This isn't a criticism about the pickup location, it's about U-Haul. I had ordered 30 blankets and there were none available at this location, nor at either of the 3 other locations I called. These were needed to protect my furniture during the move and there was no alternative. U-Haul is over promising on equipment too and can't deliver. I had ordered an auto transport and it wasn't available at ANY of my preferred locations, not could they guarantee that they would even have one available on the day of my move. I went to the pickup location the day before to make sure they'd have this ready for me and the guy there told me that they had 3 reservations for auto transports and they were only getting 1 in. That's not right. I don't know if I'd ever use U-Haul again because they can't guarantee they'll have what I reserved. Finding out on moving day that what I had reserved wasn't available was intolerable for me. Do better!!!TERRALEA G.

The truck was fine but none of the equipment I ordered (appliance dolly, furniture dolly, utility dolly x3 and two dozen furniture pads) was left in in it. And this was a Friday evening with the business closed until Monday. The killer is that I'd called the franchise owner earlier to make sure my reservation was set because I'd had issues logging into my account (which is necessary for mobile self pick-up.) I'm pretty sure he had the equipment and just forgot the ever so crucial step of putting it in the truck because I could see a bunch of dollys and furniture pads sitting on the other side of the locked glass door to the business's lobby. Then, when trying to get help I couldn't immediately or easily reach the correct customer service line via chat or phoneâ€"and this process unfolded in 5pm July heat because I had used a ride share service to get to the location. Ultimately, I had to drive the truck to another location (accruing mileage I would not have paid for otherwise) where they kindly provided me with most, but not all of the equipment I'd ordered (not complaining, just saying). Additionally, the app would not allow me to initialize the camera on my phone for the pick up and return process (it wasn't an access/settings related issue with my phone, I checked). Altogether all of this mess 100% negated the purpose of mobile self pick up and led to lots of frustration that literally no one with U-Haul ever apologized for or offered to comp (I personally feel my equipment and mileage should've been free after all that). Not sure of his role but one of the local agents I spoke withâ€"Ethanâ€"had the conflict resolution skills left of toddler for an adult who was being paid. He provided me two options, only one of which would actually allow me to complete my moveâ€"I could either proceed with the truck rental without my equipment or drive to the other location and pick up what they could offer. He just was not able to de-escalate my frustration in a helpful way and truly seemed like he couldn't give a damn since the error was on behalf of a franchise owner.Amanda E.

Upon drop off they told me that they wouldn't accept the truck due to no space and asked me to drive it to another location. On my way there they called me and said to bring back the truck. So many inconveniences with this booking. I used uhaul 4 times and this will be my last. I rather pay 200 more for Penske and no hassles.Joseph Minh N.
