The location did not walk through with me regards to handing over the truck, truck was filthy dirty in back, I was told when I bring the truck back to location park it outside their gate, put key in orange box, fill tank back to its beginning as to when I got it. Well I did all of the above I got a call 2 days later from location trying to charge me and additional 45.10 plus cleaning fee plus gas plus 44 milage use. Boy was I mad. I received truck shortly after 6pm location requested I return it by 815pm the same night. I returned truck following all the requests mentioned above except I put just a little more gas in it then it started with and I turned it by 6:53pm that same night my home is 2.5 miles from location round trip 5 miles after a long day of in person disputes they finally charged me for 10 miles even after I was charged for 5 of those miles with the rental costs. I proved that the truck was compromised by way of robbery of gas siphoned from tank during its 2 day sitting outside gate and the truck was filthy dirty when I got it my granddaughter slipped on all the dirt in the trucks back. I will not rent from them again.

No one in the place had a clue on how to receive the truck back. I didn't sign anything, they didn't give me anything. they sent my receipt by email with no explanation for the charges.

I've rented here before and I have never had any problems. the young lady at the counter was very professional. and the gentleman who who hooked up the trailer was quick. I prefer this location over other in t oil en who make you wait about 30 minutes just to hook up a trailer. I will definitely be back.

My complaints is they said the gas tank was on 1/8 and if I brought it back on 1/4 they wouldn't charge me. It actually was on empty and I had to get gas on my way home for fear I wouldn't run out. My fault because I should have gone back in and fixed the problem but I was in a hurry and already waited for a long time to get the truc, and my movers were on there way. Gas was $50. Also, the drop off location is unclear. You feel like your leaving it in a illegal parking zone. I was charged for 3 days when I only needed 1. I didn't want to leave it there, especially with the furniture dolly there to be stolen. I'm sure those are very expensive and I didn't want to incur that expence. Lastly, I had 2 $20 coupons that they wouldn't let me use. There were no restrictions or expiration on them. Bottom line, the truck was great. Ran so well, cigarettes smoke was prevalent but I get it. I just feel I

This was the worst experience I've had they didnt give me the right auto transportation plus the person who installed the auto transportation to the hitch did not hook it right I try loading the truck on to it and the auto transportation hit my truck on the back door because it wasn't hooked right to the hitch

Very difficult to know where to take the trailer. I would just some signage to direct where to go. A few buildings and didn’t know if the Uhaul portion was in one or the other

The inside of the truck needed to be swept. The employee offered to do it and we said to let it go, but when dropped off they were going to note it needed to be swept. Also, after loading up and headed to our destination, UHaul texted with a different drop-off location than arranged. We said no, that we wanted Wildrose Station not E. Tehacapi Blvd.. They were nice enough to accept it at Wildrose.

At the drop off location have a line just for uhaul customers because we had to wait on a long line because of the auction. Also it was hard to find a parking because it was full because of the auction and it was raining so it was muddy other than that everything else went smoothly. The staff was helpful and kind.

Here's my beef, the vehicle was not full of fuel when I picked it up in Riverside CA. So when I returned the 20 ft van in Bakersfield with half a tank of fuel they wouldn't pay me for the extra fuel. Yet if I was to return the vehicle low on fuel they would have charged me an inflated price for the fuel. That is not right and it's a way for Uhaul to get free gas. This should be illegal as I believe it is a form of unjust weights. In the future I will not except a vehicle unless it is full of fuel.

U-Haul rentals are not the primary income for this business so even though I pre-ordered and completed online pick up I still had to wait about 20 min to get to counter then another 30 minutes before truck was pulled around and the correct appliance dolly checked out to me could be located. The appliance dolly was rolled through gravel & mud before being loaded into truck. That combined with the rainfall made a muddy mess when we removed it for use. Drop off location was near our new house so that was convenient but even though I downloaded app, created a password I still wasn’t able to log in to process return. It was around 6 am & we had to leave for husband to make it to work on time. I called the number provided and was able to speak with service rep who kindly reported that it was returned but time for return check in is 12:24 and it was dropped off before 7 am.

I would not recomened Uhual to anyone after this. I kept the truck for a few extra days and we ended up getting calls and text that you reported it stolen. Then the location we got it from had been closed. I ended up just leaving it next to a closed fence. How could you threaten us like that? Really? Stolen ? I rent cars all the time and keep them longer. I was so afraid while driving the truck that I was going to go to jail for GTA. !! How can that be a good experiences I plan on sharing my experience on social media to see who else has been harassed by Uhaul/

Mileage and gas level printed on the paper were not accurate (mileage off by 2 miles and gas off by 1/8 of tank), had to ask for corrections. Vehicle had to be rinsed after I complained about the amount of dust on the truck.

This place is organized to be an auction house, not a rental dealer. I had a long wait because only one employee knew how to process rentals and he was not easily found. I think all staff should have this capability. The vehicle tow trailer I rented was 50% rust and squeaked and groaned a lot - it should be out of service.

Rented on a Tuesday, was Never told by any of the staff that they are closed on Wednesdays or how to return the truck when the business is closed. After a few laps around the block I was told where to go by an employee thru the fence and to use the key drop box. Then I'm notified by Uhaul the day after I returned the truck that the truck was LATE, I tired calling Public Auction on Thursday and nobody answered the phone.

I was charged an additional 27 miles until I argued that the number was wrong and showed a picture I took at the beginning of the day. After that there were still some issues with getting the final price correct. The entire process ended up taking about an hour.

This is absolutely the worse run rental place! It is fine to have a drop off key box for return rentals. However, they do not check this often enough and charge for the "extra day." Please correct the charge for this and make sure that I get refunded the $68.00 dollars--as noted below. I returned the truck on 10/27/18 at ~1230pm at 4400 Rosedale Hwy. However, the staff at this location did not check the returns until the following day at 1030am. Since my contract is for return at 10/28 by 8am I was charged for another day and another day of insurance. I have called and waited on hold at this location for 10 minutes without any representative to help me. Please correct this charge and make sure that I get refunded the $68.00 dollars.

I was originally scheduled to pick up the truck and auto transport at Brimhall Mini Storage. When I arrived, I was told my truck and auto transport were waiting at a different location. I was very confused until I looked through my emails & texts & discovered that I had received a notice from U-Haul a few days prior, stating that the pick-up location was changed to the Public Auction site. Unfortunately, when I initially read the message I did not realize the location had changed and just assumed the message was to confirm my order. A phone call alerting me of the change or a bold "ATTENTION" in the message might have prevented the mix-up.

Customer service was very slow. There was no benefit from down loading the app - pointless. Inside the vehicle was dirty/dusty and I could not see outside the front windows. When brought to the attention of employee, he stated the condition of the vehicle is that way because of the (dusty) lot.

Inside of van trailer had a fair amount dust/dirt on the floor. Had to return to site bc the dolly that I had rented was not loaded into trailer.

I arrived at the location to pick up the trailer and it took a while to realize where the office was because it wasn't clearly defined on the huge property with multiple buildings.. I told the girl at the counter my name and reservation number, gave her my DL#, etc. When she asked for my pickup's license plate # I had to walk out to check it. When I returned she was helping other people who came to register for an auction and she sent me to the back of the line. When I finally made it to the counter again she started everything from the beginning as if I hadn't already been there. She did not know what she was doing so after starting over three times her manager came and started the process over from the start once again. I explained my reservation was completed online and they said it didn't matter because they need to do it all over every time. It was extremely time consuming and frustrating. Definitely the worst experience I've had renting from U-Haul. The trailer was great, but the pickup experience was terrible.

The guy Loren was extremely kind and very helpful with questions and situations. He understood my situation and was happy to find a solution for me. Loren’s customer service was exceptional, as was the rest of the staff that helped me when I dropped off the truck. This is my permanent U-Haul location from now on because of the excellent team they have on hand.

The gentleman called me about the extra charge for the mileage and I completely understand his obligation being that it would come out of his pocket if I did not pay the fee for mileage. However traffic is not helpful at all when he called them to ask them to waive the fee. The people to drop location was very helpful and apologetic
