS EXCELLENT!! HER CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS PHENOMENAL. I CALLED PRIOR AND SHE WAS PATIENT AND ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS SHE COULD OVER THE PHONE. WHEN I WENT IN SHE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND THOROUGH. SHE EVEN HELPED ME SAVE MONEY BY PICKING OUT THE RIGHT SIZE. WILL DEFINITELY RENT FROM THEM AGAIN AT THIS LOCATION.

The person was styling hair. She would not check the car dolly in for the return or take the picture. She stated she would get to it later, or I could self-return it using the app. I told her i preferred she did it as i was unfamiliar with this. That was on Saturday 4/8/23 at 10am in the morning. I assumed she would get this done. On Monday 4/10/23 I received a call asking when I was going to return the dolly. Obviously the return was never completed. I called the return location and no one answered, and the voicemail was full. So I downloaded the app and went back to where I left the dolly and self-returned it. I was extremely disappointed by the return location not doing their job for the customer. Very unprofessional. I doubt I will use Uhaul anytime soon or recommend to others.

The woman that handled my reservation did not seem to know what I reserved online, put me down for a round trip when I asked for a one way from SC to MD. Then when she gave me the hand truck it was not the smaller one I reserved, the truck was larger than I ordered and when I asked why the price was considerably higher than the quote from my online reservation, she was really rude about it. I just did not like her demeanor or her customer service skills. It took entirely too long to get our rental.

When picking up truck, inside was left very dirty, uhaul only had 18 miles to E, check engine light was on, died multiple times. We order 2 different dollys and neither was in truck. Will never rent from this location again.

We were told we could drop off here without any extra charge, and then we got emailed from UHaul several days later saying the truck wasn’t returned. I had to email UHaul to confirm return and give them the address and then we were charged $42.20 additional over a week after we returned the truck. Truck was rented at 1/4 full and we returned at the 3/4.

The pickup dealer was really great A++ I would recommend to others that require a U-haul.

They cause me to be late to moving things in a timely manner and they didn’t have the equipment I asked for days beforehand. I got lucky I was able to get everything done before I had to turn the truck in. Than the truck had a driver broken window. It should had been taken out of service to get it fix. I had to dispute charges they brought against me after the reservation so make sure you document everything.

The process was really confusing and someone I didn't know asked me to return the keys. All the process I did online was really useless.

The rental was fine, my experience was not the best because the check-in process took longer than expected and ran into my rental time. I made it back in time to return my rental but the check out process was long as well. After all of that I was overcharged because I don’t understand how a $20 rental turned into 80$ when my time ran over in the parking lot trying to end it all !

The business listed put it down was not open. Asked the hair place next door ( uhaul signage in front parking spot) if they knew where I turn it in. She said just back it up where ever and your done. The trailer was very heavy to life off My vehicle. I guess with the amazing service I had at the pick up location and them helping hook it up. I never imagined I would just unhook myself and drive away with nobody really seeing I left it. There was no Jacks, tire chalks. So I had to lift an empty 1920lbs off my hitch and just drop it to the ground. I called the 1800 number but the wait for over an hour long. Will find and recommend a more helpful drop off location next time.

Store closed early and caused issues with my return

Employee did not have the equipment on hand and I had to run to other locations to get what I needed. The employee did not even over to help. I had to hook up the trailer and then the employee just came out to take a picture as I’d she had done it or showed me how to do it. Finally, the employee tried to up-charge and change my reservation. When I called them out on it they just shrugged. This was a very bad experience with a dishonest location!

The location I made my reservation at was not open. When I got to the other location, they had already given away my truck so they sent me back to the first location to get a bigger truck. When I got there the truck was full of garbage. Long story short I ended up without the truck that I reserved a month in advance.

This location was fine, but it was NOT the location where I booked the truck online and even checked in online for. That was Columbia, SC. But when I showed up to Columbia, there was no truck available, and I was told I needed to go to Sumter. Not what I was needing on moving day!!

Did not agree with the 99 cent per mile. Tank was empty, I added gas and left more gas upon return. I was offed $20 off next visit which I'm not interested and not planning to rent no time soon. I felt it wasn't fair I should have received $20 0ff upon return. I will not rent from this location. I have rented from other u-haul and was not charged .99 per mile for weekend rate. Not satisfied at all. I only had the truck for 3hrs Upon returning the truck, she took the key and said thank-you. I'll email you your bill. So what ever she charged me I had no dispute I thought she would have walk to the u-haul while I was there. Rip Off.

Make sure that when a reservation is made at a certain location that it is fulfilled. Had to use this location because the truck I reserved was not at the location that it was suppose to be

They need more hand trucks and more to choose from. Also to have to out gas in and be charged .99 is a bit much on the customer.
