The only thing that was unpleasant to deal with was site supervisor that came into the store. His uniform was from Uhaul and his name is Mark Shelton saw on his uniform. He was horrible and wanted to send me to Santa Maria when I had already made a reservation in advance. Fortunately, for me that the man Jose in the gas station and workers there helped me out 100% and completely grateful that Jose M. helped me. Found the truck for me and called me on my cell. If it wasn't for him I would of wasted so much time and would of found a different way to do what I needed. To make things clear on here the guys at this gas stations do excellent work, are super friendly and helpful. The one man came in from Uhaul was the unpleasant person supposedly trying to help me by sending me to a SM and offering me 50 bucks for trip. I am a USAF, female and young looking and maybe he thought id go for it. I know for a fact he was very very rude to me. Sending me further was inconvenient for me. I never want to hear from that man again. Uhaul should look into that site supervisor way he runs business. But Thank you Pommervilles Automotive & Gas and crew for being amazing!!!!

Communication. We were offered a discount to drop off at this location. We dropped off at night because we have a baby and it was easier that way. We were never told of any late night convience fee and we were automatically charged this. We are on such a tight budget and drove an extra 30 minutes to drop off the truck and have 1/4 extra gas in the tank and are charged $20 for a late drop off... bullshit!

The mileage charging is pretty outrageous. Maybe just add to the price of renting a uhaul . Like a flat rate of some sort.. everything is included. Yes you will have to refill the gas tank after using it thats only fair .. but .99 cent per mile wow.. or .69 cents per mile oh my gosh.. $44.00 dollars just for a couple of hours of use . I returned it the same day.. come people.. now these days people work hard for there money ... but its cool i know things are expensive and the upkeep of these trucks are not cheap. I know people do abuse them alot.. i get it.. thanks for hearing my rant.. god bless

I was traveling to Idaho and back and was told by the owner/operator that using a pickup truck instead of a van would be the way to go because I would not be charged for the mileage, just the rental fee. I saw a poster in the store that said free mileage with a pickup truck was a flat fee of $330/week but the person helping me said they were not aware of that. Because of the distance, I got a mileage break but it was not free miles. I am confused on the rental policy for the vehicle. I also did not care for the feature that turned off the engine every time I came to a stop. Other than that, the truck performed flawlessly and I had a good trip.

The rental process was mostly automated and was completed online, but more should be included online. I had to take photos of my drivers license and submit on the spot, and I had to sign forms before and after checkout. With COVID-19, I'd rather complete these steps before arrival and/or electronically.

The customer service keeps me coming back. Don't cjange anything! The staff is friendly and efficient, if you have to wait you are kept in the loop. Excellently customer service with a smile. Even with the mask I know they're smiling!

I had originally made a reservation 4 days prior at vandenberg village uhaul. I came in and they informed me that they didn't have the truck I reserved. Well they had the truck there but I couldn't use it. They then send me to lompoc uhaul on H street. I will never use uhaul again. Pommerville uhaul was great but due to my experience I will now go somewhere else. I also will not refer people to vandenberg village uhaul.

I was unhappy in that my original pickup location was changed without my consent. I wanted to pick up the truck in Vandenberg village but was redirected to pommerville in Lompoc. The people there were very helpful and professional, though.

First complaint, i got it at 3:30 pm, they had me down to return it at 8 am the next day.. Not even giving me 24hrs. Then when i was a an hour past return, they inform me at drop off its fee is a full day of use. So i decide ill keep it and use it instead of my pickup truck to go visit my mom 5 miles away.. The uhaul gets way better gas mi. The next day i called ahead becasue i locked the uhaul key inside and tell them im waiting for roadservice to come.. When i get there, he informs me, im late so ANOTHER FULL DAY CHARGE! So, i keep it, i mean i am paying for it! So all in all, i felt like i could have been charged a LATE FEE the 1st day ($20 instead of an extra 55$ for the day.. ) I have rented w uhaul & competitor in the past and have never been charged for an extra day plus the additional charges.. Ins($15) + dolly($10) I used the truck 1 full day w4 hrs plus a lil over an hour late.. And my final bill was $180 plus some change.. Not a single person even tried to resolve this with a late fee.. And this by far is the worst experiemce ive ever had moving. I am sure it is this location.. The other location on falcor st is great. I was never charged for late fee before like this. Other locations seem to be compassionate amd not try to rip you off for being an hour late. This location gets 0 stars and i hope uhaul finds some compassion to reimburse me for the hassle. I just would like to pay for 1 day of use since its all i used.

I have used this location the last several times that I rented and always have a great experience . This time I rented a tow dolly to move some of my vehicles that are in different phases of repair and asked for the ball size that I needed and they didn't know . They called me back with the correct information within 5 minutes. I absolutely do advise friends and family to do all their UHaul business at this location if possible !
