The truck smelled on cigarettes and the gas gauge was slightly lower than the notes said. Ended up getting dinged for it upon returning the truck

Not thorough in contracting business. Said one thing and did another. Said I would get all of my refund but only received one-third of it.

Michael W.The guy that was there when I picked up my truck was not my owner. I was having trouble with mobile check in and asked him for help. It took 30 minutes for him to figure out how to get the truck. Somehow SafeMove was added to the reservation but I did not add it when I ordered the truck and I was charged for a dolly that wasn't in my truck. I'm still trying to figure out how we ended up paying $160 for a truck that we used all of 3 hrs and drove MAYBE 10 miles total. I will never go back to this place and would never recommend it to anyone.

Ray M.The actual truck was in need of modernization - the seat was not adjustable so I had to put my backpack behind me, for some unknown reason the tire pressure monitoring system needed a checkup and that sign was in place of the odometer so I couldn't actually verify the starting milage, the engine light was on when I was on my way back, the ac was working well enough but kept coming on full steam then turning off....but I got there and back and all was well. I went the day before to find it, and it is in a weird kind of hard to find spot, but the people there were very helpful, so nothing I have issues with was about the location or the people there (though I do recommend finding it before the day you need the truck!).
Heather M.Interestingly I was at another U-Haul facility not far from where the phone dispatcher sent me, I drove and drove not able to find the location even though my GPS said "Your here at the location" No sign, no office, dirty, dark and their was a near flat tire to the back passenger side of the truck. The person in charge asked me to go down the road to ask some company to fill it up. I always thought my rental vehicle should be safe, filled and ready to go for usage. THIS WAS AN EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT and will now ask "dispatch" not to send me their and will share the experience with all I am in contact with. A huge disappointment and discoraged to use U-Haul again!!!

Candy C.I did not interact very much with the staff at this location. The transaction was processed on the phone app. The gentleman did answer the phone after hours, and that was nice. The person that took the reservation (I think her name was Carmen) was very helpful - but I did not get a survey.
John H.The location did not have the supplies (moving blankets) that were requested or any additional moving supplies if needed. The owner of the shop was very nice and cordial. Additionally, we had selected the Uhaul center that was less than five minutes from our house that has all of the needed moving supplies and ensures the equips ready to go at the time of pickup. The used shoe shop location that we ended up getting assigned to the day before our pickup was a half hour from our house creating us to drive additional and unnecessary miles adding to the over all cost and stress of the move.
James W.The app and website have some bugs. For some reason when I was trying to perform the 24/7 pickup, I was getting caught in an infinite loop on the website. When I would select to pickup my truck, instead of advancing me, it would just reload the page. The option wasn't even showing on the app. I was able to get through the pickup process by changing my reservation and triggering the, “you're close to the pickup location, would you like to start the pickup process?†Another potential bug was with the mileage and gas image upload. I kept getting denied on the upload. By canceling the process and starting again, I was able to get the image to save. If there is validation of the image, perhaps the image scraper is set too sensitive. IF that's what was happening, a message indicating that the photo wasn't capturing the data the site needed would have been super helpful. I love the idea of U-Haul moving to this kind of model. Cheaper for you, faster for consumers. But the tech needs to be cleaned up a bit. I will give it another shot next time I need a truck. <3

Was Supposed To Have for 24 Hours They Blew My Phone UP CONSTANTLY I Charged $100 Plus $67 Extra Charges After The U-haul Was Dropped Off, Then When I Asked About The Extra Charges They Tried To Lie & State The Charges Were In My Contract When They Were NOT!!! They Are SCAMMERS, DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!
JADA H.The vehicle was dirty and the location realized this as I was picking up the unit. He had to sweep out trash. The interior appeared to be very dirty which we cleaned with bleach wipes. And, there was less than a 1/2 tank of gas. Was very disappointed Uhaul would allow this as a rental location.

Keli H.I got my truck with a little over a quarter tank of gas. Told the agent that that's all gas was in the truck after he said fill the tank. I said no, it's only a quarter of a tank and that's what I'm bringing it back on. He said ok. I took pics and a video before leaving the parking lot. Return it, and he come calling me about filling the tank. Basically harassing me. I returned the tank with what I got it on. I was charged an extra $120+ on top of the $81 for driving a total of 26 miles. Not only that, there was broken glass in the truck and it stunk. It smelt like a homeless person lived in the back of the truck. There was no walk around or walk through. I'm sure that was the reason why. He is crooked! Do not rent from this guy!! He knew I was desperate for a uhaul and he took advantage of that. Ummmm I'll see you in court!

Alex B.The man working at this location was extremely rude and aggressive toward me. He got mad at me that I was four minutes late and yelled at me and put his hands in my face. He made me feel extremely unsafe. He was rude and disrespectful to me throughout the entire transaction. He added items onto my rental that I previously declined in the reservation process. And when I asked him to stop yelling at me he became more aggressive and tried to refuse to give me the keys to the truck after I had already paid. The building he was in was dirty and unsettling and there were no lights on.
