When I tried to return the truck, the parking spot was taken and I had to park in front of another car. I'm hoping I don't get in trouble. There were zero parking spots available and the shop was closed.

Missing furniture dolly and was not even told or contacted about it missing. Had to search the for dolly in different locations and it caused such a delay in my move. Better communication would have been better

I called two Uhaul locations , neither spoke english well. They referred me to go online to rent the truck. I go online and they send me to Uhaul in Longwood at 4PM. I show up at 3:00 Pm and they are a convenience store and the truck is not there. They say ) in broken english) come back at 4. My wife drops me back at 4PM and leaves. There is no truck. The counter person calls uhaul and hands me the phone. I am now told to go to Fern Park to get an available unit. It is now 430 and they advise me to hurry as the Fern Park locatioon closes at 5. I pay an Uber $17 to take me to Fern Park and arrive at 5:04 The person inside this location works with me to get a unit. A huge hassle with no concern or apology for the inconvenience.

The drop off site was easily accessible however the lot was over crowded with other cars being that it was a garage/mechanic shop without any real guidance how or where to park the U-Haul. Wouldn’t drop off there again

Was a struggle from beginning to end. I went to pick up my rental and the website didn’t ask me for any information prior to pick up, so I had to put in my driver’s license number, emergency contact, take pictures of my license, and more when I tried to pick up the rental. After finally going to the counter after trying to do the mobile pick up I was able to get the key and was confirmed for the reservation. Taking the Uhaul back though I tried to “return uhaul” and that was a whole other ordeal. I ended up having to call and make sure I wasn’t over charged for the time I had it and was then told on the phone I never confirmed my pick up. It was a mess from start to finish but it did the job. Which is really the only positive I have out of this experience.

I was using the online app instead of Desk Check-out for the rental. I eventually had to call Uhaul customer service to actually get approval to rent the truck. Apparently the owner wasn't available to approve the online rental. I arrived at 1:55 for a 2pm rental, I didn't leave with the truck until 2:45. Hell on Earth when you are supposed to meet someone at 2:30. OF course, no one cared about my inconvenience. Not even the Uhaul representative on the phone cared. I was hoping that he would at least say, "I will take this information and submit to Headquarters". Nope. To improve, Uhaul should know that I've rented before and I should be rated, or be able to earn VIP status so that I am automatically approved for online rentals. I have a business and so have rented 4 trucks in the last 5 months. That should count for something.

I had reserved this almost a month ago. I had requested are utility dolly, and a furniture dolly. When I get there, the gentleman tells me that they do not have a utility dolly. Mind you, I have been planning this move of 300 miles forever. I just had back surgery and I can’t do any heavy lifting that’s why I needed this utility dolly. He tells me to call another location. When I call another location, they tell me that they don’t have any and for me to call other places. Whatever happened to customer service? If you don’t have this equipment, you need to find one for me because that is what great customer service does. Not half the customer call around 1 million places and then drive 30 more minutes to find one. Horrible customer service and I will never use this service again.

All trucks should have full fuel tanks when rented and be required to be returned that way. Having to fuel immediately after picking up a truck is inefficient use of time.

This location is a deathtrap. Parking is 0 and pulling out is a nightmare. Also your mobile return experience is absolutely atrocious. I had to spend almost 45 minutes trying to return my vehicle because the site kept crashing when trying to add pictures. The site, not my app. I tried it in multiple browsers and in private mode and all that still left it broken and unusable. I had to do the return via the customer support chat and I honestly will try and avoid uhaul next time I need a truck cause that whole rental experience was awful from start and especially at the end.

Pick up truck process took longer than necessary by not accepting the original phone provided and then trying to verify an additional people by calling them... Not smooth at all and what was supposed to be 5 minutes took like 30 minutes 😓😖😵😵‍💫

MAKE YOUR MOBILE CHECK IN USABLE ON ALL BROWSERS. I literally had to struggle through the stupid check in, which shouldnt be that fuckin hard anyways. IDK why I had to take ANOTHER picture of my license when I have an account and I have done all that already, but okay. But it literally refused to reliably upload photos. It could be on your end, but maybe its because your stupid website wasnt playing nice with firefox. I tried opening it in samsung browser and it didnt have as much trouble, but I shouldnt have to do that to just make your webpage function normally.

The app had so many issues. I would have rather done it with business owner in person. The app was so frustrating and would not easily scan the licenses, captcha kept being requested—seemed like a bug because it said the captcha was entered correctly but then restarted over and over again.

This was my first time using aU-haul truck and it must of been the guy who works at the place I picked up the truck but he didn’t know or want (I don’t know for sure) to walk me through the picture verification part of the renting process...Didn't take me to where the truck was...just told me it was “there” and have me a “smart answer when I told him I wasn’t comfortable with how this was going. The guy seemed like he knew what he was doing but he made me feel like I was stupid that “I” didn’t know what to do. How would I if I had never done that before?! The pick up part of the process was very poorly handled. The drop off went smoothly though but I did have to insist he finish up the process while I was there because he was busy doing other car things. I think it’s because it’s not a U-haul only facility...it’s also a mechanic shop. Not renting there again.
