The office where we had to go in was filthy and many pot hole filled with water and mud. I took the truck and ended up not using it at all. Brought it back and was charged almost $69.00 fir no services or use of the truck. I was exhausted and had to not do the move. Yes this was the worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul of the subdivision offices the truck was totally dirty in the back from top to bottom stuff staying to the walls clearly seen But the representative totally didn't care rude rude and concerned the representative just didn't care at all no I have nothing good to say about the rental at all rented for 24 hours took it back within 3 hours just totally disappointedmicheal H.

Website said the site had a appliance dolly and furniture pads and they didn't have either. Truck's gas tank was almost empty when we picked it up and once we open up the back there was all this metal debris and what looked like a few exploded soda cans. The walls were covered with sticky stuff. Not planning on using this service again.Allison T.
The truck was in terrible condition. Cracked mirror, tire tread was busting at the seams and smelled like throw up. Additionally, I reserved the truck at one location and once I got there they sent me to another location to pick it up. I was never informed if this change and it made my move extremely delayed. The place we were sent was pretty gross and filthy. I wouldn't feel safe there if I was alone. Never again. I will find another company for my moving need and make sure my friends and family do as well.Michael C.

The van was dirty inside and out and smelled of livestock. There was a problem with the transmission when I called the location to let them know so it could be check before next rental. Outside of vehicle was filthy, inside of cab had a heavy odor of smoke from cigarettes, and I had to sweep out the box before I could put my possessions in the back.Peter T.
I reserved a motorcycle trailer from Thursday at 3:45 to Saturday at 3:45 (two days) through the U-Haul web site. But when I picked up the trailer, the rude tow truck driver said that they closed at 2:00 on Saturday, and even if I returned it before 2:00, I would be charged three days - Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Oh, and also, they are completely closed on Sundays. Nobody told me this before making the reservation! Very frustrating. So, I had to return the trailer on Monday morning, and now I get charged for four days. I was done with the trailer by 3:45 on Saturday, as I expected, but could not return the trailer. They said that they do not accept trailer returns after hours as it needed to be locked up. Very frustrating experience and will think twice about using U-Haul again. At a minimum, you should refund be two days from this bill.Dean B.

!. Pick up location changed from Oakland to Pittsburg after confirming with Oakland facility two days before pick up. and Pittsburg was another hour away. 2. Office opened one hour late and office staff incorrectly marked the gasoline fill from lees than a 1/4 tank to 3/4 tank.3. Promised extra mileage was never given.. We were promised and confirmed a 26 ft. truck and were given a 20 ft. truck.david R.
The office is a dump. The worker was unprofessional. Was not there to return the truck as he said. Add charges that we shouldn't have had. When I called to ask him for my money back. He referred me to I 800 line. They were worst. Obviously there use to a lot of complaints. Sad. Overall the truck was a great experience. The truck got done what we needed to do. Very poor signage inside and outside. All "uHaul" related signage was not uHaul branded. Which made it hard to distinguish. The location did not seem inviting and or legitimate. The location also did NOT provide the proper Covid requirements for safe distancing (less than 6' of space inside.) When another customer came in, the individual at counter/office did nothing to ask them to step out. The rep also did not check the vehicle before. Did not pull it up. Did not even identify where it was located in the yard. I will not ever go back to this location again.Todd L.

When arriving noticed that facility was unsecure once I obtained the truck that was assigned to me I noticed that it was unsanitary and not cleaned properly I advised gentleman that I wanted a new truck and he told me it wasn't his problem I need to call customer service and over charged my card DO NOT GO TO THIS U-HAUL FACILITY!!!!!!Ryan G.

I like the service U-Haul is providing, but I will never recommend anyone to go the Pittsburgh office for renting, the customer service or sales persom give me a wrong vehicle and said you requested for this car, when I told him lets check the security cameras to know who is right then he said the cameras are not working, he charged me $133 for 32 miles however the cost per mile is $1. and he did a bad behavior with me.samsoor S.

Shabby office. Representative said I wouldn't have to pay for gasoline by the mark he put on the contract showing the original fuel level but the company said I returned it lower than it was. I was charged $17.00 more than I should have been. The representative said I was good to leave but the factor of the gasoline was not yet established. I should not have left until I knew exactly what I would be charged. I did leave so I have no proof to dispute the charge.Sandra B.
