For the vehicle I rented (TM1770N), please look into cleaning the driver's cabin, repairing the seat covering, and checking the engine. When I picked up the vehicle, it smelled really musty, which will concern future drivers for this vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle was unable to start at one point, which required me to call roadside assistance, adding almost an hour of more time to my move.

The no insurance policy should cover the vehicle damage uhaul should be responsible for that. A persons Insurance covers an accident not damage that the vehicle undergoes if it breaks down while the person renting it is using it.

I saw the same Uhaul I rented get dropped off when I arrived for my pick up time and it was not cleaned out or sanitized. The person who worked there just handed me sanitizing wipes and said that they leave it up to the customers to clean up because they don't know if anyone is allergic, which is a terrible excuse. Do not recommend.

There was just a concerning issue that was resolved. When I got into the van there was a light that stated an oil change was needed in the van. I left Sam the owner know, he assured e it was ok to drive the van. It was spotless. Extremely clean and the staff was very friendly. Great place to rent from.

Pick up was not an issue. Pain was finding a truck on time and screw-up and lack of customer service to help to find one near my place and confirming it. It was very painful process, right hand didn't know what left hand is doing. No collaboration of any one whatsoever!

The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the fact that U-Haul could not keep good track of the reservation. I made a change to the reservation and went to Concord location, and the service was horrible, the lady at the desk did not make any effort to try to remedy the situation. Thank God for the Walnut Creek location in Ygnacio, the gentleman was courteous, professional and very welcoming. He made the experience a pleasure. What he did for U-Haul was a service recovery for my bad experience the day before.

Not necessarily the fault of this location but U-Haul was the worst experience ever during any project. I reserved two large trucks. Had confirmation on both but did not end up with either. This while flying down from Portland, OR for the rentals. Needless to say, this left me scrambling.

Improve your ridiculous website which allows to do everything literally online and reject most off-line. I book uhaul 2 weeks ago and get notice that my order was cancelled 3 hrs before picking up the uhaul. That is preposterous and totally unacceptable.

The fuel level shown on the form I signed on the rental agreement indicated the tank was 3/4 full but it was actually only 1/8 full. It was easily resolved but it would help if it were verified by the rep to begin with. Apart from that, service was very positive and courteous. I recommend this location.

Employee informed me the night before that my rental van would not be available but that a 10' truck would be provided to me at the same price. I appreciated the heads up. Flexibility on a later return time was also appreciated.

After following the directions on your website, I walked up to turn in the key. Instead, I found a printed sign saying I had to move the vehicle into the alley behind the store. PostalAnnex was packed with people so I just put my keys on the counter and left.

We didn't ask about cleaning the uhaul because of Covid And upon returning the truck we were told there is no cleaning! We were highly disappointed and regret not bringing our own supplies other than a mask! The truck should have been clean by management during this Covid time...no excuses

The gas was under half filled when we got it and when we went to return the app made us put more than half, and then charged us more for mileage. Return instructions for postal annex Walnut Creek were not intuitive. Drop off seems to be up front according to the app, keys on back side of building. Confusing sign to park out back, but app said to park where we were. We left it according to the app.

I originally reserved a truck in a different location with a pick up time of 7 am. I received an email changing the pick up location and time which required that I change the time my moving helpers were to show up. I didn't appreciate that. I reserved a furniture dolly and they didn't have one when I picked up the truck. I didn't appreciate this.

This location is NOT okay! My reservation required me to return the truck before 7am on a Monday morning, and we were doing the remote drop off as well as pickup. We went on Sunday afternoon to return the truck to the location. We completed the steps on the app and completed the process, with the final message being to make sure the truck was locked and drop the keys in the lock box. However, we went to the box and it was broken, looks like it had been pried open and basically destroyed. There was a hand written note saying it was broken, and asking to return trucks during business hours. There was a separate sign on the business saying this month's business hours are M-F from 10am to 4pm. This wouldn't allow me to even turn in the truck during business hours, as it had to be returned by 7am. We spent about an hour on the phone with customer service, and were told to keep the key and return the key during business hours, which requires us to drive about 30 minutes one way to get back to the return location. This location should not be allowed to act as a drop off until they fix their drop box. Please make sure this happens.
