Extremely poor customer service. Couldn't get anyone to help with my drop off. They saw me pull in, but left out the side door and when I went to to side door, there was a note stating they'd be back in 20 minutes. I called the pick up location on Tucker Blvd, in St. Louis, and he told me to look at the link he'd sent. I looked at the link, and it had already expired. I left the truck and keys in the dropbox, hoping that I was doing process the right. I picked up the truck at 9am and dropped it off by 11:30am the same day, with 3/4 tank of gas, instead of just over 1/2, as instructed, and I was still charged $4 for going 4 miles over the mileage. The truck was old, smelled like an ashtray, was empty on gas, and we encountered mechanical issues not even half way into the trip. We should've not been given this truck to drive across country. The catalytic converter was not attached to the exhaust at all once we got the repairman to inspect it.judy N.

This location needs training. They are unaware of the what the 24/7 truck share service even is. They are incredibly rude, slow, and lazy. They told me I had to move my vehicle immediately and then again that I couldn't park in there lot. I will never go to this location again.Joshua S.

The 2 men that were there were very rude. Horrible customer service. I opted out of the insurance as I have never in the many times Ive rented bought insurance and he told me he has never had one person do that and it's not good. Made me feel like I wasn't good enough or even wanted. When I returned the refused to say anything to me when I stated mileage and how I put more gas than what was in it to begin with. Just rude men having a bad day and taking it out on others. 0/10 will never recommend to anyone!Kayla T.
I rented a 10 ft truck. It was not clean. I entered the driver's door, was in a bit of a hurry. I did not notice that the passenger door was opLAURA D.
I got charged $20 for 4 gallons of gas that I had already put in it to get it to it's amount it had when we took it! Location isn't easy access to get back on a main road. Shop they operate out of is extremely Tiny can barely fit in thr front door. I won't EVER BE BACK OR RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE!!!RALPH F.

They are not very friendly and when declining the insurance from them made it worst. This guy walked me to the truck and when I asked to verify the gas and odometer reading, he immediately said it's on the contract and walked away.I was shocked to hear that and by the time I looked to orb reading he was gone so I had to take a photo for my record which has reading way off to what was in contract he stated. And post drop off , I t happened what I was afraid off , they charged 24 $ for gas which I even showed them the gas receipt and photo I took with gas and odometer before drive out pearling lot Not location manager isn't willing to fix itNitin A.
With regards to the gas, I think they should like make it full tank instead of having to calculate like what happened to me i put gas that was not on my consumption. Make it full tank please.Katherine Marie O.
Our UHaul leaked on the interior, damaging all of our boxes in the â€œMom's Atticâ€ which included kitchen electronics, children's clothing and collectibles. When brought to the attention of the UHaul attendant at this location they told us â€œIt's UHaul's problem, contact them.â€Heather S.

I signed a contract that said any fuel I didn't fill up would be charged at $5.75 a gallon. Today my bill is for $9.50 a gallon.Brett L.

There was a sign saying that if I didn't checkout online, I'd get an extra $20 fee. I tried and got a website error. I called the help line and was told there would be a 50-60 minute wait. they said chat was always available, but there was a 20 minute wait to chat. Finally my son was able to make it work, but the whole process was a pain in the ass.Christine A.

Inside of the cab was dirty. The cup holder was dirty in the flat surface next to it had like either a rusted paperclip or some type of needle sitting in it. The passenger floorboard had a little bit of mud but not enough to worry about. I was really just more concerned about the cupholder and the service up by the cupholder. It was dirty enough I wouldn't put my cell phone anywhere near it.Allan N.

Good afternoon Uhaul, Yesterday (8/2/21) I picked up a 15 ft. rental truck from Plaza Sales & Service in St. Charles MO (1805 Veterans Memorial Pkwy. St. Charles MO, 63303). My reference number was 20740957. I have used this service many times before as I have bounced around the St. Louis area over the past few years. With that being said, I have never had a bad experience until yesterday. Unfortunately, I am not sure it is a UHAUL issue or instead the pickup location's issue as I have never met or had to deal with someone more unpleasant and unprofessional than one of the mechanics named Doug. The reservation pickup started as usual. I like to do it by phone because 1.) it is available to me and 2.) it tends to be a bit easier and very user friendly. I got to the point of needing to go and retrieve the key which is also normal. This is where things began to take a turn. First off, there was nobody in the office to help me. I waited roughly 20 minutes in and out of the office to see if someone was going to come in and help me or simply notice me. Nobody seemed to care that I was pacing around the parking lot and moving in and out of the office even though three different people clearly saw me. Finally, I got a mechanic named Doug to make eye contact with me. He was working on a vehicle and noticed me outside of the shop doors. I asked what I thought was a relatively simple question. "I am here to pick up a UHAUL. Am I in the right place?" He responded as if he did not want to deal with me by answering "Do you even have a reservation?" Catching me off guard by his attitude, I responded "Yes, I just need to retrieve the key." Doug then turned and continued working on the car for at least another 5 minutes. I got frustrated at this point as I have had my family waiting at my apartment to move out and I am now 25 minutes late. I looked for someone else to help me as the office was still empty and clearly Doug was not in any mood to help me, or I thought maybe I was talking to the wrong person. Finally, Doug came into his office, where I had been waiting the entire time, and asked what I needed help with. I reiterated again that I simply needed to pick up the UHAUL. He began going through his computer and asked for my name. I gave it to him and he quickly responded that it shows that I had already picked it up. I then explained and showed him my phone that said that I needed to go and retrieve the key. This is where I got very upset as Doug proceeded to ask why I would do the online check in on my phone when the shop was open. He denouced me as stupid and could not understand why I would do the online pickup when I could have simply come in and checked in there. Taken back, I really did not know how to respond. I said I was just following the steps on the app and got to the step where I needed to get the key. Doug then responded, "Well I am not going to tell you where the key is." At this point, I was ready to leave and just take my loss as Doug had not only ruined my experience but treated me as if I was some idiot kid who didn't know what I was doing. He then left the office. He returned about 3 minutes later with the key, but did not hand it over as if he was guarding it from me. He walked over to the UHAULs and asked if I was leaving a car. I responded "yes," and he asked which one and where it was parked, as if he was scoping it out. Finally, he just reached out and handed me the keys without saying anything and I was on my way with the remainder of the app's reservation process. First off, I understand that I am relatively young compared to Doug, but I was simply trying to get my reservation squared away and was simply following the app's steps. I have done this countless times and never had a bad experience, thus the reason why I continue to use the service. Never once did I think I would be treated in such a way that felt as though I was inferior and stupid for simply following the steps. As a matter of fact, I thought I was doing the business a good service as I was eliminating a lot of the steps that they would have to do if I did not use the mobile check-in. Not only that but I had essentially been verbally abused which was the sole reason for me being 30 minutes late leaving the UHAUL pickup store. Overall, this was one of the most embarrassing and intimidating experiences I have ever had. I was initially set to have the UHAUL 24 hours, but elected to return it around 10:30 pm last night (8/2) just because I did not want to have to deal with Doug again. I am not normally one to complain or even write reviews. I even consider myself a very polite and courteous customer in these situations. However, for some reason yesterday my polite and courteous demeanor was met with angst and verbal abuse. I simply wanted to share this story with you as it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I know they are an outsourced supplier for UHAUL, but felt the need to contact you as they are representing your brand. Please let me know if this will gain more traction or have more gravity if I reach out to the location itself. thanks, PatrickPatrick H.

The truck back door was stuck in the upright position from the latch not working properly, The truck cab was not wiped out before use (cup holders or dash), and the dolly seal was broken when picked up truck did not use dolly.Eric W.

the person that care for me was quiet and to the task of renting the truck. Did Allin good amount of time and out the door with truck....
