LINDSAY WTrailers with a dual axle have a heavy tongue. I have noticed that it is difficult to connect by yourself and you use or need a second person or a hydraulic jack. I am not sure why these tongs do not have at least a hand crank jack to assist and connecting to a vehicle. if my 25 foot boat has it why don’t you have a hand crank on this type tongue?

tristan eDrop off location was changed to this address at pick up. I was billed for having extra miles when I was required to drop off at this location which is the "extra miles". Driveway Access was not clear to pull in the truck. Storage buildings, vehicles and semi-trucks in the way of pulling into drive. Attending didn't ask any questions or say anything to me. To improve quality of uhaul, stop allowing extra charges to be made by drop off locations. Due to your commission payments to every ihaul location, drop offs of trucks always add on extra charges even when false to gain a commission. This has happened more than once. I took photos of the odometer and gas gadge to prevent these extra charges on false alligations.

They made our very stressful situation go a bit smoother with the kindness and consideration for our circumstances. They gave us great rental advice, explained all the details thoroughly and went over the equipment clearly so that I could understand it’s use and operation for a safe journey . I would recommend them and have to anyone I meet. If ever we are back in their area we plan on stopping in to say hi.

tiffany cI am giving this one star because I filled the truck where it needed to be, but the business wasn’t open on time and there was a gate locked on a busy one-way road, so I had to keep driving around and calling until he got there (15 mins late) and therefore, the gas went to literally a millimeter below the required gage level and I was forced to pay and extra $15. Again, I will never use U-Haul again.

Christopher PMy original order was for a truck on New Bern Avenue in Raleigh. Arrived and no one at location. When I called, they said the truck there wasn’t working. Drove 50 miles to Rocky Mount to pick up a 20” truck. I originally needed a 10’ truck. Huge mess. Seems U-Haul doesn’t have enough smaller trucks in their lineup. I bet between scheduling and trying to get customer service, I was on the phone for than 3 hours total. That’s not been my experience renting U-Haul in the past. Very disappointed.

ANGELA EThere were some screws in the door handle and when I grabbed it one of them stabbed into my hand and I was bleeding everywhere… might just wanna double check on this before the next person rents. Otherwise no issues and I got it on very short notice.

DEREK BI ordered utility equipment and no blankets but no fault of this place I had 5 different locations to pick up a truck and it was a terrible experience except for the lady in Lynchburg Virginia. She was very nice and Charles in Colonial Heights Virginia. The guy at this location isn't at fault.

Jeannette BWe needed a 26 foot truck and it was not there when we arrived. INstead we were offered a 20 foot truck, which I took because I thought I had no choice. However, Lori in your home office came to our rescue with a 26 foot truck just 10 minutes away. We swapped trucks and the new location could not have been more helpful. So, despite a delay, we got the truck we needed and it performed wonderfully.
