James LuebkerI used the 24 hour key pick up option. The process was well defined on the UHAUL APP. The lock that was used for the lock box was garbage and was difficult to open. It took many attempts The truck was ready and clean, the power steering was loud and sounded like it needed fluid.

Even though we rented using this process in August using the same account, uhaul insisted on calling or trusted contact not once but twice. Please also service your vehicles, the check engine light was on the entire time and we could smell exhaust in the cab

IT TOOK US 45 MINUTS TO GET THE TRUCK & 45 MINIYUS TO DROP THE TRUCK. THIS IS NOT FRIENDLY & NOT PRCTICAL FOR GOOD FRIENDLY CUSTOMER RELATION. YOU SHOULD BE MORE FLEXIBLE & SENSETAVE FOR CUSTOMERS. I HAVE BEEN RENTING U-HAUL TRUKS FOR MANY YEARS, THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIANXCE I HAD WITH U- HAUL TRUK RENTING LOCATION. I HOPE YOU WILL CORRECT THIS SITUATION FOR THE FUTURE.
Nabeel HodiI was treated very kindly and the man made sure the trailer lights worked as they should before I pulled out. I would highly recommend this location, this one restored my faith in U-Haul because after my last experience at a different location I wasn't ever going to use U-Haul again. I rented a trailer from another nearby location and he insisted I needed to purchase an adapter to get the lights to work and I said the car has both flat and round connecters I was told I didn't know what I was talking about. Being a truck mechanic for 40 years I figured I did so I left the place without lights until I pulled into another lot and plugged the cord in.

TSOGTSAIKHAN BALDANDORJHave the items listed on your web site in stock. I was told to find furniture blankets I would need to call each U Haul location. I tried 7-8 and stopped! A waste of idle time. Hire an app designer to redo your app. it stinks and neither me or my friend could get it to work properly . A waste of over an hour!! Clean your vehicles windows so the driver can see!! Wash the side mirrors also.Fix the loud niose the truck was making and also the transmission seemed to lag. Offer more open hours starting earlier and staying later. I called for moving labor and sat on hold over 55 minutes the first time and 1 hour the second time! No one was available to assist with my move!!

Jean CHRESTI use my own personal trailer for hauling machinery all the time, and check lights before every trip. I go to pick up trailer for car hauling. Guy puts on trailer and plugs in connection. Then my left turn and stop for the trailer do no work. There was no test before rental, and now I need to replace a fuse, once I find it. Would be nice if tested before hooking up to a vehicle. You need a cheap tester made I can supply one.
Jay RobertsPlan extra time to sign in to the app to secure the rental. Make sure to have a large snow brush so you can reach all of the windshield. And make sure to allow yourself ample time to fill out the return paperwork. Other than that it was amazing, Easy in and easy out truck was brand new super clean.

Jeff CookIm disappointed. I rented a cargo van well in advance. I got to the location and the van was there however I was unable to get the key out of the lock box. I had to call U-Haul to then be switched to a much bigger rental. This took about 30 min extra that was not planned for. I was not compensated for this nor offered anything for this mishap on their end.

cleo urbinaThe location of the truck, 500 W. Saint Charles, Villa Park, is not a valid address as there is not building or structure on this lot. Plug the address into you GPS, but it won't find it. Instructions for pick up very confusing. Using the mobile app is meant to be streamline, but is very clunky. Would not recommend.

Roger WidholmI was charged more money than I used the vehicle for! I drove the vehicle for 12 miles but they charged me for 36. That's $20 they stole from me and I can't do anything about it. I received it with a full tank of gas and dropped it back off with a full tank of gas. I did not go to a gas station but I did not need to because the needle did not move, I only drove for 12 MILES!!! On the receipt invoice I was just emailed tells me I returned it with 5/8th tank which doesn't even add up even if I did drive the 36 miles they said I did, there is no way the van could have used nearly half a tank in 36 miles. Beware if you use this service because they WILL scam you for more money! I am going to call coporate tomorrow to figure out what can be done. It's not much money but still, it's thievery and I did NOT use the vehicle for any excess mileage. I am irritated beyond belief over this The only good thing I can say is that the van was clean & btand new & drove real good.
Gabriel CarrilloMake sure the truck key is back in he lock box before the scheduled pick up time. I had to wait 45 minutes for the location to open. You should attach the lock box to the truck so it will always be where it is needed. Send a code to open the box, change the code after I return the truck and put the key back in the box!

Jon WalkerThis experience was terrible. I was not told that if you do not pick up your reserved vehicle by a certain time, UHaul will cancel your reservation. I spent over an hour on the phone with them to get the vehicle rented again. The gas tank was not filled to where they said it was. I have been charged extra money for the gas( that I filled ) back to the original level.
