Everything about this experience was horrible. There was something wrong with the reservation system, forcing me to go through the whole system multiple times in the freezing cold, finally having to create a whole new account multiple times for no reason. There was nobody present at 10.30 AM on a weekday. The vehicle was in super rough shape and sounded like it was going to die the whole time. At the end I was overcharged a ridiculous amount due to incorrect mileage determination by Uhaul. I was promised I would be contacted by uhaul afterwards about the mileage and safety. That did not happen. Worst uhaul experience of my life, bar none.

Maybe include that the location the person is renting from will check you in and out. ( If the business is open) This way you won't have to use the app. Also, it seemed like too much information and too many emails for such a simple process.

Don SAfter hours drop off was a time consuming disaster due to the UHAUL app not the drop off location itself. My active reservation "not found"/"no active reservations". Multiple calls for assistance with closing out the reservation. LOTS of wasted time. And defense NOT my first problem with the UHaul app. VERY frustrating

Veronica SI returned the truck around 1:30 pm on Saturday. They did not give me the receipt of truck return and told me that I will get an email soon. When I called around 4:30 pm, the person said he is too busy to close my contract but I don't need to worry. I had to call U-Haul next day morning since I still did not get return receipt. Person from central U-Haul connected me to the return facility. The person there initially could not find my return and asked me questions which made me really nervous. Finally he found my contract and closed it. But the entire experience was stressful because I had no record of truck return. This must be changed. The customer needs to get receipt immediately for his/her peace of mind.

Samantha TI'm not exactly sure where this issue lies, but the truck we picked up at this location caused a lot of problems for our move. We originally rented a 15 x 15 truck because that's the amount of space we needed for the move and we really wanted a truck with a ramp. Instead we were given a 10 x 10 with no ramp. Additionally, when we picked up the truck, it had a 1/4 tank of gas which is very frustrating and caused issues for us as well. For some reason, whatever pump we used, the model would instantly flip off when we engaged it to fill the truck. I think it's also very frustrating that I received almost no discount compared to the price of the 15 x 15 that I was originally supposed to rent. This should have been a simple move, but became very complicated since we were forced to downsize the truck and couldn't fit all of the items I was planning on moving into it. Due to this issue, I don't foresee recommending or using U-Haul again in the future. The only reason why I am giving this a 2 instead of a 1 star is because the front desk worker was really friendly and enjoyable to talk with.

Terry LWhen I arrived to pick up my 9' cargo van which I had reserved the night before, I was told no vans were currently available. I don't really understand why that happened since I was able to place a reservation on one. Luckily as I was leaving the owner ran out to tell me a van was on its way back, so I was able to continue on with my move as planned, albeit about 15 minutes behind schedule. I was about to contact uhaul and demand my $50 guarantee for my reservation. Overall a less than favorable experience, but it worked out in the end I guess, through sheer luck.
Tristan WPpl at the store were helpful but prior to that U-Haul called me and requested if I want a truck longer than 24 hrs I have to pick it up there. Once I got there until told me the truck wasn't available. Thankfully someone from the store showed up and they ended up having a truck I could use but I won't not go back to this location and risk that.

NICOLAS RIt was a little hard to figure out where to go - I didn't actually see a sign that said "Priority Tires & Service." But once I got inside, the man behind the counter was very helpful, friendly, and kind.
David CAVOID AT ALL COSTS! Rental location rented me a van in terrible condition, they tossed me the keys and said "it's one of those vans on the street out there". Got to the van, and two of the tires were low on air, and the van smelled horrible. Had to fill up the tires myself, and roll down the windows on the way to air it out. About a week after I returned it, I get an email that I'm being charged for $1,600 more, because they said I put over 3,500 miles on the rental (I drove it less than 80 miles in total). Biggest headache and Uhaul is very slow to remove the charge. Abolutely do NOT use this location, and think twice before using Uhaul in general.

Joseph GI had to go to three different 'U-Haul Drop Offs' but none of them were being serviced. This was the very last one I tried. What should've been a 30 minute drop off, became 90 minutes because of the how complicated it was.
Jacques CI did the check in process and pick up process on the mobile app and was given a truck number, but the location gave me a different truck number and now charged me on another different truck number with all incorrect information like fuel, miles, and drop off time. I was overcharged and now not sure if I can get my money back. The location didn't give me any paperwork or confirmation email when they gave me a different truck which was not on file. No paperwork or confirmation at drop off either. Horrible experience. I returned the truck with full fuel, same day drop off and only drove around the city of Chicago, and they charged me wrong truck number, 97 miles, 25 gallon of fuel and the receipt's dropoff time is the next day morning which are all wrong. Please if someone sees this review, do something and improve.

Kailyn EThis location is highly unorganized and deceitful. The rep who did my check in did not clarify any additional charges. Once he sent the contract, he quickly rushed us out the door to get the keys and the van. Did not even give us a moment to review it. I noticed when I got my receipt that we had been charged for insurance without ever confirming we wanted it. They also did not properly report the fuel at the start of my reservation. According to their receipt, we drove 29 miles and used 5 gallons of gas. I would never recommend someone go here for a uhaul unless they triple check all documentation, vehicles conditions and charges before accepting the vehicle.
