The night before my early morning move I was called and informed The truck size and location I reserved was unavailable. This is unacceptable. To be notified the night before and that both my truck size and location was unavailable is absolutely unprofessional and not proper business practice.

This was the worst experience I've ever had renting a vehicle. It did not run right all the check engine lights were on in the brakes hardly worked. The check-in process was a joke and took forever. I will not do this self-check in ever again.

The guy at the neighborhood dealer was unprofessional and rude. He is supposed to answer basic doubts to first time customers such as me without getting irritated. Infact he lost his cool too many times on me asking questions. He didn't even bother to explain correctly and descriptively the return process.

Only thing: Better signage- gps said where Uhaul was but my Uber driver and I both had a hard time seeing where the Pac n ship place was in the plaza. And the uhaul sticker in the window was there but it being smaller than a postcard isn't too helpful. The store associate was nice and helpful, thanks.

In general all went well. But there are some areas to improve. INSTRUCTIONS about the key location is confusing and not detailed. I am local and know this area pretty good. But I used this location to pick up a truck for the first time. The instructions about the lock box to pick up the keys was just one sentence (something like "in the backyard of the building find the lock box"). Excuse me, the building is very big, where should I look for that lock box? So, long story short, detailed description about the lock box location needed. The car was clean, tank was full of fuel, no questions to the car.

Location and truck were great. Process was a pain - U-Haul should get all the documents/references/phone numbers/etc etc BEFORE you go to pick up the truck, and end up standing in a parking lot for an hour filling out online forms on your phone and waiting for them to call references, after they've already got your info, credit card, etc. Extremely annoying and wasted an hour of my rental time.

It took me one hour to find the lock box location your online information was horrible. I tried calling and held on the telephone for one hour no one picked up. The drop off was similarly bad. Going through the steps your site kept freezing and throwing me off and I had to re-enter all the information it took me 45 minutes to drop the truck off the entire experience was the worst I have ever had. If this is the direction U-Haul is going I'm done with renting from them.

This is a sub par post office type store that is fine if you like minimal service. Attempted to charge more than the reserved rate and didn't change it until calling U haul. I was sent there by U haul as my original location didn't have the trailer i requested.

The service was very good the location was very convenient. The cabin was clean but inside the truck had something splashed on the wall. I didn't have a problem with it and I did take photos of it so I wouldn't be responsible for it.

The van I had was clean until I got to my rental storage space and when I opened the door to empty my belongings there were small water bugs or cockroaches that scattered. I attempt to snap a picture but the ran under the black plastic undead the cargo mat in the back of the van.

I returned the truck after hours because I rented it at 4pm the previous day . The tank was not full , I filled it to the line it was left at . I was charged $115.00. I would like some sort of refund. Gracias.

The pick up process was a little disjointed. I went into the Post n Go to ask where I pick up the truck. The attendant said the keys were behind the building. Went around back and the lockbox was opened already with no key in it. I had o go back to attendant who inadvertently had the key. I then went out to truck and found no furniture pads in it. I had ordered 6. I went back to attendant who told me to go back out and take the pads out of another truck. He said he'd refund me as long as I checked in with him upon return. The location was closed when I got back so I did an online return. The site crashed twice and it took me 25 minutes to complete the online return. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

They can make the reservation but they can't hold the reservation. I started the reservation process over 2 months before I actually picked up the truck. I requested a 17ft truck but I was told I could not reserve a 17ft truck for more than 1 day?? They told me to rent the 15ft truck and go to the office closer to the pick up date and tell them you needed a 17ft truck . I went 2 weeks before and again 4 days before. When I went to pick up the truck it was a 15ft truck. Then I was told that I had reserved it for 1 day, when I needed it for 3 days. That portion was remedied at the counter. The vehicle itself was a bit worn. The interior was dirty and a bit more worn than previous trucks I had received. Luckily I did not have to travel far in the vehicle. Another thing. I realize these truck don;t get great mileage, but I drove 10 miles and the truck used (if it was actually full when I picked it up) 2.58 gallons of gas. That's about 3.88 miles per gallon. May need a tune up or have customers actually fill the tank when returning.

Over charged me by $10.00 for an Appliance dolly that was not on the truck. The truck was dirty on the inside and I had to sweep it out before I loaded it. Online renting is a great idea but having a live person review the truck and its contents is a much better idea when dealing with Uhaul.

The inside of the truck was dirty with red smears all over the walls. Some brushed on to my belongings. There was broken glass on the bottom of the back of the truck. Gas tank was not completely full, yet I filled it all the way up. I probably only used half the gas I actually paid for.

I had made arrangements to pick up my truck by 8am on Friday. I had even made a trip over to the store where I was to pick up the truck the day before to confirm. The gentlemen (one from the store and a U-Haul service person) explained how to use the app to complete the pick up and they assured a truck would be there. When I arrived Friday I got on the app and went to the lock box to retrieve the key...No Key. Since I was on a schedule, I was a bit upset. I called a number I found and a gentleman from U-Haul answered and said he would contact the gentleman from the store to come assist me. I got a call back from U-Haul and they said someone would be there in 5 min. 10 min went buy so I called U-Haul back and they gave me the number for the gentleman from the store...I called no answer. He did arrive shortly after. I guess the previous renter returned the key directly to the store and it was not placed in the lock box. I was able to stay my schedule with a little hustle, but I did freak out a bit earlier.
