The trailer was clean but there were trailer running lights that were not working on the side and rear of the trailer. This needs to be fixed.

Getting the vehicle was an ordeal. U-Haul changed me to this location and a "web check-in" that wasn't set-up properly. The site was not expecting me but luckily showed up an hour later and I got it. Manager at site was awesome - not impressed with call centre.

When I picked up the tow dolly to go with the truck I also rented, the lights were not working and was overcharged, I did not get my equipment when I got there, it took an hour and a half, this put me 4 hours behind on my right schedule I already had very disorganized and poor communication throughout this rental company, very disappointed and want to be reimbursed for my overcharges. Employees should know what they are doing.

When you book your truck it should be ready for you when you get there, I should not have waited an hour and half to get my truck, the truck was not clean, the engine sounded like it was going to explode, the seats smelt up the cab of the truck, there was just enough gas in the truck to get to the gas station and the truck was extremely hard on gas, I was overcharged on both my truck and trailer and am having extreme difficulty getting ahold of some to get reimbursed, the employee had no idea what he was doing and was still half asleep, when the employee called to see what to do the lady was extremely rude and said I should know what I'm getting charged. When I told her what it was supposed to be she told the employee to charge me and I would be reimbursed by her end. All this put me 4 hours behind in my time as I was on a tight schedule.

The location was not open for hours stated, and nobody was at the location for any type of transaction. We waited 2.5 hours with multiple issues and was re embirsed and then still charged the full amount!! I will never use U-Haul again because of this experience!

The whole experience was an absolute nightmare. Booked a trailer and was sent a message the day before stating that the pickup location had been changed to an hour and half away from the original pickup. Had to cancel move and booked a truck for the next week. Called to confirm truck on the day of pickup and was told I better get down there right away because the truck was being transferred and we would lose it. Ran down and paid for the truck. On moving day when it got dark, we could not see the road because one of the headlights were blown and the other had been pointed to the center of the road. Had no choice but to drive the truck like that as it was already loaded and we had already had to cancel our move the week before. Called customer service the next morning and told them about all the troubles and was told we would be compensated and the GM would call me back with 3 days. Waited a week and a half and called them back as I received no return phone call. Was told there should have been a 25 dollar credit applied. 25 bucks for all this trouble, what an insult!!!! It cost us a lot more than this in wasted time alone. Absolute worst service I have experienced ever.

The trailer smelled of paint thinner. U -Haul will do nothing about that .. if the equipment smells .. this was my worst experience with U-haul and I have use U-haul like 5 or 6 times
