Location was closed with no drop off box. I will never use uhaul again. Not convenient, not easy. More stress than necessary. Have people at every location to check in and drop off.

I added blankets to my rental. When picking the truck up they said I would have to drive to different location to get them! Asked for a credit and they said they would credit it back, unfortunately I was charged for them. The truck also only had 1/2 tank of gas when picking it up. When I brought it back they said they would give me some credit back for fill it more! That didn't happen as well. It cost way more than I expected.

The truck was returned at 10:20am and the clerck decided to enter the returned truck at 2:50pm, incurring in an erroneous additional day. Then, I had to spend 30' on the phone with customer service since nobody picked up the phone at this location and voicemail was full.

The employees at this location are courteous and fast, so I am not faulting them or the business and wish them well. I'm happy to see small companies like this still around. However, due to the space limitations of this location, a customer who rents a U-Haul truck has no choice but to walk down a back alley to find the truck they rented. This would not have bothered me except that an employee told me that gas is routinely stolen from U-Haul trucks in this alley, which left me feeling a bit unsafe about my surroundings, especially in light of my recent knee surgery and inability to run or defend myself. I wish I could think of a solution to prevent this risk, but I can tell this alley is used by neighboring businesses to load and unload supplies and, again, space is limited. I might recommend a guard posted in the alley, but I know this is not up to the business I used to rent a truck.

The two young gentlemen were very helpful. Confusing at first of where to park it, but nonetheless a lot easier when picking up. On the other hand, the self check out feature would not allow me to complete the check out so I had to ask the gentlemen for more help (which was annoying as they were closing). I apologized to them for the inconvenience, but they didn't show any irritation with me.

I had to change trucks as the first truck gas was stolen from the gas tank. The location staff was very quick in assigning me a new truck.

The service provider at the counter was exceptionally helpful. I was stuck in the traffic and could not go before 5 p.m. He waited for me for about 25 minutes. Even though I had booked trolleys at the U-Haul website, the store would not offer those. However, the service provider accommodated with one which was very helpful, otherwise, my plan for the moving that night would be very difficult. I really appreciated his accommodation, and I suggest the U-Haul to update website accordingly or make the ordered items available when customers go to the store in reliance.

The drop off process was horrible. Uhaul changed the drop off location from Postal Annex, Clayton, to Monument Dr, Concord at the last minute without notifying me. I dropped it off at the Postal Annex but never received a confirmation for the drop off. I called the Uhaul representative for Concord, CA, who told me I was wrong to have dropped it off at Postal Annex (all emails say Postal Annex). The Uhaul representative talked over me, didn't listen to me, then hung up.

The truck was dirty outside, in the bed & dirty floor mats. They gave us the truck with the check engine light on and front right tire with 27 psi in it with the warning light on without telling us and 1/4tank of gas. Close this location down and just rent from main store in town.

TERRIBLE. Could not get the truck for 2 hrs past when ordered because "system down". Big waste of my time. Then given truck with gas on empty, not running safely, and to top it off, overcharged. Shouldn't I rather be getting a discount since it wasn't available when promised and I wasted so much time, plus couldn't get the things I needed all moved? Also incorrect about when leys returned. They were returned the same day. The door was locked so put them through the slot, as I'd been instructed Also never signed any contract. Bad experience all around.

Have a notice to pull the uhaul to the back. It was an inconvenience to park, then be told to move the uhaul to another location. Also poor choices of uhauls at this location

The van was a total mess and seemed on the verge of failure. I noted small roaches in the cab. The back was littered with old blankets and dolly thrown about. The online app noted that you could pick up the van using your phone after an hour of trying to do so "manager" or rep came out showing another customer one of the vans. His interaction with me was poor to say the least. He gave off the impression that he could care less about anyone he serviced along with the condition of the truck. He even calmly made threats to charge more if parking was not as strictly specified even by a few feet, noting that you people pay much more to have their car parked in vegas. Over all the experience was poor and if i could have gone back in time i would have just borrowed a friends truck.

Customer service was extremely rude and up to your face. They had a really bad attitude and very unfriendly face. The car was really dirty and the side mirrors where is such a dirty that I could not see anything from the back and it was very dangerous I asked if I can have a towel or a paper towel or something they gave me a very small Wipe that he was not even enough to clean your eye glasses. Then I had to use my jacket to wipe the mirrors to avoid accident. Never ever rent a car from this location. There really made me disappointed I never ever recommend anyone to rent a car or anything from U-Haul on Clayton Road.
