This uhaul location went above and beyond everything I would expect. I had a double front tire blowout on my jeep being towed by motorhome. The owner brought me a car dolly, a hitch bar and ball and helped me load jeep. Unbelievable service you dont see much anymore. Felt more like a friend helping a friend than a business.

The last two trucks I have rented from different areas both smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. I traveled 1300 miles both times and it was almost unbearable with the migraine headache the smell caused. Other than that trucks were clean and ran well.

Nothing comes to mind, we returned the 15' truck back to the original location we picked it up from. Easy, simple and we appreciate the southern hospitality.

Mark was fantastic. The trailer was ready and clean. Mark had a great attitude and was very helpful in connecting the trailer to my truck. He checked everything to make sure all the lights worked and all the chains were properly connected. He knows his job and knows what to do and keeps a positive attitude. Fantastic man and a strong hand shake. I would recommend anybody use him to rent a u haul from.

Absolutely highly recommended, Mr. Mark D' U-Haul guy is fantastic, highly recommended, friendly and helped to get a better quote, even offered extra hours no charge, I got the truck ahead of the day II suppose to get it, that gave me extra hours to load and unload. I will rent again in few days

I had reservation for over a week at The Cubby Hole in Longview Tx... upon arrival they had rented my trailer out to the man in front of me. They then sent me all over Longview looking for a trailer from other U-Haul dealers. After 2 hrs I finally found one in Carthage and got it but if I could give my overall experience a review with U-Haul it would be one star. I had family and friends waiting for almost 3 hrs to get a trailer that I had reserved for over a week.

Our rental which we had reserved for 2 weeks was rented out Friday before our Saturday rental and we were then sent to Carthage, Tx fifty miles away to pick up our truck. The owner was very nice, but rented us a piece of crap truck with a severe exhaust problem causing you to drive with window down to disippate carbon monoxide. Headlight was out and check engine light was on. When truck was returned the owner said the truck should have never been rented. Very disappointing experience!

Seeing as how this is 1 of 2 U-Haul locations in Carthage that I know of. It was a much better experience than last weekend. The only hassle was that he called us before it was due back which I felt was too much. The truck was great and I would much rather return to this location than the last one.

I cannot think of a single suggestion for improvement at this location. The service I received was efficient, exemplary, and extremely accommodating!! Mark made himself and his service available as needed, without restrictions of time of day, or regard for the holidays. He worked with me and my situation, above and beyond what he should have to. He was very cheerful, patient, and took great care to make sure the equipment was safe and secure. I truly appreciate the service I received and will recommend him and his Uhaul location. Thank you!

I got a call from the drop off location just before 10 am on Monday, it was not due to be returned until 9 am on Tuesday. The man demanded to know when the truck was coming in. I called my son, woke him up, so he drove to the drop off location and told the man that he would drop it off the next day. I did not appreciate the tone of voice he was using when he called me the day before it was supposed to be turned in.

In all ways, this has been a great experience. The truck was clean and performed perfectly. It was an easy process to pick up the truck and the owner was so cooperative and easy to deal with. Great, great, experience.

The owner helped us find a truck after the other place in town had reserved a truck for us and then let someone else have it. It was an emergency type situation because we had help coming from Oklahoma for two days. The owner was extremely halpful and the truck was spotless. We wish to thank him for all his help in finding a truck at the last minute that we could pick up in Carthage.
