My truck was unable to adjust the passenger mirror (non powered) and would not move manually. My return time was moved up by 2 hours only giving me 3 hours to complete my move, this is different from what I was told over the phone. According the contract I have 24 hours rental at the advertised rate, but yet I pay for the full day to accommodate so that you can rent our the truck again. U haul is not the only choice as some may think, renting a truck should be a hassle free experience and I should not have had to do my own leg work on my pick up and drop off and it changed 3 times, if I kept things the way they were I would have had to drove and extra 40 km to drop off truck to accommodate U haul and I get to pay the extra KM's with out even offered a discount? And with COVID still looming they trucks should be wiped down after every customer, the truck I was in probably has not seen a cleaning rag since coming off the line. For god sake at least wipe down the steering wheel dash and door panels, make an effort instead of sitting back and watch the customers money come in. I work in an industry where we have about 180 trucks and they get cleaned every shift, not only does this clean the truck is shows a level of respect for the next operator of the vehicle. Larger companies have gone bankrupt when customers decided to go elsewhere, I will gladly pay more money for a superior experience. This rating is not specific to the location as the lady there was very nice, but I do feel the information she had was different that what I was told over the phone, unless this is a tactic to ensure that I get the truck back to give them a little more breathing space for the next customer, in turn this added stress to my already stressful day of moving. U haul should consider pro-rating the day if customers return the vehicle within the business day, Feeling a little gouged having to pay for a full day and rushed to return.Tom L.

All of the pictures prompted by you yesterday were answered, then the answers would default to accept when I would select decline. Corporate could see all of the pictures I had submitted when I phoned them as well as confirmed the gas having been 3/8 at the beginning of our rental. We were also charged for a dolly that was not ever provided. Our rental was for 530-730. We did leave until 630 and after trying to turn it we couldn't leave until 830. So our rental was delayed by 2 hours.Holly C.
It wasn't the location that we were unhappy with, unfortunately it was the reservation system. We had booked two vans days prior to the reservation, only to find out that instead of picking both the vans up at the 7 heaven food store (as was in the reservation) we ended up having to drive all the way to spruce grove to pick up the second van at a different location and then same for the drop off? It was a big waste of our time and a big inconvenience...We booked both vans to be picked up from same location...and ended up having to drive way out of town for the second van in our reservation.Sylvester B.
I would recommend that a person books directly with the uhaul facility and not through your central booking because you don't care if people get what they reserve. We are just a number and you mess with peoples lives. We don't rent trailers for fun, we rent them generally to move and your central office booking is horrible with no consideration for real people. The actual locations for pick up and drop off were excellent. The central office booking was horrible.Arden V.

Uhaul changed the equipment I rented and the drop off location. A location shouldn't be listed as a drop off if the location can not accommodate equipment and equipment shouldn't be eligible to be rented unless it's available and giving 2 days notice isn't enough time to prepare that the equipment you need isn't available when you're moving.Chad H.

Pincher Creek U Haul closed 2 months ago My contact stated this as a drop off site. Also when I ordered the trailer online I could also choose Pincher Creek. Lethbridge was to far out of the way, google maps said there was one in Ft McLeod and in Chlairsholm but there were no U Haul trucks there so I went to Calgary The attendant immediately said I would have to pay even after I explained. After a call she had with U Haul all was okay. Other than extra miles, time it was almost an inconvenienceScott T.

I don't think it's necessary to be rude because two of us walked in together. I ordered the trailer rental, but my sister was driving the truck that would be pulling it, so I needed her in with me to give all her information. Even after telling we were together, she insisted only one customer in the building at a time. Because I ordered the trailer, I was the only one allowed in. I had to go outside three times to ask my sister questions. I won't pick up there again even though it's closer to me.Dale S.
Online service. The store front service was excellent. The online access for pickup and delivery was beyond poor, and a built in failure. I arrived at the said time, walked through the check in, and the Google-location access from the store front was obsolete. Completely voiding the earlier arrival and pickup. Having to wait for the storefront to open at 9am anyway and do the entire process all over, as I'd done myself, at 8am. Pushed my schedule an hr behind. And not to leave unmentioned, it was completely downpouring rain, thankfully mid summer. But no the less. Very very. Very. Poor. Online service. Upon drop off. (2.5hrs earlier than expected, and confirmation was not possible in person to person, nor would the online access confirmed, voicemail and personal photography needed. Putting the onus on me, the customer to guarantee myself an adjusted bill, which is ridiculous. Not my job. Not my position to need to do. Cost me time. Labour. And trust with uhaul overall and may still cost me those 2.5 hrs in CND dollars. If the store front owners do not acknowledge without confirmed check in. Therefore the race to drop earlier. Was for absolutely nothing. Your entire online check in services, or the store front owners online accessibility. Needs to be completely. Overhauled. Uhaul. Take it to heart.JAMES G.

We have reserved a 26 foot van on line to be picked up at this location. Our pickup time was 9am. The owners of the store did not arrive to open until 9:35am. There were 2 other customers that had also arrived for a 9am pickup and had to wait. Once we could get in they did not have our reservation in their system. I was not happy but luckily they did have the van available for rent. Everything was good with the van but I did not need the added stress on picking up the unit. I would not recommend this location to any one.Scott S.

When the computers are all busy the customer has to wait for the computers to keep refreshing and it takes time away from the customer. I waited a half an hour to get my U-Haul it was the computers not the lady doing my serviceKAREN B.

Very unorganized. Unable to process reservation over phone, had to go in person. On pick up day was told to come in 15 minutes after their opening time to allow them to get ready. SO i did. It was very busy and they did not have enough staff to accomodate the volume. Your U-Haul software or this locations equipment was acting up causing further delays.NICK H.
