This was a disaster in everyway. The Pictures show the truck has a loading ramp, it did not. The app did not work and after 30 minutes of it not working I had to go into store to get manually completed. The windshield was so dirty you could not she through the windshield and my pick up was at night delaying me further. Then I get the bill and there is a hidden charge of $20 for after hours service fee. Wow! Really for what??? You cant get any help after hours and you did nothing to earn it. Terrible experience all around. Great work Uhaul!Chris K.

The weekend experience using only the app or online web page was a nightmare. Whoever designed the web pages for checking-in and getting the truck online should be fired, the whole IT team, it was a nightmare. Let's start with the check-in the day before. No problems, in fact, the link to the check-in page said that an account on Uhaul.com was "optional", and I never created an account when I reserved the truck. So what happened the next day when I drove the Uhaul location? When I clicked on the link to pick up the truck, it took me the account login page! I could not go further without creating an account first, even though the page said it was "optional". Ok, no problem right, just create an account, but I couldn't! I entered the email that I used to reserve the truck, didn't work. I used the phone number to reserve the truck, didn't work. I repeatedly clicked on "reset password" and "resend the code", no emails were sent, no text message was sent. Ok, no problem, just call customer service. Guess what? The expected wait time to talk to someone was 52 minutes! I had an appointment with the city at 11 AM, I couldn't wait an hour to talk to someone. I was finally able to talk to someone through the online chat support, who must have reset something so that I can request a code again, and this time it let me through. The whole experience was infuriating and frustrating. Going forward to picking up the truck, the next screens kept popping up the customer support chat, even though I'm done with customer support, but it kept popping up. Every screen. Poor programming. Finally, dropping off the truck, I went through all the screens again, taking pictures, and finally reached the point where it said I was done, except another page that said I have to now go to Uhaul.com/share to finish the process. Wait what? I thought I was done, so I go to Uhaul.com/share to see what else I have to do, and it says nothing is on that page for me to do. Unbelievably bad UI design all the way through. Fire your whole IT team. All of them.Woody Y.

The postal annex was clean and the service was good. Wish the trucks were parked somewhere else than the side of a busy street but there are limited optionsOWEN C.
Office location closed on weekends. Information on how to retrieve a truck was poor, had to find original text/email. I was not aware of all that was needed. additional contacts were sleeping - I could not alert them in advance to expect a call Drop off instructions also poor. I had already dropped off the keys and I couldn't take a picture of the odometerpatricia C.

I am very displeased with Uhaul at your postal Annex location. After I cleaned the vehicle put gas back inside the truck as i was returning the vehicle the postal Annex location was closed. I sat in front office looking for a drop box display and there was nothing posted or listed showing were the key should be dropped off. I didn't want be charged extra for keeping the truck so i locked the keys inside the vehicle. Now I am being charged $75 dollars for you guys to call a locksmith. Additionally your postal Annex did not display no signs of a drop box. Plus it makes no sense to only have one key and no spare just in case. I have emailed your field manager as well and I need my $75 reimbursed back to my card please. This is not right and I feel I'm being taken advantage of because your postal Annex location didn't properly disclose where a key drop box location was. Thank you for time.CHARLES C.

Worst uhaul experience ever because of this specific postal annex location! I have rented from uhaul 7 times in the past 4yrs, all have been great. This time was completely different story. I would not attribute this to uHaul but rather the Postal Annex that I had to pick up and drop it off at. The guy was really rude at pick up. He tried to charge me for a appliance dolly because it was in the truck even though I did not want it and asked him to remove it. One day after I returned the truck after hours at 6pm, I received my receipt where I noticed I was charged a $25 cleaning fee. I called uhaul who called the postal annex and they told uhaul it was because I did not clean the truck. I called the postal annex to figure out what was going on as I never return rentals dirty. I was told that the furniture blankets (all 6 that I got) were not folded â€œproperly.â€ I was told there was a sign inside the truck stating I would be charged if it wasn't returned clean. They guy again was really rude and ended up cussing at me and said it was not his responsibility to do anything. Uhaul is great but not from this location.Alexander W.

A little clearer direction on where to park the vehicle. When returning, the app indicated to return to the parking lot; however, the attendant mentioned it should be parked on the street. Not a big deal though.Earnest H.
1. Have the reservation set up for 24/7 truck share. 2. No drop box available for padlock. 3. Have more people on customer service so I'm not on hold for 30 mins and have to get transferred to 2 different people. 4. Do not let people get reservations weeks in advance only to change the pick up location the day before.Peter M.

Convenient mobile pickup/return when the location is closed. However, it would be more convenient if the authorization steps would be done prior to arriving at the pickup site.James P.
To start, this location needs a furniture dolly as promised. Parking by the street is not safe for entry especially need to take photo on the driver side during return. I had to watch out the car driving passed by me. It really needs a safe parking spot.Kai D.

Directions on parking the vehicle on the main road would have been helpful to receive via email. We had to circle around the parking lot and then told where to go after going inside.Nicki D.

The gentleman helping us out did while every polite did not speak English very well and there was confusion between what the woman told my son on the phone as far as cost, mileage etc. to what he was telling us. It was confusing and difficult.JUSTIN C.

I was not informed that I need additional documents such as a passport, or a contact so that I can be approved. I lost almost 45 minutes of my time trying to get the approval. Also, the approval session kept closing so I had to reenter all my information over and over again. In such a time where we are already facing so many inconveniences due to pandemic, I would have appreciated it if this process was easier, or I was informed earlier about these additional documents, so that I could bring them with myself.Ali K.
