I was over charged for this rental! Equipment was only needed for 5 hrs. and no way to turn it in the same day. I did not need it for two days, was the only way I could rent it I was told. $54.0 was ok but three times that I was charged. Never again Uhaul!!!
Donell KentPerson at the facility had a hard time with the commuter system, but that wasn’t her fault. It was the system itself. The trailer had a short and no rear wiring which caused it to smoke so it was disconnected at the license plate light. The ranching devices that are used to hold the front tires down have never been lubricated and need to be replaced or repaired so they function more freely.

Gary ConnerThe Lady at Stanton Ky was great, but yoir not cherry picking parts of my experience. I ordered a truck weeks ahead of time to be picked up 5 minutes from my house. You sent me an email of the address you were sending me 25 miles farther away but never attached anything to the email. I didn’t trust Uhaul so the first vendor had no idea. The second vendor in Salyersville was left holding our contempt. We contacted the 1-800- to talk with Michelle but ended with an assistant named Ashley. This person was a joke. People probably haven’t told you before but since her supervisor wasn’t there on the 11th, she replied how she wanted. My wife asked her questions on why we were not contacted early enough?, where was our truck?, etc. I assume it was too much for Ashley’s simple mind because she went into some act of saying on the phone, “quit yelling at me, quit yelling at me”. “Im not arguing with you all morning“, she said, “it was our mistake since WE went on line and changed our pickup location”. What a LIAR. She got caught in a lie and went hysterical. What moron wants to change from original pickup point 5 minutes away to 20 miles farther and then 80 miles farther at Stanton, Ky from Paintsville, Ky. This Ashley must have been putting on a performance for someone in the same room so as to make it look like it she was defending herself or it was not her job to provide answers which is typical with the product we are turning out as employees. I assume her performance was good enough and after a last “quit yelling at me” and “I don’t have time to sit here listening to you argue at me all morning” she hung up on my wife. Not one question answered or one alternative to YOUR problem other than clarifying Uhaul is still inept. You extended the rental for a woman in Salyersville that screwed up my rental. Your employee ASHLEY, it’s unexplainable the response from her. She didn’t ha e the skill to locate a replacement truck. My wife called 6 other locations to find a truck. That should ha e been Uhaul. I was notified by text three minutes before my pickup time that our truck was not there. That’s idiotic! All the while this BS is going on and I have 5 workers standing in my driveway at home being paid to sit on their backside. I followed through and wouldn’t have known you screwed me but I went by the Staffordsville office and saw the truck wasn’t there the day before but I was assured it would be there by that location. In closing, I will never use Uhaul again and I’ve already turned down the storage unit at the Uhaul facility on Colonial Ave in Fort Myers, Florida and purchased a storage unit at ExtraSpaceStorage today on Winkler Ave. Never again Uhaul!

That did not compensate me for the extra miles or TIME I had to invest. I would ;have thought I would have been given a credit or reduction of payment. Considering I had to drive 30 extra miles just to complete the Uhaul promise

The lady at this location was unable to assist us with hook up and due to the time delays, she actually closed and left us "high and dry". We called UHaul and a nice gentleman walked us through the hook up. This was not nice and stressful.
Diana RogersHire people who can clean the trucks and won’t overcharge people. I was charged 94$ initially and ended up being charged over 200$ that’s crazy and took from my family’s meals for the week. I guess we should be thankful for ramen noodles. Yay for moving for us, right?
TYLER FUGATEMake sure the lights all work correctly, Have a pic of the wire connection so you don’t have to drive it with no tail/brake/signal lights to the auto store, because the place that rents doesn’t have any of the new style adapters

Kenneth KronschnableThere was no one that would help me unload the trailer. The manager said her husband and a young boy who were mowing and trimming would help me. A random man in a red truck pulled up and the man on the mower and he sat and talked as I waited for 15 minutes for them to help me drop the trailer after the man in the red truck told me he would do it in a few minutes. After sitting 15 minutes I went to ask if they would please come help me get the trailer off, I had already unhooked it and only needed someone to go me lift it off. The man in the red truck told me he was on his dinner break and only volunteered to help. I said I would appreciate it if he could come and do it. Ow because I had other things I needed to go do. His reply was that if I was going to have an attitude he wouldn't help me at all. I dont think that asking foe help a second time after being told I would be taken care constitutes having an attitude, but I sure did after his remark! I asked where I could find the owner and he said he didn't even know I was there. I told him that he did know I was there because when I went to do the paperwork I left my truck hooked to the trailer and he called the lady manager at the office while I was sitting there. I went next door to the equipment place and asked if the owner was there. His reply was that they didn't have anything to do with Uhaul but he would gladly come help because the people than run it are rude, not helpful, and hateful. Boy was he right!!. When I have to rent another Uhaul to carry my motorcycles home after my extended vacation...I will go to Clay City!!!!! Absolutely unacceptable treatment of a customer.

I was asked to pick up the truck Saturday and return it Sunday afternoon since the location would be closed. Pam was very sweet and helped fixed everything and even came in later Sunday to check the truck back in.

JENNIFER GABBARDThere was over 12 inches of snow and the parking lot was not cleared! We were about to drop the trailer but needed the assistance of a passerby with 4 wheel drive to get our truck out of the parking lot! The people we talked with were rude and not helpful at all!

DEBRA MARTINThe only complaint I have is that I originally was scheduled for pickup in Irvine which is about 20 miles in the other direction from Stanton. I had to change my pickup date so Stanton was the spot I had to go to. When I asked if I could at least drop the truck off in Irvine I was told no that wasn't possible. So basically I had an additional $40 added to my costs. I gave a weeks notice about the pickup date and really thought you guys could have worked it to have a truck in Irvine.
WILLIAM DAUGHERTYThe address is incorrect, the drop off location is different than the office which is the listed address which isn't actually at that location on the map. I wasted $40 in gas figuring this out in the middle of the night. Upon calling customer service I was pretty much told to get over it and that nothing could be done to rectify this situation. As a repeat customer this is VERY upsetting.

James AddisonIt appeared that there was a lot of miles on a couple of the tires. It was about 50 miles from the point where I wanted to rent it from and did not find out I had to drive that 50 miles until the day before.

MARK WELICKIEquipment was ready when we arrived and in good order. The people we dealt with were very friendly.
Dwayne KindredThe people at this store were not accommodating at all. We had to travel an hour and a half to pick it up, and when we got there they did not seem to know what they were doing. They couldn't even work a fax machine to get the contract to who it needed to be. They were rude to us when we were trying to figure out when we could get there and pick it up. The woman rudely explained that she had another job and we couldn't pick it up until after 8:00 p.m. We had to speak with several people at the corporate level to get things straightened out. The size we requested wasn't available anywhere within a couple hours drive. They did allow us to have one size bigger at no charge, but they didn't have all the furniture pads that we ordered. Sent us with 7 instead of 12. We were already frustrated with having to go so far out of our way (with last minute notice, at that) and their attitudes were no help whatsoever. We weren't notified until Friday (I placed the reservation on Monday for a Saturday pickup) that we would have to go somewhere else so far away to pick up the truck and they didn't even have the right size there! Rude, unacceptable business.
WHITNEY BURKSThe guy named Mindle at this location was VERY rude and hard to work with. The whole time I was on the phone with him, a female in the back was telling him to be nice and professional. He did NOT listen. I will never rent from this location again. Out of all of the times I have rented from Uhaul, I have had only one good experience and that was the location on New Circle Road in Lexington, KY.
SHEILA SEXTONThe entire experience was ridiculous. When I arrived they didn't even know that I was coming even though I reserved the uhaul online. Then they had to call someone to come in to look it up so that we could rent the uhaul. The entire pick-up took almost an hour and we were the only people there. During the check-out, she pushed us to the side several times to answer the phone, make a phone call or speak to a family member that came in. Crazy! The same happened when we dropped it off. Someone had to be called and we had to wait for them to get there to check the uhaul in. Not only that, I'm pretty sure it was the first time they had ever used a computer. The customer service was abismal.
