I put in more gas than was in there when I got it but was still charged $9 for 2 gallons of gas I feel like I've been ripped off I paid $75 or one day where it says $19 rental I will never rent a U-Haul againCris C.

The staff was friendly. However, not very familiar with the rental process so it seemed. I am also very disappointed that the prior renter did not fill the tank completely and I was stuck with the cost of truly filling the gas tank. I drove 11 miles and it cost me $ $15.27 for 4.365 gallons of gas. I'm pretty darn sure a Uhaul gets more than 3 miles to the gallon as I have rented from Utah to Idaho. I didn't let the truck idle other than waiting for the traffic lights to change. I also don't believe I was given the option for the $14.00 insurance. I think this should be the renter's choice. If it wasn't for the excessive cost to fill the gas tank, I was "ok" with the rental fees, but again, I feel I got the short end of the stick. It would be much appreciated if I could be credited back some fees/costs associated with my rental. I am happy to provide you with a copy of my gas receipt if needed. Gracias por tu tiempo. The people were friendly, but it took awhile to get everything in the computer for me to take the truck. Then we received a truck with a dead battery. The overall cost was more than I had expected from my online order.Kendra W.
