Ordered hand truck and 12 furniture pads for the move along with the truck. Equipment was not there, since this is a 24/7 pickup at a remote location so no one to tell,or get supplies done. Had to move without supplies, even worse u-haul has charged me for the order without providing equipment. Go elsewhere, Penske was a much better experience in the past; do not rent from haul unless you want to be disappointed on move day.Keith S.

Their posted time to open the location was 9am. I made my reservation for 9:30 am specifically because I did not want to use the self check in. No one was there to open the location until 10am. They offered no apology for the delayed opening In my opinion, poor customer service.Joyce D.

Both pick and drop off times we're at 0900 when the store opens and both times no employees was there until 930 -1000 am. Plus the truck and no working a/c and a huge hole in the roof of the storage compartment.Danuel Z.

The truck was dirty. No dollies...we needed them to move and we were charged for them.. The online service was poor and not tech support available. We only had a 3 hour window and spend an hour trying to figure out your system. Worse move we ever hadRaymond C.

The van was filthy. Could barely see out of the windshield. We had to take it through a car wash and pay just to clean it enough for our trip. Trash all over the interior and cab including several pills, potato chip bags, newspapers, hair and tons of dirt. The left blinker did not work. the left brake light did not work. And when I Started the engine, it said the rear passenger tire needed air. I walked back in and told the attendant about the air in the tire because I did not know yet about the blinker or brake light until another friver informed me on our trip!!! She responded, â€œyes that's how it is, it's fine because the mechanic checked itâ€. That warning stayed on our entire trip. We had to take the time to check the air pressure ourselves to make sure it was safe. This establishment gives Uhaul a bad name.Bobbi P.

The truck radio didn't work at all which is fine but still annoying on a long drive. The big issue was the truck clearly wasn't maintained and had a flat tire.. had to use the roadside assistance which went very smoothly so thankful for that.. still lost a couple hours of time though.. Also the particular location I rented from charges .99Â¢ a mile on weekdays.. it sure if that's standard but the last time I rented a uhaul they (December 2020) they said it was .89Â¢ on weekdays..Michael D.

Very rude employees. They ask their customers to wear a mask when they themselves don't. Absolute hypocrites. Also, the mirrors on the truck did not function properly. I will never rent from this location again.neil P.

Location did not have furniture pads - directed me to the UHaul store in Placentia. Thankfully I brought some of my own and didn't need them. Renters need to be aware - this is a Postal Max shop that rents trucks, not the usual UHaul store, so plan accordingly.Chris B.

The truck was 3 and a half hours late from original time it was promised. The truck was given to us disgustingly dirty, filled with drugs in the trunk, and shattered glass. Will never use Uhaul ever again after this experience and would never, ever recommend to a friend.Ryan S.
They said I dropped off truck with infilled gas, but I dropped off with full tank of gas and they charged me easy gasChuu W.

Did not open until half hour after my pickup time because employee was late. Employees kid was in crib behind counter. Employee and employee's mom did not wear face covering entire time. Employee asking me to change dollies for her since the wrong was in the truck (I am not an employee there). Location did not have have furniture blankets I requested. Employee was rude and unapologetic due to being late and she said it's not her problem because uhaul provides a $50 guarantee anyways.... I highly recommend that U-Haul does not continue business with Postal Max. Worst U-Haul experience ever. I've done a fair amount of U-Haul transactions in the last year due to my moves and even maintain a storage unit so I know the quality of U-Haul service provides and Postal Max is so far from it.Cory H.

We picked up the truck at a Postal Max (i would recommend an actual Uhaul facility) and when we received our truck it was already unlocked, blankets were thrown on the floor in the back, and there was dirt and trash. The cigarette lighter was broken so we weren't able to hook up and use our navigation system to find our way throughout our drive. Also when we went to return the truck the store the store was closed. The woman who helped us in the morning said the front door would be unlocked and we could throw the keys onto a table through a grate. I ended up having to find somewhere to leave the keys. The representatives I talked to afterwards were helpful and friendly. Would not recommend Postal Max in PlacentiaRonald B.
Horrible pick up at Postal Max, supposed to pick up at 830am they didn't arrive to open until 915am. Received key went to truck and it was filthy, trash in the cabin, previous person left dirty towel, t-shirt and some dirty posters in the bed of the truck. The blankets that were supposed to be folded were just laying in a pile. The front cabin not clean or sanitized as there was dust all over the dashboard. Horrible. With a pandemic going on you really should maintain safety by ensuring all Uhuals are fully cleaned and sanitized before the next person rents. I hope me and my 65 yr old father don't get covid after using this truck since you can tell nothing was cleaned. I have pictures of everything. So disgusted.Paige J.

We received a phone call the night before our rental stating that they changed our pickup time from 8:00am to 8:30am because that's what time they opened. When my husband and sons arrived at 8:30am, they discovered that the office did not open until 9:00am and there was no way to use self-serve to pick up the truck. Additionally, the associate gave my husband the utility dolly instead of the appliance dolly I had already reserved and paid for. He asked twice about this and the worker told him that we did not reserve the appliance dolly, only the utility dolly. I assumed I must've made a mistake when I placed the order. He came home and loaded up the truck, with an oversized refrigerator in addition to boxes. We moved out stuff to our new house. Upon returning the truck to a different location, the person noticed that we did, in fact, get the wrong dolly, as we had reserved and paid for the appliance dolly (which would've made moving the refrigerator a much easier task).JUSTIN M.
Was told that I could pick up at 8:30am. Location posted hours stated that they weren't open til 9am. However, staff did not arrive until 9:10 and spent an additional 20 minutes troubleshooting their vendor login information. Completely disorganized and a huge waste of time. Uhaul truck had front bumper damage different than what was documented. Inside had leftover water bottle from previous usage.Calvin L.

This rental truck has over 111,000 miles on it and it struggled driving down the freeway. The passenger door does not close properly and the interior was left dirty by the last rental. Other than those issues the reservation process went very smoothly with very nice people helping you.Brian Y.

The process is extremely slow here, it takes longer here with an online reservation than walk in at another store. Plus, I was charged 3.5 gal of gas for driving 10 miles, this is ridiculous.Lun Z.
