I got a text the day before my pick-up that my rental had been moved from the Kent Street location to the Needham Street location. Beside's the fact that this put a wrench in my plans to return my car rental to Enterprise and walk to the Kent Street Uhaul for pick-up, when I got to Needham, I was told Uhaul was closed that day. It's pure luck that the woman working for the taxi service there could help me get my key. Taxi place - great service. Uhaul kind of sucks.

Supposed to be open till 5pm. I showed up at 3pm. He was gone. Had to get the key access over the phone and the padlock was really faulty. Wasted over an hour. The rest of the UHaul experience was 10/10. Comfortable to drive cross country. Handled well. Nice truck. Excellent phone service with UHaul.

John GThe truck door was not closed and opened on way home. Also, the truck had a dolly inside that was not ordered. Finally, the packing blankets were not with the truck as ordered and had to be picked up at another location.

Brenda CAl of my information including my visa was hacked from the u haul secure system. I received 65 calls from fraudulent u haul sites in B.C , Alberta and one in Ontario. My visa was hacked and 820.00 went to Western Union on .B.C. My bank got that money back. Now a new Visa card. The representative "Pat" did a fantastic job for me but after my information was sent from her computer, fraudsters got it all. This has caused a week of problems for me and ruined a four day visit with my son from Alberta. I'm expecting compensation from U Haul as this was the only transaction that day and the callers identified as U Haul reps. This is "NOT " what I expected when renting a trailer from what I thought was the best company to deal with. The Trailer was excellent and since been returned to U Haul in Drayton Valley Alberta. I'm expecting to hear from I Haul this week.
WILLIAM CWe were charges for 2days we only needed one day so it cost us 200.00$ extra that we believe we shouldn't have to pay if we don't need it !!!we always thought of uhaul to be fairly good prices but we saw that it's way too expensive we will not use uhaul any more and will not recommend to friends

Karen MLocation of trailers is at the opposite end of the parking lot making clients walk quite a distance. It is also difficult to navigate when people are playing Bingo.
Tom WJay was an incredible help after my original booking was changed - twice - by U-Haul. He managed to get me into a 15' truck, which was shorter than the 20' originally booked, but bigger than the 10' that U-Haul arranged for me. Jay was very understanding and went out of his way to make my experience a lot better after the rigmarole I had been put through. I can't say enough about this man and the location he runs. Thanks very much Jay!

JASON AUhaul Traffic & Reservation are both in need of overhaul. 75kms to go pick up a truck is uncalled for.Round trip that was 150 kms kms just to get a truck. Then upon arriving at dealer site....No TRUCK!!!! $50.00 Reservation guarantee is low balling to say the least.... No Uhaul representative called to confirm reservation or change of venue for pick up. Uhaul is not the best choice for moving....Next time I will use Budget Truck Rentals

pierre dI was very disappointed that th is rental ended up costing more over $100.00 including gas for 2 1/2 hrs. You advertise $19.95. I understand there are other costs but over $100.00. I will not recommend or will I ever rent one of your vehicles again. Your dispatcher was busy answering phones for your taxi company. Nobody gave me any indication of the cost. I have my own insurance, but was not given the option to use it. Very disappointed.

ERNESTJ DI went to pick up a large trailer. The people were very nice, but I am a small woman and I was expected to be able to be able to pick up the tongue of the trailer and get it onto the hitch by myself. I am comfortable with hooking up the trailer etc… but there is no way I could have lifted that trailer by myself. There was not a jack or a crank to help me. Thank goodness one of the women there was able to come help me, but even with the two of us, it was a struggle. This is very concerning to me. These trailers should be accessible to everyone- big or small.

Bill KI specifically asked for a truck with a 2" towing receiver, after arriving and checking van, it had no 2" receiver, but a welded on 2" ball to bumper. I needed receiver to have a 1-7/8" ball to tow a trailer. When brought to attention to attendant he checked it out, but shrugged it off without offering alternative or compensation, so now I'm into the move, and stuck. So, went through move with trailer left behind. I called attendant to look for compensation for inconvenience, , left voice mail, now 2 days later. No follow up. Would not recommend this location ever
