Our uhaul would not start at first when we picked it up. This problem continued until we dropped it off. Cost us day of a rental we didn't need and we still had to pay for it.Tyranieshalateri M.
The truck that I ordered online was not available when I got to the location someone should have informed me before getting there. So communication is the key. I declined insurance and was still charged for it and I was charged 7.89 for gas when I filled the gas up before returning the truckTremaine M.
Contract was all wrong. Asked for one way. Charged 190.00 for wrong dropoff. Also input my driver's license information in and said my ex wife Andrea Freeman was the authorized driver! Also charged 80.00 for 2 extra days when the contract clearly states 3 days! Feeling really taken advantage of by U-Haul and the lady at the location that I got the truck from clearly didn't pay attention to me when I went in to get the truck or to the information she input! This makes us never want to use U-Haul again and never recommend to anyone. Very very poor customer service! Taking money from a disabled woman who is on a fixed income. And charging her for things that were not supposed to be charged.Andrea F.

The trunk/storage space floor was dirty filled with debris and needed to be cleaned out. The cabin was pretty clean. I was also charged a $14 safe move fee, when I selected the free no coverage. I emailed uhaul to please remove the charge but have not heard back yet. I also did not like seeing a hidden environmental fee of $1 and rental tax fee of $3. Would rather know all fees involved up front.Michael G.

My issue is with the website. My confirmation email had a different location listed as compared to when I logged into the sight. Not sure why this was, I even had my wife double check the email to make sure I was looking at it correctly. That was a bit confusing.Gregory M.

The location required additional personal information (family member and phone number) without a valid reason. I would not recommend this location unless they bring assistance in lifting a 6 x 12 foot trailer and connecting it to a trailer hitch. My goal was to rent from PS Food Exxon 600 Powder Springs St Marietta, GA and deliver to Uhaul in Garner NC. Prior to the close of business I called Uhaul and attempted to change the drop off location to the same pick up location : PS Food Exxon 600 Powder Springs St Marietta, GA 30064 and be charged for a local vs an out of state rental. This was denied by Uhaul.Isaac F.

Every time we get a uhaul it is a huge problem and mess. Either the vehicle isn't available on time or at all, and customer service takes forever to get connected to. Will be using Penske going forward. Not worth the stress and time suck anymore.Sara K.
The back of the truck was filthy, dozens of cigarette butts and crushed Fritos were in the back. (I have plenty of pictures). Location did not feel safe at all. It appeared as though there has been a homeless person sleeping in the back of the truck. Didn't come with the dolly, guy that checked me out was argumentative about it, insisting that he took it off the bill. My cell service was slow and the receipt wouldn't load in store. He would not give me a printed receipt. After I left, it finally loaded and he did NOT take the dolly off the bill and charged me for it. I ordered the truck and moving supplies online, it was supposed to be at the S Cobb street location, my truck pick up was transferred to another location but my moving supplies were not, so I still had to go the the second location. Thankfully the S Cobb St location was able to give the dolly that I had already been charged for.stefany S.

Great experience. I rented the largest 26 footer. I was worried about driving it, but once I had it on the interstate and got comfortable with it, I had a blast driving it fully loaded. And yes, I drove from Georgia to Kentucky, over the mountains. It handled just like a small passenger vehicle, and thats no joke! My only negative comment is that it was a very expensive rental, but cheaper doing it myself than paying a company to do it. Overall, it was a pleasure doing business with Uhaul. I will definitely use them in the future. And if you are already a good driver, and you know how to use your mirrors and watch your turning, the largest 26 footer is very easy to drive. I worried myself to death over it, but I shouldn't have because they really are nothing to drive(and no, I am not paid by Uhaul to say this, lol). If you are still worried about it, but need a driver, look me up and give me a holler......lol. Be sure to rent your vehicle ahead of time, just to make sure you will have the size vehicle you need.James W.

You should not contract with the exxon station on powder springs CT in Marietta, GA. My whole experience was completely terrible, and now I do not ever plan to use UHaul again. Completely disgusting experience. I would never ever recommend this to anyone.Anthony P.
Next time the store could actually be open so I can get my reservation! I arrived at the location only to find out they were closed for the day! I've yet to hear anything from anyone even after calling customer care on 8/15/2022! The whole situation was a major inconvenience and I'll never use this location again!Jami M.

I don't know if it was Uhaul or the location but my reservation was all screwed up. The hours that uhaul have for the location is not accurate. I had to find a SAFE place to park and wait for an hour which put my day behind for using the truck. When I complained, they said my reservation time had been moved. Survey asked about the location that I rented from. 600 powder springs was awesome. I stay 5 minutes away from where I stay. I would have been extremely happy with the service and would have given 5 stars had I not had to go to two other locations before hand. Then only to be sent 5 minutes from my house . My reservation was for 1230. After having to travel to 3 different locations by the time I was given a truck it was 145. So no I was not happy with the serviceWykenia C.

This place added an extra day They waited for the 24 hr period and then checked the truck in. They charged for a dolly which was not in the truck. If you need to rent from U-Haul I would suggest you don't rent from this place.aaron S.

The issue I had was with the App not working correctly. It uploaded some pics but others it wouldn't load which stopped me cold in the process. This happened both at the beginning and again when I was trying to return the truck. Luckily the location was staffed and they were able to manually complete the rental process. NO CLUE WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE IF IT WAS AN UNSTAFFED LOCATION......Russell B.

Horrible service i arrived at my location to pick up truck and equipment . I sat at the location for 3.5 hours to receive incorrect information and no key to my truck i went through horrible things and little to no communication ! It was cold rainy and dark at the uhaul place ! The picture of the location online is incorrect it doesn't exist . I'll never book there again !Jordan D.

I will never rent from this location again. The attendant closed my contract late, charging me an extra day and the. Customer service agent I spoke to (after waiting 30 minutes to talk to) had an attitude because I wanted a refund for 100% of the extra day I was charged. If I can avoid it, I won't be using uhaul ever again.DONALD A.

The comments I have are on the truck. This location was fine. The truck would downshift (dynamic braking?) fairly dramatically when applying the brakes. It did this once on the interstate and the tach. went up to about 4500RPM. Needs to be checked. It also appears that the hauling compartment leaks. It rained for most of the trip and I never saw a leak from above, but the floor was wet when we were unloading. One edge of a mattress was soaked. The leak must be from the road...DAVIDKEITH B.

The person in charge was not prepared to assist on the rental. The person I talked to on the phone at UHAUL, gave a rate of 89$ and when I arrived at the locates above mentioned, I was charged total different amount. At the time of pick-up I told the representative that I needed rental for 24 hrs because we pickup Food for distribution from the food bank and it varies what time we get truck unloaded. She told me I was fine, she didn't have to change it, just bring the truck back within 24 hrs and I wouldn't be charged. I later found out she never made the change, only had the truck for 5 hours and I had to rush to get it back because someone was waiting. Proper training for employees because I was inconvenienced greatly without getting my pickup completed.Margaret P.

Air conditioning didn't work in truck that was reserved for us. They did have another truck which had air conditioning & the gentleman offered to let us switch to that truck. I arrived 3 days before the rental agreement said I had to return. I do not recall entering a return date, but because I was three days early, the drop off location was not expecting me. Again, the self return via website did not work at all for me, but the staff was able to assist. Took longer than it should, but the staff were very helpful.Louis L.

I did all the work, taking picture of the gas and odometer reading and still charged $12.00 more than my invoice amount. My gas was more upon return than when I left. I was forced to go to three different locations fir a truck. I hired workers with a deposit that was forfeited due to lateness. Paid over $100.00 in gas to be charged $27.00 and I put more in than I originally received. Very upset with the service along with having to complete the job with my children and I didn't finish until 1:30 am because the storage had to emptied and clean by Monday which was the following day. Really upset and disappointed with the service.CHIQUITA G.
The location is a gas station and that is their main focus. When I went to pick up the equipment I was not given the attention that a $500 transaction merits. The first vehicle was offered had issues with the transaction. Was given another and had less then half a tank. Attendant was rude and called me a motherfucker to another customer when he thought I was not around . He had me complete the reservation and summit my credit info and license through his personal phone!!! Had no choice since my original pickup location was changed. The truck was not clean had soda spilled in the cup holders, the right front wiper blade almost flew off when used halfway through the trip. As a company uhaul is decent, but when you sublet or subcontract it sucks . Plus given the current gas fiasco could not take a risk on running low so had to put way more gas before returning the vehicle just to not be stuck without finding a place to fill to the level I was given.JOSE M.
