Worst experience ever. Even when I called customer service, they hung up on me saying that to get a promo code they needed approval from a manager. Made me wait 30 mins and said sorry you have to call back. Unacceptable. It's 2020. You're a logistics company. I don't comprehend how the technology isn't there for you guys to be more organized. Due to the poor communication, i had to lift a washing 7 floors cuz the location didnt have an appliance dolly even if I reserved it. The way the situation wa shandlds was so poor that I will never give any more of my money to uhual. It was unacceptable.Swayam P.
I was supposed to return the trailer on ChÃ©nier street, in Laval. My trip was planned this way, on the contract. When I got there, "Chin" told me he was refusing the return, under the pretext he did not have enough space, which was a lie; enough space was available(I took pictures). He said he was expecting other returns, and he could not help me. That's it. No alternative, no suggestion. Lazy , detached, and borderline rude. Second location was way more helpful, compensating for first one. Chin should be removed from your list.Louis L.

when a customer requests blankets days in advance, U-Haul should ensure that there are enough at the location to cover that request. We were left without any protection blankets, the morning of the move. Also, while the box of the truck was impeccable, the cab was pretty dirty.Mario L.

Was scheduled for one location but day before received email saying location chnaged. Went to new location with garantee truck would be available by 8 am but nobody there by 8:30. Called Uhaul who could not reach location so sent me to still another location. Teleohone assistance was very good that morning and also next morning when I called to report that truck had been dropped off elsewhere.Marcel G.
No one was at the place and the doors were locked even though that was the scheduled drop off date. After dropping the keys off in the drop box leaving the truck in their parking lot , they called me several times asking where the truck was. 3 different people called then texted me in the end. Ultimately it was resolved once I sent pictures and a time/date.Gianmarco R.

Overall, great experience with UHAUL. Unfortunately, I had made a reservation to pick up the truck in Montreal. I was surprise when I received an email to confirm that I had to pick up the truck in Laval. Then, my reservation was suppose to be ready at 7 am. Unfortunately, I receive a call on friday from the guy from Laval, telling me that his store would not be open before 8am. It is only one hour but if you consider that I had a big mooving day, well I was not happy to take posession off the truck 1 hour later.Amelie C.

I requested to pick up in Lachine location and drop off in hawkesbury. The day before my reservation I was contacted and told that I had to drive to Laval to pick up and return it back to Laval. This was a large inconvenience. Then when i got there they said I could go return it to hawkesbury on John Street. Two hours later the John Street location called asking where the truck return is. I told them I just picked it up and haven't even got back to Lachine yet never mind return it and be finished. I said my rental was 24 hours. They insisted that they needed it that night. In the end I returned it at 6 pm and the next day I was contacted saying I never returned it to County Road location? This was the most complicated and unorganized rental I've ever done and I am very disappointed in the uhaul service of which I've trusted my whole adult life.Robert S.

Rental location is good. I rented a pickup and a tow dolly and Uhaul who got those up to the rental location had the great idea to not add a trailer hitch ball and not mention it (after all, I rent the vehicule and the trailer but I should have the ball...). The employee (who's not a UHaul employee) wa nice enough to lend one.Laurent C.

Charged me gaz (saying it was at 1/4 but was really 5/16) when was same has when picked-up at other location (5/16)Bryan B.
The system did not work and the staff did not seem to know how to resolve. It took over 15 minutes to get it resolved. I had a reservation and yet it still seemed like and issue. The agent did not ask me if I wanted the insurance and just added it to the account, I would have taken it, however I should be asked if this is an option. The agent needs better training. The experience lacks incredibly.MARK F.
