Needed a cargo truck on short notice. The owner operator came through for me. He was very polite and accommodating. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

We were scheduled to do an in-person pick-up of a truck... When we arrived to pick it up, there was a chain across the opening to the “office” and a sign that said “Uhaul closed today go to uhaul.com” .. Well luckily after an hour and a half, several calls to customer service, we got it figured out. I’m sure there are people out there that schedule an in-person pick up for a reason including people who aren’t comfortable with online keys, codes, etc. we were very disappointed with the location but the truck itself was fine...

The office door was open but no one was in the office. 45 minute wait and no one showed up. Repeated phone calls were not returned. No one was available to remove the trailer. I was not notified that the location was closed.

Get someone else to work at the location because he gave us misinformation when we rented the truck, gave us the wrong truck because supposedly the 17 footer was no longer available. Gave me an estimate of what I should be charged based on the mileage and cost of the truck and now I’m waking up to see an extra $21.40 taken out of my account which now left my account negative!!!!!

The truck was the worst vehicle to drive. There was something going on with the transmission, the suspension was all out of whack, and it kept pulling to the left the whole time. We thought it was going to break down and our move was only 11 miles!

I mistakenly marked the car as clean. When I got in, there were dead moths in the holders in the side door as well as little pieces of weed.

I wish U-Haul had a clearer explanation of what to expect when using the self-pickup and drop off with a phone. It took much longer than expected and I wish I could’ve filled some of the information out ahead of time instead of impeding into my rental time and the time after the rental was due back. I did not take pictures of the inside because by the time my phone told me I had to, I had already locked the truck and put the key away. I would probably not recommend using the self pick-up and drop-off to a friend or family member.

Extremely unhappy with this location. If I hadn't rented a U-haul from a different location 2 weeks ago, I would have put this entire company on my blacklist. The vehicle odometer was recorded incorrectly and the door lock broke so I was unable to access the cab. I understand that sometimes things happen- but what was completely unacceptable is that even U-Haul corporate was incapable of getting in touch with the location owner. He was completely off the grid and unable to resolve our problem. This led to spending 2 hours in the parking lot of the drop-off location with U-Haul corporate- after a long day of work and moving. Terrible customer service and beyond unacceptable in this day and age.

Very nice and accommodating Location Dispatcher but the truck was full of broken glass. It was not just a couple of pieces either. It must have gotten rear ended. Also, I was given mis information about the insurance. And my gas gauge was recorded a quarter of a tank over the actual amount I had. I needed to gas up first thing . . . which also meant I ended up not only returning with more gas than I received it with but on top of that I was charged additional for the gas.

Get customers in and out. Not making us wait an hour to pick up the trailer. He may have apologized but took forever to help. When he said he would help or be with us it was a good 5-10 minutes before he did and that’s with no one else being there customer wise. Overall a bad experience and will never go back again

The key in my assigned lock box was not the correct key to my assigned truck. We did notice however that to open my lock box, all we had to do was change the first number a notch or two so we tried all the other lock boxes until we found the correct key. Before that we also called the 1-800 number and the local number, but were on hold for a combined 40-ish minutes. Even though we started the check-it process at 10:00 on the dot, we didn’t leave the lot until 10:33 and it still said my return time for 4 hours of use was 2:00. We had it back in time, but wasted 30 minutes trying to get the right key. Horrible experience. Also the vehicle’s engine light was on and the steering wheel is badly out of alignment.

Did not pick up the vehicle from this location. The women working the central phone lines for the area (Albany NY number) were very helpful in finding another location to get a truck from.

after driving 2 miles, I noticed a screw deeply imbedded in the front left tire. I needed to drive 70 miles and wouldn't take the chance of a flat. this truck was not inspected when returned before I rented it. 2 1/2 hours later, a service tec replaced the tire. When you are moving, you are on a schedule. u-haul set me and the people helping me way back. An inconvenience to all. No discount, not a dependable company when your time counts. JP NY

Dave, the customer representative and owner of the business in Clifton Park provided outstanding service and he is a credit to your organization. He provided me with all the information needed and he was up front with me by telling me that although I had a reservation it was no guarantee there would be a unit available on the day of pickup. He told me he would drive up to an hour and a half in order to make sure I had a unit if necessary, and he provided me with the number of the U-Haul dispatch personnel si that I could call and remind them that I would need a unit on the day of "pick-up." I REALLY appreciated Dave's honesty and his willingness to go the extra mile.

The "one man operation" had very little knowledge of how a tow dolly worked. If I had to do this again, I would have taken the longer drive to the nearest full service U-Haul moving center.

The agent was not familiar with the vehicle trailer I returned, even though the facility in Virginia told me to drop off the trailer first so I could unload the truck.

The U-Haul system called Track-Share 24/7 is terrible. We waited almost a half-hour while our approval authorization, which never came. We ended up calling the local central dispatch, where a VERY helpful individual (Rachael) completd the process. Apparently, there were numerous others that had similar prbblems. I will not use U-Haul again if this Truck Share system is involved.

Rented 15 foot truck. All was good with one exception; a plastic stop in the cargo space at a corner of the shelf over the truck cab was missing allowing road dust & dirt to slowly get into the cargo. It was pointed out to Dave & I trust he will let the UHaul maintenance people know so it can be replaced.

Try being open like your website says you were supposed to be! Our reservation was changed to digital without our consent. Looks like a breach of contract right there. We left 1.5 hours later than scheduled because of this. No pads, dolly, or boxes were on the truck. We will NEVER rent from you again, and neither will any of our friends or relatives!

Took 35 minutes to approve my qualifications, which was a photo of my drivers license. After calling customer service during the wait time I was told “sorry you have to wait there’s nothing we can do.” I was held up for an hour and then had to extend my rent time.
