Couldn't check the truck back in when I was supposed to because the website and app wouldn't load anywhere. I'd advise doing website maintenance at times people are less likely to try and use that system. The worker checked the truck in the next morning for us which was super niceJennifer G.

My phone was linked to the uhaul account, but was dead before we dropped off the uhaul. Because we dropped it off after hours, no one was able to sign into the app (needed a verification code sent to my phone) and we had to wait to â€œofficiallyâ€ end the reservation until my phone was charged. It didn't end up being an issue, but I wanted to suggest that perhaps the secondary phone number given at the time of pickup could be used for drop off as well. It would have saved us some stress. Otherwise the experience was great! We will be back.Lauren C.

I waited an hour to get the truck. Short staffed and not fast. The guy who waited on me was nice enough. Tried to add insurance and I told him to take it off. I did like that he told us to take pictures of the truck of pre existing damage. He also disinfected the drivers side for Covid which I liked.Zulf M.

Staff couldn't find my rental info, wasn't wearing a mask, no process for infection precautions, truck was barely sanitized. Took nearly two hours of waiting to get the rental. The uhaul price is absolutely insane for a one way trip that less than a year a go was 1/6 of the cost! This is total price gouging! In addition to the fact that there is zero standard sanitation process at the Uhaul establishments during a pandemic.Jennifer M.

My vehicle was in very poor and UNSAFE condition. Before leaving the U-HAUL pick-up location, I had the representative check the back trunk sliding door and he confirmed it was good to go. After loading furniture from my first location, I drove about 5 minutes and the 10-foot moving truck's sliding door flew open in the middle of a busy Philadelphia street! I had to pull over in the middle of the busy street (halting traffic) to then pull it back down and tie the back with a metal wire. I then drove off and then 2 minutes later while driving, the back trunk sliding door flew open AGAIN! The passenger with me then proceeded to ride on the back ledge of the trunk, holding the sliding door down while I drove 3 blocks to our destination. The downside to this location was that I couldn't leave my vehicle. I had to park elsewhere and walk back to uhaul- which I didn't feel safe doing- but had no other choice The man who helped me was great and extremely kind and knowledgeable. The vehicle ran great! The price was high- but I needed the truck so I had to do it!Michele H.

Upon returning the uhaul the milage was read incorrectly, therefore entered incorrectly....it was entered that the truck was driven 1000+ miles in 3 days!!!! This came to a charge of $5000+, when the person helping us tried to cancel it to correct it it still tried to charge my credit card, I immediately got a text from my credit card company stating a charge for over $800 was trying to go through....for almist a week i have been getting these alerts. This has been extremely stressful and i keep getting charges from uhaul almost a week after returning the vehicle. I also needed assistance after having the keys locked in the truck (I had purchased oadside assistance). We waited over 2 hours for someone to come and no ome did, yet they tried to say they came. We had to call numerous times to complain until someone sent out another person, whom arrived within 40 minutes. I have used uhaul before without any problems but this time I have had nothing but trouble and stress even today! I called corporate about the $5000+ charge but they said it never went through yet my card is still being charged / trying to charge me for things. I ha e no idea why I'm being charged days later. I will be calling corporate about these matters. I should be compensated for the stress that I habe endured because of this. I am close to maxing my card out because of this! First, please don't let someone book a "24/7 Truck Share" Option at a location that doesn't actually offer that. Service was friendly, but very slow and disorganized.Alex D.

I ended up being charged a higher rate than originally quoted. No one answered the phone for after hours drop off questions. The drop off sight was incorrectly listed. I had difficulty negotiating the sight on line when attempting to correct error in drop off sight addressRebecca A.
I had trouble returning the turn with the app that day and this was documented with customer service. I picked up the van with 74 miles used and returned with 101 miles. Apparently they saw 181 and now refuse to give my money back by what the CSR told me today. Have these ppl gone mad? Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!!Natasha S.

My issue was not was not with the initial reservation, pick up location, the drop off location (went very well/quick efficient service never had to walk into the building) it was with the confirmation call. I requested 1 location closest to my home for pick up (Northeast Philadelphia- Roosevelt Blvd) and that's where the mix up came. They sent me to another location, but when I requested an email or text to confirm it was totally different location (Tioga) when they told me Germantown. Also, the # provided in the text was a non working #. I had to call a different location (City Line) to confirm the reservation.faith K.
