Truck had an awful wobble, check engine light, and an offensive smell. It had so many scuffs and scrapes that I took a 360 degree video of it to CMA. The gas was empty when I got it. I did get a credit for that, which was nice. But, I didn’t feel safe at all wobbling down the highway. Probably gonna rent from another company next time.

I use to love this place. Had an issue with Polks trying to over charge my card several times and mileage wasn’t accurate. I won’t use this again.

This was the worst moving experience. The movers through moving help not only delayed but canceled twice. I had to pay almost double what I would have paid to get my stuff moved on time. Then when I arrived to my destination the movers said they did not service that area so I moved my entire house by myself. Then when I called uhaul asking for weight tickets so I can get paid by the military they said they did not have them. So now I’m at risk of not getting paid for my military move. I would not recommend using the uhaul ubox system to anyone

Overall, I have had better uhaul experiences. Cleaner trucks, more efficient, professional and polite staff. Smith Springs Road was fine, but Elysian Field needs help. Ridiculously long wait, a roach crawling across the counter, unwilling to work with existing reservations.

Jennifer was great! She was friendly but professional. And patient. Your on line system was terrible. I pre-checked in the day before but because I was later getting to dealership (I called and they said no problem) the system would not let me proceed to getting vehicle. It wouldn’t let me see the pics sent to my email of the truck prior to my rental. And finally, it would not let me return vehicle through the 24 hour system. I’m thankful you had a great employee that could help me face to face.

I don’t use these services often but the 24/7 service I git was a total disaster. Took 2 hours on cell phone and multiple call to you all to get my keys. Next time I’ll rent Penske. The location I rented from was not the problem but the inability of U-haul corporate to assist me. Just my experience of my day!

The best thing you can do for your customers is to refer them to other locations. The owner made the appointment himself for me to access my container and then did not show up for over an hour. He said, "Uhaul means nothing to me." He berrated me for showing up to the appointment he had scheduled with me. I have never been treated so disrespectfully and will not return to his location or uhaul in general. My container had been stored outside and my boxes were full of ants.

The start point stated there was a full tank of gas. It was a quarter tank did not notice till I got to the parking point 12 miles a away. Tried calling there line was always busy. Mr polk took care of making it right! Every emotional pachup my mother had passed

Your free storage rental certificate on our recent truck rental was not honored locally. We were told we had to drive 60 miles one way out of our way to use it. Scam for sure.

Trailer was very dirty when we opened it. Not only was there dirt and grass along all the walls there were also many nuts and bolts. This was our 6th rental in 30 days and by far the worst trailer. One problem with future rentals at this location is that the owner was the only person at work that day. As auto recovery is his bread and butter it is understandable that he may not be there at the rental time.

I was not offered he insurance, I was charged for it. I have coverage through my auto insurance. I only went 6 moles. I don’t think people should be charged without asking about it. The passenger door didn’t open from the outside. My passenger had to climb through the drivers side door to the seat. The staff was nice.

My original order was supposed to be picked up at extreme auto detailing in Elizabethtown Ky. Uhaul did not assign the order to anyone. Therefore when I tried to pick up the truck, I was told I had no reservations. I had spoken to someone at uhaul on Monday, confirming that my reservations we're secured, as I had done the $50 reservation guarantee. Polk's was the closest location so I called to see if they could full fill my reservations. Nicole said yes. I picked up the truck with absolutely no problem at all. She even spoke with someone about obtaining my $50 reservation guarantee. Upon returning the truck Clyde Polk was great. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

The application listed two drivers, but only the person who completed the application could go through the steps to access the keys for the truck. If a second driver is listed, that driver should be able to pick up the truck.

Owner/Operator was incredibly rude. It was almost unbelievable...to the point that I thought I might've been on a hidden camera show, it was so bad. I'd be mind blown if this person's business is still open a year from now considering they're not the least bit worried about customer service. I wouldn't rent from this location again if my only other option was a horse and buggy. U-haul should definitely reconsider the type of people they allow to rent their equipment. Some people may not be able to differentiate the U-haul brand from the independent shop owner thus leaving a huge stain on the U-haul brand.

Scheduled pick up at 1230, They were at lunch. Came back at 2 still no one at the premises. The number on the door was answered but it was not the person who issued the trailer. The safety chains on the trailer were to long and were twisted to shorten them. The hours posted on your site should match the rental location.

The man at the counter where we picked up was not professional and was rude over the telephone. He wasted so much of our time today and would not allow us to return the trailer to a location that is 30 minutes closer to our home! He wasted our time and our money. We would not have gone through with the rental if we did not absolutely need the trailer today! I called to let him know I was on the way and was running a little late (4 minutes after scheduled pickup time) and by the time I got there, there was a man in line. This made my pick up time more than 30 minutes later and he had the nerve to say “OH YOURE LATE”! I never leave reviews unless it was amazing or just horrific. Today was a disaster.

This was the most helpful place I have been. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The store was well kept.

Staff was very rude and unhelpful. The truck was at 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up and was told I had to put more gas than that in it when I returned it or I would be charged extra. The truck smelt like someone just finished smoking weed in the cab and the inside of the bed was covered in black stuff that got on some of my things when we moved. I will never rent from this place again!

It was a huge hassle trying to get the tow dolly from Mr. Polk. I'm not sure if it is due to the fact that he knew me or another reason. I went there originally and he refused to rent to me. I went to a different location in Elizabethtown and they had a tow dolly but it was out of service at the time. They were very friendly and helped me go online and do the application myself and reserve the tow dolly. That sent me back to Mr. Polk. I called to let him know I was on my way to pick it up. Once again he told me I couldn't rent it. I told him I already had it reserved online. I arrived at his location once again and he tried to refuse service once again until I told him I had a confirmation number and I would call U-haul if he refused to rent it. At that time he got the paperwork through and we went through the steps of getting it hooked up to my truck. There were no problems after that.

I rented 2 Dolly’s and only received 1, and I got a pack of furniture pads that I did not request, nor use. I informed the local U-Haul representative that I only got 1 dolly but still got charged for both.
