Horrible customer experience. Waited 30 min for U-Haul manager to show up at original location in Sagamore and never did. U-Haul directed me to another location in Pocassetthat required me to wait in 45 min of traffic to get to. Never again. There should be some level of compensation for this.Michael R.

The pickup was scheduled for 8am- 1.5 hours away from the requested location. The owner did not want to set up the 24/7 access because he â€œdoesn't do thatâ€ and told us to â€œsuck it upâ€. The experience was terrible. I had already checked in online and he made me do it again once he finally rolled in at 9:20 am. Terrible experience and I honestly cried it was so frustrating.Rob C.

The vendor was filling tires up with an air compressor upon arrival. Later on while packing we discovered a leak in the tire because the uhaul signaled low tire pressure. The vendor knowingly new there was a tire issue upon renting out the uhaul. Had this been discovered on the road there's a possibility we could have been stranded on a highway with a flat tire. This was an extremely dangerous thing for a vendor to do and he should no longer be allowed to rent vehicles to uhaul customers in the future.Billie L.
No one at location. Called phone number on my contract that instructed me to call at time of drop off. Made call, but persons answering call was not sure what to do. Very frustrating for me. Then it turns out the no one was notified about the drop off being made at all. Received a call days later from Uhaul asking why I haven't returned trailer. Overall very frustrated and stressed over drop off. Have been concerned uhaul was going to charge me more money.Stephen L.

First during pick at waisted 40min with the app-asking for alternate phone number and calling people at Sat 7am when everybody is sleeping. During drop off I had problem with the app again and try to drop off with person from the location. He was extremely bad saying the truck had 1/2 tank of gas but truck had 1/4.I told him that it wasn't 1/2 he told me â€œdon't tell me I knowâ€.I took a picture with the app when I picked up the truck and gas was 1/4 I left the truck with 1/4 and 1/8 tank of gas but the way person there was trying to make me pay extra 1/4 tank of gas is not the right way to keep customers. They attendant and another person working in a small office did not wear masks. In addition, they did not socially distance and no plexiglass was in use. The top front corner, left side of the truck was damaged. When I picked up the truck, I had to insist they attendant note and sign the damage on the contract. I took pictures before to ensure that I was not responsible for this damage. They were not able to provide me another vehicle.Alan A.

The young man who worked with me wore a mask and was helpful. The 2 older gentlemen at the location did not have masks on and the tiny office stunk of cigarette smoke. I walked right out and asked to be waited on outside, to avoid both the cigarette smoke and unmasked employees. There is a state mask order here and these were clear violations. Though the young man put his mask on to assist me, he is exposed to his coworkers all day, every day. For those reasons I would not recommend this site to anyone.Robin B.
Reserved on-line. The vehicle was at the location but it had not yet been centrally cleared/updated. I had expected a no contact rental but instead had to wait 20 minutes for the issue to be resolved and then conduct a standard rental. The UHaul app is terrible as well. One of the developers should try actually using it to rent and pick up a vehicle.Thomas M.

The guy made me sweep the back of the truck. It seemed a little obnoxious but then he explained to me that uhaul would charge me $25 if they found it dirty, so I appreciate him trying to save me money. Still obnoxious that I had to do that though. There was only a slight amount of sand in the back of the truck. Absurd.NICHOLAS S.

Waiting for the U-Haul person to finish a vehicle inspection for almost an hour was more than annoying. When he finally was free I had a question about the equipment and he told me to go look so I did. While I was gone for less than 2 minutes he took another customer and I again had to wait while he took care of that person. He should have gone to look at equipment with me to answer my question instead of starting with a new customer.Bryan C.

The location and truck were fine. My problem was that I could not return my truck via the contactless/ online return process. It crashed on step 5 of taking a picture of where the truck was left and then crashed. It did this 5 times and then it didn't count my return time until the following day. I was also on hold for 20 mins and never directly spoke to anyone, only received a response using the chat now feature.Patrick O.

I was supposed to be able to check in online and pick up my vehicle at 7:30 AM. However when I got there the online checker check in was not available despite it being confirmed. The manager was somehow aware and came in early at 7:45 to help me do it in person. So I went from angry and disappointed that my pick up was delayed to being pleased about the customer service.Jeffrey K.

I had completed everything online for a quick pickup. I was scheduled to pick up the truck at 8:30. Had peeps waiting to help with move. Arrived at 8:15. Sign on door says open at 9:00 ðŸ¤". Person arrived at 9:10 and I had to start the process all over again. Had to have been 6 other people waiting to drop off and pick up. One girl had schedule a 7:30 pick up. Someone dropped her off to pick her truck up. She waited almost two hours by the time she was waited on. The truck had such a bad smoke odor!!!Jessica H.

Through no fault of the location, I was extremely frustrated to learn that my truck was not at the location at the time I reserved it. I was told there was no telling when it would be back and I would be called when it was. I travelled nearly 1/2 hour home only to turn around and go back. I lost a full hour of my rental time and had to make an additional trip to pick-up the truck. This just isn't acceptable practice and I will hesitate to use Uhaul in the future.Dennis S.
None of the employees of the service station where we picked up the truck were wearing masks. The man who moved the truck for us and didn't have a mask or did he use gloves. Before getting into the truck i wiped it all down with sanitizer cloths.Carolyn M.
I didnt know it was up to the renter to sweep out the. BAck of the truck (witch I didnt bring a broom) I would have explained it to you but I dont have the time or crayons to explain it!! Thank god for the other employee who kindly let me use the leaf blower get the dirt out, other wise I would have been sweeping the truck out with my hand!! No thanks to james champani! The rental location was terrific in every way. The drop-off location also was terrific in every way. In addition we were very pleased with movers at the Manhattan end, On Time Movers (David and Trevor), they appeared on time, were ready to work, worked very hard, were very professional, they reflected well on UHaul.Michael C.

We rented a 15 ft truck from this location via the Uhaul mobile app. It was easy & convenient. I spoke to Jim after we dropped it off since we didn't connect in person. He was pleasant. I definitely recommend this location.Jeffrey D.
