I've used U-Haul several times over the past 30 years and this was by far the worst experience ever. First off I couldn't make my reservation online due to the amount of days I need to rent the truck. So I went to a local dealership for the rental process, because of the length of truck I needed he said he would complete the process for me and a U-Haul representative would contact me which never happened. He also put in the wrong dates that I needed the rental for, I needed it to start on a Friday and rent for 3 days he put in a start day of Saturday. On my part I didn't that I needed to confirm my reservation which would have been for the wrong days, anyway the reservation got canceled. So it took U-Haul 2 more try's to get me the truck I needed which was finally completed on the day I needed the truck but the down side was that I had to travel farther to pick the rental up about 30 miles round trip which they charged me for. I don't have any issues with the location of the rental other than it was way out of my way especially when there are 4 dealers with a 4 mile radius of where I needed the truck. I was doing a local move of 2.3 miles.Jerold B.
