We had reserved a dolly and a dozen blankets when we reserved the truck. Neither the dolly or blankets were with the truck and we didn't find this out until we got to our destination. Very disappointing.Dennis O.

I had no issues with Petro Mart. They were perfect. I had huge issues with U-haul. They kept changing my reservations. It was such a mix-up. My son also rented from U-haul the same day and had similar problems as I did. It is seemed like there were several people that were having issues with U-haul rentals on the same day. I will look for other help with moving rentals in the future.Michelle E.

The representative told me that she would email me a receipt, however I had to call to receive it and she added insurance to my bill without my consent. This added ~$60 to my bill that was unnecessary given I have adequate insurance through my personal insurance coverage. I will/would not recommend this dealer.Andrew J.

There was no ramp on the 10Ft truck rental. I found this quite odd especially since there's options for dollys. It made moving extremely difficult. We also had an issue at the Petro Mart when we were picking up the truck and were unable to rent the two dollys I had ordered for an unknown reason. The person checking us in didn't really seem to know what was going on. This was my first experience with UHaul and I don't know if I would return. The experience wasn't as smooth as I had hoped for.Andrew A.

I waited at the location, arguing with the worker for 30 min before I got my keys. I even called customer service, who tried to help, but petro mart didn't know what they were doing. I got put on hold and then hung up on by uhaul. The petro mart employee finally realized she could have just given me the keys all along. Horrible experience.Kimberly S.

Not enough room for trucks to park was told I had to drop off in Milwaukee which is way out of my way when I needed to go north. After about a half hour of trying to discuss with customer service the guy at petro mart finally said it would be fine and that Uhaul would need to empty lot right away in morning, there was more trucks to drop off there yet that night. Scheduling needs to be looked at much better, there can only so many trucks at a location and they schedule twice as many to drop off causes a lot of problems especially when you live 3 hours away and are unfamiliar with the area and they want you to change your plans to accommodate them.DAVID P.

Hello customer service, I have many directions I am logging a formal and legal complaint and cases again Petro Mart & Liquor gas station of Menomonee Fall WI. I picked up and returned a U-Haul truck from this location today. My demands are that this location is forced to discontinue business with U-Haul. Today, we stood there at the service desk for an extended time that we did not have to spare while the clerk was being trained to do what we had scheduled. This is the irresponsibility of management to not be prepared for scheduled business. We were not told that low pressure would show up on our dash display. We were not told that the gas cap was known to be missing. It shows a lot of lack of interest in U-Haul. All staff proved us mistakes both at check-in and return financially on our card. The person that took that return was overboard in emphasizing that we had to call U-Haul to get any remedy whatsoever. He did promise us that they will easily and nicely return out $14 to us. We went ahead and called right away only to sit in a queue for 10 minutes that ran us right up to 5 pm Central Time. We called back only to get an outgoing message that the center is closed. This is really irritating, frustrating, and uncalled for. The staff at our return chose to threaten me about getting the owner in and the police. I called the police myself only to find out that the police were called in for some other party. The staff person obviously made an idle threat. I felt that the police would be good to know the conduct of this staff person. I also called back to the gas station. I talked to a gentleman for a bit. I asked if he was the owner not expecting it to be the case. He did identify himself as the owner. I told him I am way unimpressed with his business. He admitted to being aware of his staff person. He admitted to me that he was not in the mindset to apologize to me, my wife, or my family in any way whatsoever. He clearly does not appreciate his patrons. I would like an additional follow-up from your business on this infraction. I am going to be talking around town and contacting the Chamber of Commerce. I am also contacting the Better Business Bureau and other business entities and public outlets to create awareness about the shoddy way business is done at Petro Mart & Liquor gas station in Menomonee Falls. Because of the convenience of where it is located I would recommend the location. However I did the pre-check in and the website said "waiting for approval". When I went inside the clerk took 15 minutes to figure out that he had to add in my driver's license. Another clerk helped him after waiting that time and then I got the key. They didn't explain anything about the truck or tell me if I should check it over for damage prior to using it. I had to ask about the gas, if I was responsible for it or not. Only one clerk to take money for gas, wait in customers, get lottery tickets for lists of people at 7:15 am. Trucks parked so close together that it was hard to get out of parking. No information from clerk that checked my payment out. Back of truck had usual odor. Had to clean it out before putting my things in it.BARBARA R.

Pay close attention to the mileage rate. I was told 69 cents a mile by Uhaul and was charged 99 cents a mile on the contract Sent via my phone. It felt like a bait and switch.GARY N.

The individuals working were nice and professional, but because the location is a gas station/convenience store, they really don't have time to maintain the cleanliness and preparation to rent out trucks. The person working behind the register is expected to operate the gas station and store, serve customers, rent trucks, and bring out rental supplies without help. The truck I rented was dirty inside the cabin, and it took me an hour to clean off the snow and ice just to be able to drive it. I also had to go into the store twice to get hot water so I could pour over the loading door mechanism just so I could open the loading door. I had to keep thermoses of hot water during my move so I could pour over the loading door mechanism just to get it to work. Again, the individuals working were nice, but this was a very unpleasant and painful experience from operating the truck perspective.DWAYNE H.

Our bill was wrong when we returned the equipment. We filled gas to 3/4 of tank, which is where is was when we picked the truck up. We uploaded pictures to the app as instructed but were still billed $30 for gas. We brought it to the attention of the attendant on duty who said he would fix it. We still got charged $15 for gas even though we filled up to 3/4 of a tank per our contract/agreement. Still waiting to get it resolved. Not impressed with the on-line app for reservations, pick up and drop off. It was not easy to use on my phone and there were several errors that we had to have corrected by the attendant on site in addition to the gas charge being made in error.SARAH K.

The truck needed air in the front right tire and the driver's door had to be slammed in order to close properly. Otherwise, everything went very smoothly and the two people working at pick up and drop off were friendly and helpful. There was a gross cigarette smoke smell in the truck but I am sure it is difficult to monitor. Despite those few things, I would rent from this location again.Tammy K.

the truck worked fine, but it was very dirty inside even with trash in the door and dirt on the floor; dust you could write your name in on the dash. it was parked so close to the vehicle next to it in their parking lot, it took a long time to back out. All of my attempts to use your online service, supply all needed information, was for naught. They had to re-enter it all inside the gas station, while various characters walked past me with no masks on. i felt very unsafe. I do appreciate being able to rent a truck like this, but, why be so sloppy and dirty? why not do a good job of cleaning it? why is your computer system so non-functional? even the clerk in the gas station could not check me out when i returned it. after standing there quite a while, he had to just write down my miles and handle it later; i left without knowing my full charges.Nancy M.
The furniture pads that we ordered were not provided when we picked up the truck. None were at this location. Some of our furniture got dinged up. The person at the counter didn't seem to know what he was doing when we picked up the truck. It also took a long time to get our refund for the furniture pads that weren't provided. 1st I made my rental more than a month before the date of my move, which was changed just before my move to a location that was not as convenient as the place I chose.The person I worked with was not a particularly friendly guy. He didn't make it seem like I was important to the business he was undertaking. He didn't make it clear as to the vehicle I would be renting. I was told by uhaul that I would be given extra mileage because of the change I mentioned above but was charged for extra miles. It was not a good experience. Try to do the opposite of the way I was dealt with to make the experience better for the next person.Carey S.

The employee was not friendly and was lazy. The truck was covered in ice, didn't have an ice scraper and was stuck in the snow. That takes time to fix and you have a time limit to bring it back. The truck was dirty inside and had candy wrappers, Gatorade bottles, and dog bones scattered throughout. Will never go to this location again. Unacceptable service.Brittney L.
