Michael C.The straps on the vehicle transport weren't long enough to fit over tire, and strap down, wound up having to use our own straps, If they "would have been" at least another 6 inches long, it would have been an awesome experience, as they weren't extremly short, just "missed it" by about 6 inches. If I had "this problem", I'm "sure others" have as well,

Charlie C.The after hours check in process was horrible. I pulled in near the truck and logged in. Says I was not at correct location. With the help of a man there mowing I located the lock boxes and when close enough I could start the process. Of course I had no idea what would be involved and after assistance from customer service I was able to continue. Finally reached the point to obtain the key, Had to look at pics of the truck to verify condition. Pics weren't clear enough to see if the damage was pictured. I disputed so I could note the damage. That's when my phone battery died. With another phone I eventually reached customer service once again and after a few minutes I was able to reach a representative. He was very helpful and made notes of the existing damage I observed and told me I was free to be on my way. The truck was clean and ran well but I had never had one that had so much damage. The return went fairly smoothly. Of course, as usual, I had to pick up the truck about 20 miles from where I requested. l suspect it is done on purpose by Uhaul to make extra money for the mileage because it happens every time and it is always about 15-20 miles away which is $30 to $40 extra dollars out of the renter's pocket.
